“Travelled from New Jersey for a wedding in Belleville. We knew we wanted to try a local coffee shop while we were in town so we stopped into Longstory Coffee for it's great reviews and unique location in a renovated 1800's train depot. The atmosphere was incredible and the coffee was better. I ordered a pour over that was exceptional and my husband ordered the mocha. It was one of the best he's had. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Illinois. It was very reminiscent of the coffee we get over at the farmers market in New Jersey. Also, Carla B's BBQ Breakfast Burrito is the best thing I've ever had for brunch. Thanks for having us!“

“This place has some of the best boba I’ve had. The drinks taste fresh and balanced, and they are not overly sweet. The tapioca pearls are soft and chewy, which makes the drink even better. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick, even when it gets busy. The shop is clean and has a nice, relaxed vibe. You can really tell the owner takes pride in the store and cares about the quality and customer experience. My favorite drink here is the green tea mango boba. It’s refreshing and full of flavor. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you like fruity drinks. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

Although the coffee is fantastic and I honestly can't get over hearing "scoot around" every time I'm there, that's not the reason we frequent this location. “We went through the drive through and I got a mocha coffee. It was sooo good. I've had a lot of coffee, a lot and this was hands down the best out of the many I've had. Their cute advertising was amazing and the other drinks looked so yummy and eye catching to say the least. I won't drive past another Scooters without stopping to try another drink. They also had some pastries and I believe breakfast type sandwiches.“

“Update: I got in contact with the shift lead this morning. Her name is Augusta and she was extremely helpful. She felt really bad For what happened and will be telling the store manager. I wouldn’t let this one bad experience here deter me from coming back. Original Review: I placed a mobile order and got there around 6:40 pm. Posted hours on the store front say they are open till 9:30 pm. They had everything locked and a lot of pissed off people coming through the drive through. When I found the drive through window it was 7pm. They claimed they had the registers shut down and I said their hours on google maps said they were open till 7:30 and their posted hours on the store front clearly said 9:30 and she just simply said no. I will never return to this location. You close at your posted times. Period end of story. Oh and the person that opened the drive through window had a pieces of paper with Dunkin’ written on it taped over the Starbucks logo. Real classy.“

“My husband I I ate breakfast at Main Street Cafe. My husband had a cheese omelette, home fries and English muffin. I had 2 scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. Everything was delicious. The cafe is old but clean, comfortable and the servers are attentive and friendly. We’ll be back!“

“First of all I love Starbucks! But for the last 2 days I've went to the Fairview Heights location to get my same drink. The caramel ribbon crunch frappuccino, and for 2 days straight I've asked for light caramel drizzle because it's too sweet and extra crunch. It even says it on the label stuck to my drink, but yet it's covered in caramel and there's no extra crunch. And I know sometimes we become complacent because we're in a hurry we're making the same drink every day multiple times, but I usually have to get a spoon and scrape it out. I will even pay more next time I go, just to get what I ask for...“

“I went into Baskin-Robbins expecting, you know… a normal scoop. Maybe a lil cup. A casual vibe. Instead, these absolute legends said “nah” and casually disappeared to the back like they were about to perform surgery—only to return with a FRESH BUCKET of ice cream like they had just churned it with love, dedication, and possibly magic.

I’m standing there like… is this a transaction or a life-changing event??

The scoop? Immaculate. The energy? Elite. The commitment to my happiness? Unmatched. I felt like a VIP. A celebrity. The chosen one of frozen dairy.

If you’re debating going—don’t. Just go. Worst case scenario: you get amazing ice cream. Best case scenario: they pull out a fresh bucket and you ascend to another plane of existence like I did.

I didn't really have any interaction with staff (I ordered ahead, my order was ready on the counter when I arrived) but they got my order correct and the other customers seemed happy with their service so, 4 stars on service!“
