“The food was OK. I don’t think that the chicken nuggets that I ordered were made fresh. From the time I ordered to the time I sat down and got my food was less than five minutes. The taste was decent. It’s definitely packed with flavor. The coleslaw was pretty good. I may give another location a try and ask for the food to be made fresh.“

“After hearing about Omarcito’s from Triple D, we had to try it. The owner, Omar, is hilarious and has a great personality. He greeted everyone as they walked up and held genuine conversations. My husband and I ordered a few different items, and we were not disappointed. The ingredients are fresh and you could tell the meat is marinated because it was super tender. This place is a must!!“

Service was very active and server answered questions kindly. Food wasn’t really my type, a bit “fancy”, with lots of garnish, but obviously doesn’t deserve to lose an actual star because of that. “Don't be fooled by the lack of signage and hard to find vibe.....that's part of the neighborhood gem ambiance. Friendly service and helpful waitstaff will explain the seasonings and hot spices. Main dishes are not bland! Props for the potatoes and huge applause for the ice cream sundae (gelato). Next time I will try some other dishes. Not excited about the black beans and rice...but otherwise very interesting menu! We will be back!“

“Food was absolutely delicious - i had the Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo (Garlic Shrimp) and the whole thing was 10/10. Washed it down with a really good classic margarita, which was HUGE and strong in all the right ways. Our server was a gem, she was so nice and attentive and the food was fast to come out. The patio was spacious and calm, and with the sounds of local families and music floating in it felt very neighborhoody - which i love. Overall a great small business to come and support in person if you're able.“

“Went here later at night in a windy and cold night to have morocho as I was passing by from Colorado to Maryland. I was pleasantly surprised, taste was good and empanadas were bigger and had more cheese than expected. I have gone to a different place for years but unfortunately closes early (6pm) and food taste and quality has definitely declined so this will be my new spot everytime I am in Chicago. Highly reccomend.“

“I've been here a few times now. There's no wait for a table, you sit yourself anywhere. Parking on the street, I typically walk no more than a block. Service is good. They serve water in styrofoam cups which I found odd but, water tastes fresh and refreshing. Prices on food are expensive with the average being like $20 for a plate. The food is very delicious. We had empanadas, morocho, salmon and broiled chicken. The portions are massive and the food is very very good. They give complementary platano chips which are always bomb. I'd give this place 5 stars if the prices were a little lower. Highly recommend!“
