This most recent visit I tried a double smashburger with smash peppers, spicy chopped cheese, and onion rings. The burger was probably the best smashburger I ever had, the beef and bun tasted really fresh, burger patties were crispy and seasoned, and the sauce went really well with it. The chopped cheese was really good, and onion rings were crispy, hot, and seasoned. Highly recommend this place. Everything I've had there is good.“

Very unique to have boneless breast thighs wing and leg portions battered and fried. Was very good. I just think the sauces were way to pricey at $1.45 a sauce wow even 99 cents seems a lot but would feel better lol. At least give one with the order or reduce the sauce price. But overall they need to spread this concept into more areas for sure out side like in the suburbs“

I visited Chicago for about a week and tried plenty of restaurants in that time - from carts to michelin starred. I have to say that in my entire stay, the Art of Chicken takes the prize for my favorite meal.

They absolutely killed the pulled chicken sandwich and Mac n cheese (be sure to add their sauce to it)!!

While I was the only guest at the time, Mr. Christian behind the register made the effort to strike up convo and ensure that the hospitality was the icing on the cake.

“We tried Byrd’s Hot Chicken in Skokie and it was absolutely worth it! We ordered the Byrd Bomb (crispy tenders with cheese, slaw, 24 karat sauce, pickles on bread and hot toast) and it was packed with flavor. The hot chicken sandwich was juicy and had the perfect kick, while the crispy Byrd wrap was a great twist with amazing crunch. But the spicy fried chicken was less spicy than other locations that I have tried. It tastes like just fried chicken. So it wasn’t bad just not spicy at all. So don’t expect it to be spicy but it’s still good anyway if you're dripping with the sauce. Palabok was my favorite one. The atmosphere is quiet and easy to talk in. All the places are clean and the staff are very nice. Some items online were unavailable but I recommend to check with them because they have it, it's just not on the menu online. There are plenty of parking spots too and a drive-thru option.“
