“Gpay didn't work and I had no physical card. After trying the Gpay several times, I gave up. The manager asked for the drink I was drinking back, lol. I got in the car, saw my wallet in the seat and decided not to go back in. I drove out of my way to try this food, but this experience with being asked for the drink back was shocking. #theapartmentlady“

“Chi Tea is my absolute favorite spot near Loyola! Their taro boba is perfectly creamy, not too sweet, and the tapioca pearls are always fresh. I usually grab the Big Bird sandwich too—it’s huge, juicy, and filling enough to last me through classes. The staff is friendly and it’s such a nice break from the usual campus food.“

“This place was SO good. We got Fry N Chicken to go and it was still hot and crispy when we got home. The chicken was super crunchy but juicy inside and actually seasoned really well, not bland at all. You can tell it’s fresh.

The fries were also really good crispy, not greasy, and nicely seasoned. Portions were solid and it definitely felt worth it.

Honestly, it reminded me of Raising Cane’s in Dubai. Not a lot of fried chicken spots around here are actually yummy, but this one really is. We were impressed and will for sure be coming back. 🍗🍟“

“Ironically I ran into the owner during a Lyft ride and he was my driver. So two weeks later I try the food and it's out of this world. He specifically told me he uses the finest, freshest, high quality ingredients-which is apparent when you try the food. No seed oils here either! “Today was the first time I have ever Ben in a Portillo’s Restaurant, first time I have ever had an Italian beef sandwich. I have a Lotta friends in Fort Myers who go all the way to Tampa to get this sandwich and they continue to tell me how good it is. So this evening we decided to go to Portillo since I was visiting on my grandkids and my daughter and son-in-law, I really enjoyed that Italian beef sandwich. There are a lot of other good things on the menu, but that was what I was there for. Unfortunately, they do not have a Portillo’s Station FortnMyer Florida. I can only hope that one day they will build it there.“

I've been to 'em all on the north side - Lerner's, the Ranch,' the Pit, Sammy Skobel's, Wolfy's, Fluky's, Dear Franks', Michaels, Stashes, Mutt and Jeff's, Shmendels, and all of the Irvings. ALL of them. Little Island stands right up there. What they do have that is the best in Cook County are their fries. Best ever. They don't travel well, so have them there. Grilled polish is outstanding. And NEVER, EVER, EVER order a dog or a Polishj with anything red - ketchup OR tomato. Two stars for atmosphere - if that's important to you, go to Portillo's.“

Their menu is exceptionally limited however there’s literally only a handful of things, chicken fingers and chicken sandwich sandwiches, and only one option of a sauce. The sauce is really good, but they should have another option like maybe honey mustard there sauce taste a little bit like thousand island dressing or maybe Russian dressing. The business is exceptionally popular with young people because the business is really good at social media marketing. Also, the business seems to be really good at getting popular sports figures to be in their commercial which does help them a lot. The indoor atmosphere is a little bit quirky, a little bit cool and I like it. Their fries are adequate nothing special to say the least if they could, if I would recommend they improve anything to go further they definitely need to improve their fries but again their check-in to fingers is five stars. I don’t know how many times a year I could eat year because the menu is so very very limited.“

“Usually order take out or delivery from this place & it’s great. Really like that this place is open pretty late. Honestly the canes sauce is literally what makes everything taste great. I don’t think canes would actually taste that great if it weren’t for the raising canes sauce. With that said the bread is absolutely delicious idk how they make it but I always order an extra 2. The combo with the chicken, bread & fries always seems to hit the spot! Would definitely recommend to someone thats never had it but always make sure to get extra sauce!“

Not only do they keep their food fresh and delicious. They also have the most experienced workers I’ve ever seen, working here for over 2 decades each and every one of them. Making sure everyone gets the proper preparations for their food. Would 100% recommend anyone who is either visiting Chicago, or hasn’t tried this place. Irving’s does it like no one else simply because of experience and also knowing almost all there costumers personally. Not to mention they’ve been open for over 50 years now! Chick fil A restaurant are known for their hospitality but Alex and Tammy who took and filled our order went above and beyond duty to make us feel welcome. My daughter was overjoyed at how delicious her vanilla ice coffee tasted and appreciated Tammy's offer to adjust flavor if it was not to her liking.
