“I find some of the low reviews here baffling. I think some people may be confusing this restaurant with other Chinese restaurants due to its rather non descript name. Make no mistake, the food here is excellent and punches way above its price point.Coming in the first time I was pessimistic. It seemed your standard pre prepared food menu ready to dish out quickly to the lunch crowd panda express style. I quickly became a huge fan after eating large well prepared portions I would expect from a normal sit down restaurant. Yes it's your standard generic fare but made so much better.Great food, great price. Appreciate these places, the owners care about making something good.“

“I didn't realize I hadn't reviewed Cida Thai yet. It's my favorite Thai restaurant. I must have gotten takeout from here 20 times or more. I've moved to the east coast, but make sure to get Cida Thai every time I visit IL. I normally get sweet & sour tofu, vegetable egg rolls, and tom yum soup. It's been delicious every time I've gotten it. The tom yum is perfectly flavored. I have a friend who is a very picky eater and a couple times he has ordered here and asked for special food accommodations (like plain pad thai with no veggies or meat), and his food has been perfectly made to order. Staff is very nice.“

“I was in the area visiting my siblings and was craving pad thai. I ordered a party tray for $60 so i can share with the family. It did not dissapoint. It was so good. Matter fact best pad thai I ever had. I also ordered shrimp spring roll. Spring roll is delicious, fresh, and nice size. Highly recommend. Definitely will be ordering again. “Some of the best Thai food I have had in awhile. When I am sick, I want some spicy Thai herbs to knock out a virus and this restaurant delivered. Got Covid and all I craved was Thai food. It was soothing, comforting and made me feel better. Staff were so pleasant to work with on the phone and very accommodating. Driver respected my no contact delivery request. The Tom Khar soup was phenomenal - creamy, delicious and all the right spices. Green curry was soothing and smooth. Food was clean and fresh. It was so good I ordered from here 3 times in 1 week while I was sick because that is all I wanted. My sister is now hooked on this place because when she got sick I ordered her what I had and it made her feel better as well. The place was half full and a lot of orders were placed for pick up.The food was great, prices are low and service fast and friendly.The main entries were of moderate size, so plan to have appetizer as well. The spicy dish (Seafood Curry) was rather mild, you may want to ask a hot sauce on a side.We were looking for nice Thai place and eventually we found that one. Definitely will come again.Parking: The restaurant is located on a small shopping plaza with plenty of parking.“

“I love this place, the owner is so cool and the food is phenomenal. I genuinely get sad when it’s closed for extended periods of time. The noodle dishes I have gotten have all been flavorful, packed with fresh herbs and vegetables, and the portions are good. It is a little bit pricer than competitors, but it is worth it. We waited another 10-15 min but the staff was so nice and apologized because they were so busy- I love seeing small businesses thrive so I didn’t mind. It was worth every minute of the extra wait. “Real Thai is the best authentic Thai food in the Chicagoland area. They have a secret Thai menu that offers items not found elsewhere. The beef tendon soup is unmatched anywhere. The tendon is like eating bone marrow, extraordinarily tender. Careful on the heat scale, 4 or 5 is pretty spicy and I make me own chilli oil with Thai red chili peppers. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.“

We got the dinner for two which came with tons of fried apps like shrimp, shrimp roll, egg roll & crab Rangoon w fried rice, cashew chicken & Mongolian beef (my favorite). “I stopped by for Valentine's Day, I had no reservation. When we walked in, the restaurant wasn't that packed, once we were seated, the server served us water and was really nice when she greeted us. She asked if we wanted anything to drink and gave us a couple of minutes to look at the menu. A few minutes later more customers started walking in, the restaurant was more than 75% full. They still managed to take our order and did not took long for our food, we had beef fried rice, orange chicken, special beef pho and the appetizer platter. Let me tell you, everything was delicious and their service was very welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes.“
