“I enjoy this restaurant. They have a great bar and make a wonderful old fashioned. Their oysters Rockefeller are out of this world. Best I have ever had and I’ve been to Antoine’s. Crispy chicken wasn’t. It was in a sauce and wasn’t special. Cheesecake Factory has better elote, and Jimmys hotdogs on Grand has better fries. We have had the steaks in the past and they are very good. Yesterday was like eating at a McDonalds playland. The couple seated after me saw where the host was going and said no, they wanted the remote room. I’ll remember that. You can at least have the adults in a quieter area. The service wasn’t great. It took 15 minutes for the waitress to come and get the drink order. Not exaggerating. A group who came after us were served dinner before we got our appetizers. The host came over often but it seemed kind of odd. They couldn’t figure out how to give us separate checks. But I’ll go back and have oysters as an entree or a steak.“
“Been here numerous times and each time the service and food were great. Atmosphere got 4 stars but that is only cause sometimes there are patrons who’ve partaken a bit too much of the “sauce”My only request is they do a vegetarian/pescatarian dish so those who don’t eat meat have other option than just the salad bar.“
“As always, Chef Paul’s restaurants are right on point. Katherine and I collectively have been to Vistro (Prime) a few times . . . and the food, craft cocktails, and atmosphere make for an excellent social and culinary experience. It was wonderful to see Patrick doing the Mixology while the other restaurant is in process of opening apparently this spring. This time around, Katherine and I stopped by for a craft cocktail, and we ended up enjoying the happy hour oysters that were very good.I have never offered a single suggested critique of Vie or Vistro. The only request I have is for the manager of Vistro Prime is to check the barstools at the bar.My barstool was wobbly, and it likely/ simply needs to be tightened up. I’m a handy person and have constructed and repaired barstools; so possibly, the hardware for some of your barstools needs to be tightened up and or repaired. They are beautiful barstools!Other than that, I completely recommend Vistro Prime to every and anyone that receives this review and all my friends and family as always!“
“I have mixed feelings. It was Easter "Saturday" in the mid-afternoon and the place was packed. Instead of waiting an hour for a table our party went to the bar area. While Nancy the bartender was sweet and tried her best to care for everyone as best as possible, she was overwhelmed. Management did not seem to be present to support and the service was slower than it needed to be. We were pressed to take my sister to the airport and shared this up front and while they put in the appetizers, forgot to put in our main order. We waited for over an hour. Right when we were literally about to get up and "call the audible" to leave, management brought our food out. We took a few bites (of which it was fresh and well seasoned) but had to pack it up and leave. Again Nancy was great and food was fresh but it was painful to see the bartender struggle unnecessarily when there appeared to be plenty of staff that could have delivered a better sense of urgency to provide collaborative support.“
“I went to Stacy’s a few weeks ago to have dinner and listen to a friend of mine who was performing there that evening. I had steak and french fries and salad and soup and it was all outstanding and all for a very reasonable price. Great atmosphere terrific service and unbelievably delicious food. I will definitely be back there soon.“
“Had the porkchops, it was enough for three people and was incredibly good. The restaurant is a well oiled machine, just getting people in, fed, and out the door. Everything was fine, no complaints. Just not relaxed and quaint for my taste but this is what you should expect from a good steakhouse in the center of a popular higher end shopping center. We went on a Saturday night and Parking was a nightmare.“
“We celebrated our wedding anniversary last night and the staff was wonderful! In our reservation notes I requested a both and mentioned we were coming for our anniversary. Our requested was accommodated and the table was set with a lovely card and rose petals. Several staff members stopped by to wish us a happy anniversary. All food and drinks came out perfectly and timed perfectly. Our server was Stephanie and she was absolutely fantastic! Can't thank you enough for making our dinner perfect!“
“Gibsons was hands down a 10/10 experience. My girlfriend and I had our anniversary dinner here and everything was superb. From not having to wait for our reserved table to the amazing service by our waitress. We loved the presentation of the different type of meats. Our appetizer was delicious and the cuts of meat served to us were made to our liking. Make sure to save some room for dessert they essentially bring you a whole cake hahaha. Worth every dollar. Will be coming back here for special events.“
