He was attentive friendly and made our experience great! I will come back 100% for sure!!! I will ask for Caleb for sure! It’s the person that serves you at restaurants that make the experience enjoyable and make you want to come again. Thank you Caleb!“

I felt as though I was eating brunch at my Abuelita’s home. Thank you Samantha and family for the warm welcome- the red chilaquiles and cafe de olla we’re phenomenal and I will be sure to be back with my babies and husband! I mentioned to Samantha I was treating myself for my birthday and she brought out a cinnamon role with a candle meant the world to me!“

“I just love this little restaurant!! I have breakfast there at least once every time I visit family in Avondale. It’s cute, it’s clean and the staff are so friendly and inviting. The food never disappoints. Several options of eggs Benedict, French toasts, the whole lot. The omelets are huge. The staples are all just as tasty too. And the food cooks up fast. Today I had the house salmon eggs Benedict and it’s just a tasty as the first time I had it.Marlene was my waitress and she was just so kind and never let me water get below half full. “We just happened to catch the name Carabella on our way from doing some errands and decided to come back and visit the restaurant. To our surprise, this little hidden treasure is our favorite place to eat breakfast. The food is full of flavor, and we aim to try it all but not all at once, of course. Lol 😋It's become our favorite place to come for lunch as well. The other day, we had jibaritos, and they have made it even more delicious than any other place that we have ordered it before. The coquito coffee is so good, and the chicken waffles are just simply my fav. 😍 It's a must try for anyone who enjoys delicious food and great service. So much more, we still need to try. Skillets are so delicious filled with unique flavor, and don't forget to try the coquito latte creamy and smooth done to the last drop. “We had a large group just before lunchtime on a Saturday, and they were great about squeezing us in. Our server D was amazing, truly, and the other staff were helpful and attentive, too. The food was delicious, hot, fast, priced affordably. They have a large menu. We had some special diets in our group and there were enough options for them to find what they needed. I definitely would return and would recommend it to friends.“

“This restaurant is really outstanding and really great for the image of Evanston's southern end. The food is fantastic and I very much enjoy everything from the Bacon Temptation Omelette to the Spicy Poblano Omelette to the Crispy Chicken Sandwich to the Cowboy Burger. All of the food is fabulous and very well prepared, the variety is wonderful, and the coffee is always fresh. And above all, Ivan and the waitstaff provide customer service that's 'above and beyond' in every way. They're very kind, compassionate, efficient, and accomodating to everybody who comes into the establishment. Keep up the great work!“

Food was hearty and real, staff were friendly but not in a biz-card way. Kinda tight inside, but that’s part of the charm. Just wish it had a lil’ more seasoning. Total felt like under twenty bucks, which is solid.“

First time trying their food. I ordered the Honey Bacon Brussels Hash, it was delicious. Savory, a touch of spice just right. Salted Caramel Holey Donuts were good. Looking forward to trying more.“

“Stopped here for breakfast, 1st time and I would definitely recommend it. The service was excellent and the food was great (real, fresh, hot, cooked to order)! I had the sampler with oatmeal pancakes and they were delicious!!! My other options included the chicken avocado crepe and Mediterranean omelette. The coffee was good, it came to the table in its own thermal to stay hot. I highly recommend!!“

“I went here for the first time last weekend and it was great! It was busy, but we wanted a booth so we waited a couple minutes and one opened up. The interior is very cute and retro with lots of fun decor on the walls. I ordered the 2x2x2 and the pancakes were super thick and yummy, and the eggs were some of the best over medium I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. My brother got the patty melt with fries and the free cup of soup- what a steal! The server was friendly and prompt. My only slightly negative is that it was a little warm inside for my preference, but it was a super hot day when I visited. If I’m in the area, I will be back!“

You pay what you get and it’s worth every penny. Keep up the great work Alexander’s!! “I would like to send a shout out to our waitress, Sabrena! She made our trip to this restaurant an enjoyable one! She was very personable, constantly checked in to make sure we had whatever we needed, and had a great sense of humor! We will definitely be back - especially if we can be seated in her section again!“

“Food: I got a Gyro for the first time and it was good but was a lot of the same flavor, not much variance since the meat is all ground up. Probably just not for me personally. Pizza looked really good!
Service: the cashier we had was awesome and helped with recommendations for someone who has never been to Chicago or had Chicago food.
Atmosphere: loved the diner feel to the place!

Parking: Pretty small parking lot out front, fits maybe 10 cars.“
