“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“Always enjoy coming here for the great food & service! This time though, my one and only qualm, is about the lamb chops. The dish is only supposed to come with two (2) chops but when we received our order, we were given three (3) chops and told that since the first two were a bit underweight, the chef just added a third chop to our plate. Sounds nice, right? Not really. Because we got charged for the third chop even though we never asked for it! It's only $8 for that additional chop but please don't make it sound like you're doing us a favor when in reality, you did it to upcharge us and pad the 20% gratuity that's already included in the check. I'll be coming back because the food is just that good, but I'll be sure to only state that we only want 2 chops next time.“

“Absolutely outstanding! The food is extremely fresh and timing of the dishes during our visit was spot on. Our sever, Juan, took care to watch from afar and make sure our meal flowed. The busser was on his game as well! I don’t think my water ever fell below the halfway point. We enjoyed the Gyros ( a must try), prawns, mussels, potatoes, and saganaki. The portions were perfect. To be honest, we should have called it quits after the prawns but we couldn’t help our selves, it was just that good. Owner stopped by for a quick hello and welcome. He’s doing a fantastic job with this location and I do hope he continues to do well. Highly recommend Mana for both the food and ambiance.“

“I had my nieces at MTG Park playing. We walked across the street to GG. Ordered hot dogs and fries and of course each got a cone. The workers were very nice and patient with the girls. The food was yummy. Great place to end our day!“

“My fiancé and I have been a gyro war. I’m a Skokie Dengeos girl and he’s a diehard Squabs fan. While it’s hard to compete with childhood memories after trying Squabs I totally get it. The gyro was perfectly cooked, the tzatziki was beautiful, the fries were delicious. The absolute standout was the customer service. I was having such a bad day. I confused the gyro plate with the gyro dinner and they took such good care of me. I had cried the whole ride over and left with the biggest smile and a plate of leftovers. 10/10 I will be coming back every chance I get.“

“BEST GREEK SALADS ! I always order from here and I’m never disappointed! I’ve never had a better Greek salad than Mr. Zee’s. Their Greek salad dressing ….. I mean I wish I had a gallon of it at home so I can put it on everything. I think they should start selling it or maybe give me the recipe ?? Either way I’d be happy 😊 The spanakopita spinach pie and also amazing. I miss their rice pudding. I don’t think they make it anymore but regardless Mr Zees is amazing !!!! “This place is EXTRAORDINARY. Food is phenomenal, everything on the menu is delicious. Tàma team is wonderful and welcoming. In my opinion, the best seat in the house is the counter. You get the experience of watching the chefs make your lunch/dinner which is an experience in itself.“

“This was our first time eating at YiaYia's Cafe in Hinsdale, Illinois. The restaurant and bathroom was very clean. The food was great tasting and perfect portions. The waitress was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again!

“As soon as you walk in, you get to see their menu and easily just say menu 1 or 5 and get your order placed quickly and be able to sit down as you watch the cars pass by, the cashier is a nice person to talk to about your day while you wait for your food.

The food is perfect, drink choices are great.

Overall, great place to grab a great bite whether your on the road or you live in the area.“

“I walk and run by George’s pretty often and was craving a gyro so I decided to stop in. It’s a bit of a whole in the wall but sometimes that’s the best kind of vibe. I decided to get the gyro plate which came with way more food than I expected. It was pretty delicious and came out pretty quickly. I took it to go and it held up well in transit.“
