“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“Kefi has some of the most delicious Greek food in the Chicago suburbs! The lamb chops, souvlaki, and gyros are phenomenal and so are the moussaka, pastitsio, and spanakopita. When it comes to appetizers, you can’t go wrong with the flaming saganaki cheese, the grilled octopus the fried calamari, the loukaniko sausage, or the taramasalata. Don’t forget dessert! Try the baklava, galaktabouriko, and the chocolate cake! They have amazing drinks too! The employees there are very kind and friendly and the chefs really know how to cook! Eat at Kefi! You won’t be disappointed!“

“I really enjoy Mediterranean food and this dish not disappoint. The trio of dips was super tasty and salmon and spinach salad good too and both were plenty to share between two for lunch and arrived to our table quickly. Pricing was reasonable too“

“Had a hankering for some Greek food and wanted to do something outside of Greektown and boy, am I happy I did. The food is very authentic in the best way it feels like there’s a grandma in the back making all the food that just relocated from Greece to Chicago. something I didn’t really know was this is a very regional area of Greece that borders Turkey so there’s some unique flavor profiles that you don’t get at a standard Greek place which I really appreciated. We got the eggplant spread, which I’m usually not the biggest fan of eggplant and I really enjoyed it. It had some smokiness. It had some freshness from the balsamic vinaigrette and maybe like an herb, as well as a little punch of lemon very delicious. We also got the fried cauliflower that had a delicious whipped feta dip and The leak wrapped Filo dough pastry, which was very very good. As an entrée we got the duck gyro and it was some of the most unique yet delicious food I've had in awhile. Service was excellent. Also, you know you’re in for a good time when the menus are laminated yet the ambience is very curated. It feels like homey family run resturnat but by people care. i’ll definitely be coming back and be telling friends about this place.“

“My fiancé and I have been a gyro war. I’m a Skokie Dengeos girl and he’s a diehard Squabs fan. While it’s hard to compete with childhood memories after trying Squabs I totally get it. The gyro was perfectly cooked, the tzatziki was beautiful, the fries were delicious. The absolute standout was the customer service. I was having such a bad day. I confused the gyro plate with the gyro dinner and they took such good care of me. I had cried the whole ride over and left with the biggest smile and a plate of leftovers. 10/10 I will be coming back every chance I get.“

“Went tonight on a whim for dinner and I’ll just say this place was spectacular! Without even knowing anything about this restaurant in advance, and in town from Pittsburgh for a youth hockey tournament, we happened to drive by and decided to stop and eat there. Walking in the atmosphere was fantastic and the service was spectacular. We sat at the bar, had a few cocktails, unbelievable appetizers, terrific meals for dinner followed by the most amazing desserts ever. While we were there, we had an opportunity to meet and chat with the owner for a little while. Always a pleasure to talk to someone that is passionate about what they do and appreciates both their employees and customers. It was a fantastic dining experience and I highly recommend this place. “So I have been eating here for Years, and the food is fresh and well done, I normally get a pork souvlaki and saganaki and the Greek potatoes are amazing. The owners are dedicated and super nice and you can byob to the patio in the summer. To us it is a staple of 3 to 4 times a month, fresh food, very good seasonings and great tzatziki ,super fresh pita as well. It is better than more of the larger restaurants in Greektown and not greasy like many storefronts that do Gyros.“

“This was our first time eating at YiaYia's Cafe in Hinsdale, Illinois. The restaurant and bathroom was very clean. The food was great tasting and perfect portions. The waitress was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again!

“As soon as you walk in, you get to see their menu and easily just say menu 1 or 5 and get your order placed quickly and be able to sit down as you watch the cars pass by, the cashier is a nice person to talk to about your day while you wait for your food.

The food is perfect, drink choices are great.

Overall, great place to grab a great bite whether your on the road or you live in the area.“

“Just walking in, it smelled amazing. We ordered the rib tip dinner with frys and a salad. At first sight, the food looked amazing, then you take a bite and the flavors were amazing. The meat was just melting in your mouth, the sauce was the perfect amount of sweet and it was just delicious. The service was amazing and the food came out quick. The only downside is I don't live in Chicago, so I won't have it again for a while. So if you are in Chicago this is a hidden gem.“
