“Passed by this place 100 times and finally decided to give it a try. Kept it safe with my 1st time order and tried the chicken pad Thai and the crab Rangoon. It was amazing!! So flavorful it packed a punch in every bite! I got medium spicy and it was the perfect amount of heat, food was fresh and came fast, no long wait times. I will definitely be trying more of their menu! Pleasantly surprised, you have returning customer for life! Great Thai Restaurant in the neighborhood!!“

“I had this restaurant in my list to try for a very long time and was finally able to try with some friends. This restaurant is tucked in the food court of Park To Shop (formerly Assi plaza). I ordered the basil chicken with rice and it's delicious-definetly in my top places to have this dish! The ground chicken was flavorful and I got the spice level in mild (next time I will try it more spicy). I do wish the portion size was larger but enough to keep you content. The price is fair for the dish! The food came quickly and the staff gives you a device that alerts you to pick up your food. Overall the environment needs a little more maintenance and up keep. The staff was okay-there were a few instances where she was rude when we were ordering our food and asking questions. Overall, I will definitely come again when in the area and order take out!“

“This is my new favorite Thai restaurant. It's a small family owned restaurant which makes me even happier to support them. The food is delicious and they are warm and welcoming. They also have the vegan options very clearly marked, which I appreciate“

“We went for lunch and ordered the green curry and the yellow curry. Both tastes spicy and sweet of coconut milk. I chose medium spicy, but it’s quite spicy for me. The other one chose hot spicy and it was hard to finish it because it was too spicy.

Taste was good and the price is reasonable, so I’d like to visit there again, but I recommend to choose less spicy..“

I ordered the Red Curry Chicken for takeout and it was outstanding. The curry had a rich, creamy coconut base with just the right kick of heat, and the chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. The vegetables were fresh and still had a nice crunch, and the portion size was generous enough for leftovers. Even after the drive home, the food stayed hot and flavorful. I’ll definitely be ordering this again! and most of it it’s Halal. Will def be back. Tysm!“

“I got the lunch special Kung pao it came with an appetizer which I chose veggie rolls (2) they was too good that I forgot to take a Pic of them. The Kung pan is amazing fresh and with savory flavor. Definitely going back to try other items on the menu.“

“Excellent Thai food. We had the Moo Ping as an appetizer. The pork was so tender and the sauce was delightfully sweet. We had the Drunken Noodles with chicken and Holy Chili with chicken. Both were delicious and the portions were just right. We dined in and there were sadly only a few tables for a Saturday night but it seemed like a lot of take out orders. The service was fast. We will definitely dine in or take out from here again.“

Walked in without a resy on a busy Friday night and was really impressed with the service. We were seated right away with a group of 3 adults and a baby. All of the servers were incredibly friendly, and even though the restaurant was packed, they were attentive, efficient, and friendly the whole time.

The grilled beef salad was a bit of a letdown—the portion of beef was pretty small, and it came out dry without that flavorful char you usually expect. The pad thai leaned sweeter than what I’m used to, but the noodles themselves had a great texture.

The standout was definitely the spicy fried rice—really well-balanced flavor and perfect texture. We also asked for chili sauce and were given two different kinds, both of which were amazing and added a lot to the meal.

Overall, I’d come back for the great service and decent Thai food!“

“A few years ago I didn’t know about this place but my sister recommended it. Now my family and I order pick up 1 or 2 times each month. The owners and staff are always super nice and the food is fantastic. I recommend supporting this local Des Plaines business. It’s two doors down from the new Giuseppe‘s location for reference“

One of the best Thai food places in the area with staff that is really friendly complete with a cozy dine in area with BYOB option for a fun night out with friends or family. I am a long time native of the area and have seen restaurants come and go and I have to say I am so pleased that Nan and her family's restaurant is a mainstay . It is important to support local business and I am proud to give a shout out to one of my favorite places to eat in the area. The green curry is one of my favorite. Amazing Pad Se Ew, sauce is great, broccolis are not overcooked as they should be, allowing the extra crunch factor instead of a completely soft vegetable.
Wonderful chicken satay paired with peanut sauce and a dish of cucumbers, a good combination.
The Pad Thai was delicious, portion was plenty for me. Spiciness well suited my taste.

“I am not local, this is a regular go-to place for a friend, so when I visit with her, she wants to bring me. I had a Chinese Eggplant with chicken dish, flavorful and spicy. Also had some nigiri sushi, all very good. The Black Tobiko was plentiful and fresh. The Tamago and Inari, which are types of sushi that are deceptively simple seeming but really show a chef's knowledge and artistry, were excellent. I'm sure I will go again.“

“Over 20 years ago I started eating at their original Lincoln Park location. Today, their delicious food keeps me coming back time after time. It helps that the restaurant is staffed by the nicest people in the world. When I call for pickup they know my order (lad nar with chicken and Japanese gyoza) and they have it ready in ten minutes. Everything on the menu is consistently amazing. The tom yum and tom kha soups are both incredible—packed with flavor and always hit the spot. The cucumber salad is super fresh, the pad see ew is done perfectly, and the lime chicken is one of my go-to favorites.

And you have to finish with the mango sticky rice—it’s so good.

Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything here. It’s one of those places where everything is just consistently great every single time. One of my longtime favorites.“
