“Tried this place for the first time today because I didn’t wanna go all the way to the city to the original Home of the Hoagy and wait forever & stop at an atm to get cash? I googled “Hoagies near me” and Fitches was the first to pop up! They’re definitely my new favorite! The hoagies were so fresh and delicious and the sweet steak was good and tender. “I drive all the way from Darien to get there sandwich. Started going there 45 years ago and then I moved and came back and the original location was closed and I thought that was it. About 5 years ago while on Facebook I saw and add for Peppo’s. I was thrilled to know that they simply moved. Best sub sandwich you will find. I love subs and no one beats peppos“

“While not my usual selection, I ordered the Italian beef dry with juice on the side. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sandwich and the generous amount of beef packed into it. The side of juice was fine for someone like me who doesn't was a soaked beef. With the side of fries and drink it is a sandwich meal that satisfies. The employees are courteous and efficient.“

“Had a taste for a mall cheesesteak and decided to give this location a try. I ordered online and was advised 15 minites, I showed up within 20 minutes, and my food was hot and ready. The cheese steak was very good, thin meat, fresh condiments, and soft bread, and I really enjoyed the thinly sliced pickles. I also ordered wings that were well sauced and a very nice size for chicken wings. The service was nice as well. I will definitely be back. Also, if you plan on coming back. join their rewards online, you get coupons and sometimes a few dollars off your meal.“

“Ordered catering from Darla’s this weekend for my college graduation party. Went in a few weeks prior to try the sandwiches since I had never had them before and the staff was super nice, even gave me free samples of their salads to try along with my sandwich orders. Since the sandwiches were so good, we decided to go with them for our party. Our order was on time and exactly as we’d asked. They also provided us with mustard and mayo packets and “The Goods” on the side in convenient serving packages. The pricing is also extremely competitive. They are much cheaper than popular chain sandwich places’ catering options which shocked me since it is a small local business. “First time here must say it's a very clean location. A bit busy but they keep the line moving. Not sure what I was going to order but they have a big bright menu. Ended up getting a number 8 which is a club sub, turkey ham provolone Applewood smoked bacon and mayo. Delicious! They have tables and chairs for dining in. And a soda machine with Pepsi products. It was a bit cold in there though. But overall a good experience.“
