“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“Kefi has some of the most delicious Greek food in the Chicago suburbs! The lamb chops, souvlaki, and gyros are phenomenal and so are the moussaka, pastitsio, and spanakopita. When it comes to appetizers, you can’t go wrong with the flaming saganaki cheese, the grilled octopus the fried calamari, the loukaniko sausage, or the taramasalata. Don’t forget dessert! Try the baklava, galaktabouriko, and the chocolate cake! They have amazing drinks too! The employees there are very kind and friendly and the chefs really know how to cook! Eat at Kefi! “I really enjoy Mediterranean food and this dish not disappoint. The trio of dips was super tasty and salmon and spinach salad good too and both were plenty to share between two for lunch and arrived to our table quickly. Pricing was reasonable too“

We split the tzatziki and pita, grape leaf wrapped shrimp, mushroom pastry, fried cauliflower, and roasted potatoes. Everything was a good sharing portion and nothing felt skimpy. The rooftop vibe was excellent on a summer night! Our waitress was great and made us delicious Hugo spritz even though we didn’t see them on the menu, she made it happen!

The fired cauliflower was fantastic and I recommend as a must! The phyllo dough pastry was my favorite and came with a side of mild goat cheese - yum! The potatoes were tender and cooked in lamb fat with pieces of juicy lamb included.“

“My fiancé and I have been a gyro war. I’m a Skokie Dengeos girl and he’s a diehard Squabs fan. While it’s hard to compete with childhood memories after trying Squabs I totally get it. The gyro was perfectly cooked, the tzatziki was beautiful, the fries were delicious. The absolute standout was the customer service. I was having such a bad day. I confused the gyro plate with the gyro dinner and they took such good care of me. I had cried the whole ride over and left with the biggest smile and a plate of leftovers. 10/10 I will be coming back every chance I get.“

Without even knowing anything about this restaurant in advance, and in town from Pittsburgh for a youth hockey tournament, we happened to drive by and decided to stop and eat there. Walking in the atmosphere was fantastic and the service was spectacular. We sat at the bar, had a few cocktails, unbelievable appetizers, terrific meals for dinner followed by the most amazing desserts ever. While we were there, we had an opportunity to meet and chat with the owner for a little while. Always a pleasure to talk to someone that is passionate about what they do and appreciates both their employees and customers. It was a fantastic dining experience and I highly recommend this place. “The best gyro spot in Chicago, the gyro was fresh and delicious if you’re looking for a gyro this is the spot I have not tasted anything else here however the staff is friendly and make you feel like you’re picking food at your aunts place. I’ll post a picture next time I forgot to take one 🫪“

“This was our first time eating at YiaYia's Cafe in Hinsdale, Illinois. The restaurant and bathroom was very clean. The food was great tasting and perfect portions. The waitress was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again!

“Well originally I was craving for Portillos but since this whole week I've been working at Midway I kept seeing this hole and below local restaurant.. This is my first time trying Nikki's and I was actually suprised at the Italian beef. It was not bland compared to Al's Beef or Portillo's but at the same time it was not too salty. I like that they use steak fries. Very chunky. As for the choice of a drink for the meal for $12.99 they had horchatas as well as Jamaican juice and mango or the regular soda fountain drinks. I would have given them four stars for my experience but after seeing that they don't have a bathroom to wash your hands. Service was ok. Ambience was like a hole in the wall or very local which is good. I would come back but next time would like to try their burgers or their barbecue rib tips. I do recommend for such food“

“Just walking in, it smelled amazing. We ordered the rib tip dinner with frys and a salad. At first sight, the food looked amazing, then you take a bite and the flavors were amazing. The meat was just melting in your mouth, the sauce was the perfect amount of sweet and it was just delicious. The service was amazing and the food came out quick. The only downside is I don't live in Chicago, so I won't have it again for a while. So if you are in Chicago this is a hidden gem.“
