“I love this place.! The food has always delivered for me. I have been ordering from this place for a long time now. That being said recently I have noticed that the smoky chicken that I absolutely love from this place (no other place around me seems to have smoky chicken option) has had a bit of a texture change from how it used to be sometime ago. It seems to be a little more fried/crunchy rather then tender which is where it is the most delicious. I can't describe it exactly but I know it does not have the same texture as it once did. It is still very good regardless and I will continue to get it but I hope this gets seen and maybe offer some kind of explanation but I recommend this place!“

“Crab Rangoon and chicken satay was great.
I couldn't decide between pad ke mao and panag curry, they had a panang wide noodle hybrid dish but it was more like thin panang soup Instead of A stir fry. I wouldn't order it again.

“It’s not every day you see a family-owned restaurant that's been around for 40 years. They are currently doing takeout only but if they've been around for that long, they must be doing something right. And unsurprisingly, the food here was just as good as some of the most highly regarded Thai restaurants in the city. The spice levels and flavors were undeniably authentic.

The pad kee mao was nicely charred and the noodles were satisfyingly chewy. The nam tok had smoky grilled beef in an incredibly addictive sauce and sprinkled with a generous amount of toasted rice. Pla koong was a particularly interesting dish. It has the same sauce as the nam tok but was additionally loaded with various herbs, making it much more refreshing and complex. The shrimps were slightly raw in the center almost like ceviche. Texturally, they were softer and more flexible, with more of a chew rather than the firm snap of cooked shrimp. Flavorwise, the natural sweetness of the shrimps came through much more clearly. The papaya salad was alright and ended up being the weakest dish of the meal.

I have seen they occasionally hand out watermelon when it’s in season. Now I have another reason to come back and test my luck.“

“I was in the neighborhood and made it just in time for their lunch special, between 11-1pm. I had the cashew chicken with a spring roll to start, and a Thai Ice tea. The server asked how spicy I wanted it and gave a choice between 1-5, I chose 4, but when it came out they had forgotten to add it, so he quickly took it back to add it. It was a chopped up Thai chili and the dish was delicious and fresh tasting. Can't wait to go back and try a different dish.“

“This is located in Park to Shop. The food court area is pretty spacious. It’s one of the nicest looking food courts I’ve ever been to at any grocery store. Decoration is key. We ordered chicken satay, fish cakes, boat noodle, basil crispy pork, Thai iced tea, crab rangoon, and wonton noodle. Service was friendly. Overall, it’s a solid 4. I would go back but try more dishes.

-chicken satay 5 - chicken was very tender and well seasoned.
-fish cakes 3 - they were okay, nothing to wow you. I think the curry paste could be stronger.
-boat noodle 5 - it is served in a large bowl. The broth has a sweet and spicy mix. There is beef, noodles, pork rind, bean sprouts, and meatballs,
-basil crispy pork 3.5 - I feel like the pork was too crispy and chewy. I would have liked it to be a little bit softer, crispy, and juicy. No one likes eating tough meat.
-Thai iced tea 5 - standard, not watery.
-crab rangoon 5 - pretty standard. It had a lot of crab imitation and cream cheese.
-wonton noodle 5 - the wontons were very meaty. Don’t sleep on that broth, it’s very savory.“

“The food here is amazing especially regarding how many gluten free dishes they have. They have the largest gluten free dessert menu I’ve ever seen! So many delicious options that I just keep coming back. They also have a modern, but warm atmosphere that is delightful. This place is clearly a hidden gem and a must try!“

“The best Thai food experience I’ve had in my life. The Boat Noodles were insanely beautiful and delicious! The Papaya Salad was perfectly balanced and crisp. The Thai Tea was sweet and refreshing. The ambiance and service was kind and authentic!

“I dined at Neko Sushi and tried their tuna and avocado fried rolls, and they are the reason I’ve already been back three times in the past two weeks since finding this neighborhood gem. My fiancé ordered the shrimp in a blanket and they were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. I had the ramen both times and it was absolutely delicious. My fiancé tried the pad thai with shrimp on one visit and the basil shrimp fried rice on another, and both dishes were full of flavor and so satisfying. Neko Sushi has quickly become one of our favorites. Everything we’ve tried has been consistently fresh and tasty. Oh and they are BYOB!“

The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. Asian Cuisine express will be a regular stop now for us every time we go to Chicago... we highly recommend everyone tries this restaurant and we can't wait until we visit there again. They treat you with the hospitality of family. I personally love the yellow curry, pad thai, panang noodle, chicken satay, curry fried rice, and also the mango panna cotta! So good! We love Lai Thai!“

“I met the owner he was very personable and professional. I got my food delivered and I might add it was just as good as if I was Dining in. Amazing Pad Se Ew, sauce is great, broccolis are not overcooked as they should be, allowing the extra crunch factor instead of a completely soft vegetable.
Wonderful chicken satay paired with peanut sauce and a dish of cucumbers, a good combination.
The Pad Thai was delicious, portion was plenty for me. Spiciness well suited my taste.
