“The largest of the BlackBerry Market installations and the one I gravitate towards the most; while both the Glen Ellyn and LaGrange locations are charming, the Oak Brook building is more impressive, with higher ceilings, a gorgeous amount of light due to the ample windows, and a great mix of different seating options. I’ve been to BlackBerry market to simply grab a quick bite after running errands in the area, but I’ve also come here with a larger group of friends for relaxed brunch. No matter the occasion, I’ve never been disappointed with the food! It hits every time— my special shoutout goes to the Italian Wedding Soup, as well as the Chicken Avocado Club! I always gravitate towards those dishes and they never let me down.“

The store is too small and it’s confuse because there are two lines, one for order and one for pickup, because of the size of the store it’s kind a mess“

I noticed the manager was on top of having all products fresh and ready to serve to customers, and the ladies working on the floor made me feel comfortable in selecting a freshly baked pretzel.“

“I was waiting for my cookies when I observed a worker who was rolling dough. She stepped away from the dough table, and went on her personal phone, then immediately went back to touching the dough. Wearing the same pair of gloves the entire time. I made a comment that she should probably switch gloves if she is going to touch her personal phone and then peoples food. Just wanted to be sure it doesn’t happen again. That’s gross.“

“My grandpa ordered cookies from The Cookie Garden for my grandma and mom every Valentine’s day for as long as I can remember. After he passed away last summer, my sister and I decided to keep the tradition going and surprise them. They both had flavor preferences and I was unable to remember them. I emailed them to see if they’d be able to look up his past orders. I received a response the next morning from Jeannie and she was able to find the past orders and told me the flavors he usually order them. She remembered my grandpa and had planned on calling to check-in with him, since she was expecting his order this year. The shipping was fast and the cookies arrived on the day I requested, they were also able to accommodate to their flavor preferences. The cookies were amazing as usual and my grandma and mom were surprised when they found out who sent them. Thank you so much to Jeannie and The Cookie Garden! 💕“

“came upon this place when we arrived at the Ronald Mc Donald house in Hines. we were met by Joana who made us feel so welcome and we felt right at home. we had to go back before we went home to meet her again. “Our family absolutely loves Bb's donuts! We do miss being able to go inside the donut shop. So many wonderful memories taking our little girl there to eat donuts and read a book or two. We have a little boy with Autism and it's not safe for him to sit in front by the busy street because he runs. Sure, but you’re guaranteed your value if you order their chicken Parmesan style sandwhich. The Coppola. They filled this thing with a solid amount of chicken filets and it was delicious. I eat a lot and was only able to down half of it. Saved the rest for later so it provided me 2 meals. I think it’s a little silly that it’s one of the cheaper sandwiches considering it’s bigger. The only negative to my experience here was the fact that this is being ran out of the side of Il Poggiolos bar. The entrance door looks legitimate but once u enter it’s very tight and uncomfortable especially when Poggiolo is packed. Other than that I definitely recommend checking this place out!“

“What a lovely place and decorated so cute. The owners were so inviting and welcoming! We asked a lot of questions since it was our first time. Everything is homemade. The coffee was spot on, strong how we like it. The wildberry strudel was amazing. We also had the the feta and spinach spanakopita, it was delish. A great atmosphere. I'm still very impressed with how responsive the owner, Norma, was to my emails and appreciate how thoughtful she was. She asked if I wanted to include a personal message to my sisters and brother-in-law, and I found out today that all of them really enjoyed the cupcakes. I can only imagine how hard it must be for small businesses like this one during these unprecedented times, but I'm glad that I was able to surprise my sisters and support them at the same time.
