“Tom’s Carry-Out has a massive menu—everything from Greek chicken and gyros to ribs, fried seafood, burgers, and Mexican dinners. I usually avoid places with menus this big, but Tom’s proved to be the exception.

I ordered the quesadilla dinner. It was a bit greasy but still tasty and filling. It came with Mexican rice, refried beans (I opted for double rice), and a TomTom tamale. The tamale was a little dry and could have used salsa. My husband had the grilled chicken pita and said it was the best he’s ever had—freshly grilled chicken with lettuce and tomato. I also spotted the Greek chicken at another table, and it looked excellent.

Beer is reasonably priced at $3.50 for domestic and $4.50 for imported. There’s a separate gaming room, which I appreciated since it keeps the dining area quieter. Seating is limited to about a dozen tables, but staff cleared tables quickly, so there was no wait. They also partner with popular delivery services.

Parking is shared with nearby businesses, but most spots seem to be used by Tom’s customers. I’m already planning to try the Greek chicken and Gyros next.“

“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“Kefi has some of the most delicious Greek food in the Chicago suburbs! The lamb chops, souvlaki, and gyros are phenomenal and so are the moussaka, pastitsio, and spanakopita. When it comes to appetizers, you can’t go wrong with the flaming saganaki cheese, the grilled octopus the fried calamari, the loukaniko sausage, or the taramasalata. Don’t forget dessert! Try the baklava, galaktabouriko, and the chocolate cake! They have amazing drinks too! The employees there are very kind and friendly and the chefs really know how to cook! Eat at Kefi! You won’t be disappointed!“

“I really enjoy Mediterranean food and this dish not disappoint. The trio of dips was super tasty and salmon and spinach salad good too and both were plenty to share between two for lunch and arrived to our table quickly. Pricing was reasonable too“

“Was a busy night on New Year’s Eve. Ambience and service is great. The food was very delicious and had a wide variety of flavors. Server helped us with picking up a wine as they had a big selection of wines. If you’re looking for something outside of regular Greek food then definitely check them out for a unique experience. Can be a little pricey.“

“My fiancé and I have been a gyro war. I’m a Skokie Dengeos girl and he’s a diehard Squabs fan. While it’s hard to compete with childhood memories after trying Squabs I totally get it. The gyro was perfectly cooked, the tzatziki was beautiful, the fries were delicious. The absolute standout was the customer service. I was having such a bad day. I confused the gyro plate with the gyro dinner and they took such good care of me. I had cried the whole ride over and left with the biggest smile and a plate of leftovers. 10/10 I will be coming back every chance I get.“

“Went tonight on a whim for dinner and I’ll just say this place was spectacular! Without even knowing anything about this restaurant in advance, and in town from Pittsburgh for a youth hockey tournament, we happened to drive by and decided to stop and eat there. Walking in the atmosphere was fantastic and the service was spectacular. We sat at the bar, had a few cocktails, unbelievable appetizers, terrific meals for dinner followed by the most amazing desserts ever. While we were there, we had an opportunity to meet and chat with the owner for a little while. Always a pleasure to talk to someone that is passionate about what they do and appreciates both their employees and customers. It was a fantastic dining experience and I highly recommend this place. “BEST GREEK SALADS ! I always order from here and I’m never disappointed! I’ve never had a better Greek salad than Mr. Zee’s. Their Greek salad dressing ….. I mean I wish I had a gallon of it at home so I can put it on everything. I think they should start selling it or maybe give me the recipe ?? Either way I’d be happy 😊 The spanakopita spinach pie and also amazing. I miss their rice pudding. I don’t think they make it anymore but regardless Mr Zees is amazing !!!! “This was our first time eating at YiaYia's Cafe in Hinsdale, Illinois. The restaurant and bathroom was very clean. The food was great tasting and perfect portions. The waitress was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again!

“As soon as you walk in, you get to see their menu and easily just say menu 1 or 5 and get your order placed quickly and be able to sit down as you watch the cars pass by, the cashier is a nice person to talk to about your day while you wait for your food.

The food is perfect, drink choices are great.

“I have not been to Nicky’s since I moved away from that neighborhood almost 40 years ago. I was a regular customer from around 1978 to the mid 1980s. That place was a household name. I see from some of the reviews that they have expanded their menu which is a mistake. They should have stayed with only burgers, chicken and gyros.“
