“This was my first time to a Sharks Fish & Chicekn, and I wasn’t sure what to get.
At first I thought I’d get shrimp, but I decided I wanted fish. Then it was a question of a fish burger or a fish sandwich. I asked the two young adults I saw working, what kind of fish, and they said catfish. I had never had catfish before, but I decided to try it and I’m glad I did. I let them decide between the burger or sandwich, and the woman said burger because she liked the bun.
So, I ordered a fish burger with everything, which ended up being a filet broken in half with a slice of cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo.
It was made fresh to order and tasted great!!

The breading was crunchy, and the fish was perfectly cooked, not overdone. Their catfish was very mild, which I’m happy about. Most of the flavor came from the breading and the mayo based sauce.

They also gave me fries to try. These are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. They are thicker than most place’s fries, almost like steak fries, but they are battered rather than having skin on them. I enjoyed them.

All in all, I’m thrilled to have stopped by and given this place a try. I will be back to try more.“

“Captain Hook’s Fish & Chicken is so good and always hits the spot. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and just flat-out better than anywhere else. They’re always open when I need them, and the taste is consistently amazing every time. I literally drive 30 minutes just to come here, and that should tell you everything. I have a Sharks Fish & Chicken near my house and it does not compare at all. Captain Hook’s is on a whole different level.“

“We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Mr. Benny’s for the first time and it truly exceeded every expectation! The steak was cooked perfectly, the drinks were excellent, and dessert was amazing. The owner was so welcoming and the service was outstanding. “Today was my first time there. The food is delicious my kids love it but I don’t feel I had the great service. First, we didn’t get the napkins and utensils on time but way after the food got there. A drink spilled on me (our fault) which made me realized there was no napkins provided, by the time we found the lady for napkins I was soaking wet. Then we were about to start eating and my children needed a fork, well no fork was provided. We ordered 3 seafood boils, no utensils for that were provided neither. My husband ordered an extra drink, never was it brought to us. I’m happy my kids enjoyed it, but we were not that pleased as we saw others being treated differently. Not sure if we will be returning.“

“Frankie’s is one of the best places to go to for a celebration, date night, or just to enjoy some delicious food. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The staff is very nice and attentive, including Frankie who seems to greet and say something to everyone who comes in. It is one of our favorite places hands down! We also catered them for our housewarming party and the process was very easy and the food tasted amazing as usual. Definitely recommend!“

“The food was so good but a bit pricey. The service was excellent. We enjoyed the ribs.

It was frustrating that seats are first come first served. I wish they would take reservations ahead of time. We decided to stop before our flight and it took way longer than expected.“

“Finally got to try the Mariners Boil at Red Lobster Matteson. It did not disappoint, the lobster tail soaked up all of the RL Signature Butter sauce! So good! Lathaniel was great-- pleasant, welcoming, attentive, patient while we ordered, and knowledgeable. Lathaniel made suggestions/recommendations as we ordered, paid attention to detail, and checked on us often. Lathaniel made us feel like family. Great experience, will return.“

“Tried the Oak Park location on a Wednesday night. It was FANTASTIC! I got a pound of Alaskan King crab legs, and while they didn’t come with crab crackers, we only had a little trouble breaking the meat out. Phenomenal crab legs. They came with perfectly seasoned red potatoes and corn on the cob. My partner ordered (fried) shrimp tacos and could not stop raving about them. The shrimp was very fresh. We also ordered fresh cut fries and they were outstanding, though they could use a bit more seasoning. But extra seasoning was brought upon request. The owner, Shawn, brought out the food, was attentive to our needs, and even struck up a friendly conversation as we left. “Seafood snacks? What are y’all got, kelp? Honestly, I have no way to possibly fathom what a seafood snack could be. But that’s not even the most confusing part to me, y’all got steak too? How? Is the steak a seafood snack? Well, it is separated by a “&”, so I guess not. Or could it possibly be that the cows who are the steaks were fed seafood snacks? Or could it be that the cows were sea cows? Maybe the cows were born and raised underwater. I’m just trying to imagine the logistics of that, like how would the cows get oxygen? Maybe it’s highly oxygenated water. Or maybe throughout billions of years of evolution the cows became adapted to the sea life. I’m not even sure that cows have been around for that long. But also, I feel like we would be feeding off of a very rare species. They’re probably super rare because I have never heard of them before. So it might be best that we don’t eat the sea cows, or they might go extinct.“

My wife ordered a LEVANTA MUERTOS for 2, but it was mostly for 3 or 4.
Plate was served plenty, and tasteful, everything in there was cooked perfectly. Also it came with lost of hot sauces and tostadas witch save time to just seat and eat.
But EMPANADAS DE CAMARON were not that wood, flavor was right, but they were under cooked.
We ordered to go, but next time we will eat there. Place looks nice and nite.“

“Love this place - the chicken is always good. BUT if I order wings and ask for “mild sauce on the side” I only want mild sauce. I ordered 8 wings with mild sauce on the side and got 1 cup of mild sauce and 1 cup of hot sauce - I never asked for hot sauce so now I have 8 wings with 1 cup of sauce.“
