We knew we wanted to try a local coffee shop while we were in town so we stopped into Longstory Coffee for it's great reviews and unique location in a renovated 1800's train depot. The atmosphere was incredible and the coffee was better. I ordered a pour over that was exceptional and my husband ordered the mocha. It was one of the best he's had. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Illinois. It was very reminiscent of the coffee we get over at the farmers market in New Jersey. Also, Carla B's BBQ Breakfast Burrito is the best thing I've ever had for brunch. Thanks for having us!“

You can really tell the owner takes pride in the store and cares about the quality and customer experience. My favorite drink here is the green tea mango boba. It’s refreshing and full of flavor. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you like fruity drinks. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

They made my moment during that time lot easier and better after I drove off, but I really get strawberries smoothies that I really enjoyed it and I enjoyed her small kids smoothie which is really nice.“

“My daughter and I went to the Scooters location down the road from this one and had ordered 2 iced vanilla coffees, when we tried them, they must have been mixed wrong or had added something else because they tasted really funny, so bad that we couldn't even drink them. So we had pulled into this location to order new ones. We explained to the employee at the window what happened down the road and asked her if she could toss the other ones we just bought because they did not taste right. The manager and her employee were so nice they did not charge us for the new ones! Great customer service, very friendly staff!“

“Update: I got in contact with the shift lead this morning. Her name is Augusta and she was extremely helpful. She felt really bad For what happened and will be telling the store manager. I wouldn’t let this one bad experience here deter me from coming back. Original Review: I placed a mobile order and got there around 6:40 pm. Posted hours on the store front say they are open till 9:30 pm. They had everything locked and a lot of pissed off people coming through the drive through. When I found the drive through window it was 7pm. They claimed they had the registers shut down and I said their hours on google maps said they were open till 7:30 and their posted hours on the store front clearly said 9:30 and she just simply said no. I will never return to this location. You close at your posted times. Period end of story. Oh and the person that opened the drive through window had a pieces of paper with Dunkin’ written on it taped over the Starbucks logo. Real classy.“

“My husband I I ate breakfast at Main Street Cafe. My husband had a cheese omelette, home fries and English muffin. I had 2 scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. Everything was delicious. The cafe is old but clean, comfortable and the servers are attentive and friendly. “First of all I love Starbucks! But for the last 2 days I've went to the Fairview Heights location to get my same drink. The caramel ribbon crunch frappuccino, and for 2 days straight I've asked for light caramel drizzle because it's too sweet and extra crunch. It even says it on the label stuck to my drink, but yet it's covered in caramel and there's no extra crunch. And I know sometimes we become complacent because we're in a hurry we're making the same drink every day multiple times, but I usually have to get a spoon and scrape it out. I will even pay more next time I go, just to get what I ask for...“

“I live nearby and have been to this location numerous times since this location's inception. I have always recieved good service, but nothing worth leaving a review for, that is until last week. Janna took my drive-through order about 8 p.m. Due to the time we went through the drivethrough (using a birthday reward), my husband requested no ice in his caramel machiatto, planning to simply place it in the fridge and drink it the following morning. Janna met us at the window and took the time to ask why we may have asked for no ice and proceeded to make his drink, but seperate out each component for him to mix the following morning. She was kind, understanding, and went above and beyond to service us. This moment may not have been nothing more than a blip in her day, but she provided true CUSTOMER SERVICE by anticipating our needs and then meeting them, which is becoming increasingly harder to come across. She deserves to be recognized for slowing down, understanding our needs, meeting them, and doing it all with a smile and pleasant attitude. Thank you!!“

Instead, these absolute legends said “nah” and casually disappeared to the back like they were about to perform surgery—only to return with a FRESH BUCKET of ice cream like they had just churned it with love, dedication, and possibly magic.