“Prices are reasonable, and the portion of food is filling. The loaded baked potato, isn't worth paying that extra $, for they only sprinkle a little cheese and bacon on it.We usually go for the Road Kill dinner, and switched it up to having the chicken, I got to say it had a great flavor.Texas Road House in Bloomingdale, Illinois has been our favorite one!“
“The best “fish fry” that we’ve experienced thus far in downtown Elmhurst or possibly all of Chicago!!! Why do you ask? The owner / management team (Dominic Ranieri & Nicolette Ranieri) aims to please by offering the true and proper “haddock and chips”! The batter is perfectly proportionate to the size of the fillet and not greasy. Then comes one of the best old fashions we’ve had. Why? Their amazing bartender, Evey, knows exactly how we prefer them and she never disappoints. Last, but certainly not least, the service is always impeccable from our most favorite waitress, @Alisandra Mondrella! She’s prompt, professional, and always with a smile! Thank you again for the first class experience!!!“
“1st time ever eating from outback was very excited to try the blooming onion. Waitress seemed to be a little agitated upon arrival. We ordered the blooming onion for a appetizer. But we also ordered our meals at the same time we also ordered the wings and told the waitress to have that come out with the meal. She wasn't listening they came out with the wings and the side order of chilli as appetizers no onion bloom until it was time to go! The food itself was amazing perfectly seasoned and juicy. I didn't get to try the onion that I wasted money on because I didn't want a nuked onion I wanted a crispy fresh 1 but maybe if I wanna make the 45 min drive again I might have to retry.“
“Service was good, food was great, drinks/food pricey but as expected, comfortable atmosphere! Recommend to anybody traveling through looking for a great steakhouse. The bar area was very comfortable for anybody not wanting to dress up fancy. Stop by and give it a try!“
“Cedar plank salmon was delicious as was the whitefish and the wagyu steak. The crab cake is the best. Sarah our server Debby th manager and Jennifer the hostess were all so gracious. I left my credit card with the bill and they called me immediately. I turned around and went back and picked it up. Thank you!“
“Upon entering on a Friday evening, I was greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff. It was a wonderful experience and the food was delicious. One of the many reasons I continue to return to this restaurant is the amazing and friendly service we received from our waitress.“
“Ruben was our server (Oakbrook). I come from a restaurant background. Ruben is an EXCELLENT server. Friendly, helpful, and totally competent with the whole dining experience. Our food was hot and delicious, Ruben checked in on us just when he should. Also, the 2 bussers were phenomenal at keeping our table cleared and clean. I always know I am in for a treat at Wildfire. I am not just gushing here, the place is a machine of food/drink/ and experience enjoyment. Thank you for a great Night! A. Meo“
“I was on a first date here about a week ago, and it was amazing. The food was incredible, but the service was even better. My evening was handled by a server named George. He was very knowledgeable about the wine selection and catered to every special need I had. He was so warm and welcoming and never missed a beat. I would like to thank him again as well as request his services. You were impeccable George!“
“We came here to celebrate a birthday and were extremely pleased with our dinner experience! Katie was friendly, attentive, and a great server. Our appetizers were the spinach artichoke dip and shrimp dejonghe and both were outstanding. The dip was flavorful and the shrimp was something we’ve never tried before. It tasted like shrimp scampi with a soft garlic crust on top and it was just delicious! The soups tasted very good and the French dressing on the salad was great too. The special cut of ribeye could have had a bit more seasoning, but was perfect otherwise. We were even gifted a free dessert for our special occasion and decided to take home some key lime pie which was drizzled with a raspberry sauce and topped with whipped cream. Will definitely be back again!“
“The Italian Wedding soup was too salty, but the kale chip accompaniment was a nice touch. Crab cake was good, the apple match sticks and watercress greens complimented it well. Walleye Pike with Etouffe had too much rice soaked with the sauce. The fish was cooked perfectly, but the etouffe sauce over powered it. I think it would have been better if the fish was served on a plain- or saffron infused-rice with a lemon-butter sauce. NY Strip Steak with Gorgonzola sauce was perfectly cooked. The shareable mashed potatoes and mushroom sides were also very good. The bread pudding dessert was dry, but the ice cream topping overcame it. Service by Casey and the supporting staff was excellent.“
