It was our first time here and it seemed very family friendly. There is outside seating! The food was pretty good. I was there on a double date and everyone enjoyed themselves. “Came in with a friend who had never had boba before. The owner(?) recommended her a flavor and offered to make her a different kind if she didn't like it. She had brown sugar, I had taro, and my wife had a caramel latte boba. All were delicious! We also got the mini pancake bites which were fantastic. The owner(?) was super nice and gave us free water as well. If it wasn't a 40 minute drive for us we would be here all the time!“

“One of the best restaurants and a must try place. Food was authentic South Indian. We tried kothu parotta (yummy) and goat biryani. It was sufficient for two of us. Gulab Jamun was not fresh. Other than that, everything was excellent. I appreciate the team, especially the cook!“

“The pho broth, meat, and toppings were very generous and delicious. One issue was I ordered the chicken pho but found chunks of beef intestine and quail egg (?) in my soup, and my friend did too. This most recent visit I tried a double smashburger with smash peppers, spicy chopped cheese, and onion rings. The burger was probably the best smashburger I ever had, the beef and bun tasted really fresh, burger patties were crispy and seasoned, and the sauce went really well with it. The chopped cheese was really good, and onion rings were crispy, hot, and seasoned. Highly recommend this place. Everything I've had there is good.“

“I passed by this place all the time it's super low-key too, went there yesterday with my friends had me Sinberry sour ale I think, and I also had me the orange creamsicle hard seltzer, and I'm not a big fan of hard Seltzer's, but this orange creamsicle was outstandingly good, I never had me a hard Seltzer with so much flavor, and Sinberry was decent, but the aftertaste was amazing, the female bartender that was back there was very nice and very professional, she would always check if everything was good and that we had everything we needed, or if we needed anything more, overall good experience and good service, will definitely come back here with my friends if not myself to try the $14 testers“

“First time eating at Greenwood. The food was very good. We ordered calamari, which tasted unique in a good way, with the chopped marinated veggies. The beef filet was melt in your mouth tender. The only complaint is it was too salty. Brussels sprouts were also delicious.

The old fashion and manhattan were well made. It was a nice touch that the waiter asked us what bourbon or whiskey we wanted them made with.

We reserved in the dining room and the hostess could not find our reservation. We offered to show it to her, and she said no need , then put us at the very corner of the patio which was noisy, with uncomfortable chairs. For the first 15 min there was no one on the patio of in the restaurant. We couldn’t hear each other over the street traffic.

“I grew up on Super dawg and had to visit on my Chicagoland visit. I was staying closer to the Wheeling location in the Northwest suburbs. They have a true Chicago dog, with neon green relish, sport peppers and poopy seed bun. It was a treat to also find a pickled green tomato.

On the downside, hot dogs seemed smaller and definitely less crinkle fries, in. A smaller box. Perhaps next time I will order just the hot dog and a side of fries as a better value and more fries. They have more food options available for those that aren't into hot dogs. A nostalgic place to visit.

Parking: Plenty of parking at Wheeling location. Limited at Chicago/original location.“

The original bone-in chicken was absolutely incredible—perfectly crispy on the outside and unbelievably juicy on the inside.

“Staff is always friendly and answer any of your questions. The popsicles come in even more flavors than the already vast ice cream choices. Just beware that some of the popsicles taste icy or have weak flavor. The ones that have cream/milk inside are much better.“
