“The service was fantastic the day I was there 2/13/26. Ordered in person. Ordered rangoon, pot stickers, fried rice, chicken fried rice bowl (with specific vegetables only) side of noodles, extra side of fried rice and was all cooked great!! The order took about 10-12 minutes which is exactly what they said when I ordered it. Very nice staff. Would order again from this location.“

“We Doordashed the bacon and egg sammy for lunch and we were so happy! The food was tasty and well seasoned. Kinda regretting not springing for the hash patty.
If the food is this good for delivery, I can only imagine what it's like totally fresh! Highly recommend!“

“I ordered online, but will give 5-stars for atmosphere because of the cute note that came with my order. :)
I got the small grilled orange chicken bowl with a side of pork dumplings - there was enough food for two meals, so I'll get to enjoy it again tomorrow. Everything was amazing - the rice, the grilled chicken, the salad and the dumplings! Will definitely order from here again.“
“Amazing food & great service, definitely will be back. We ordered the manti (highly recommend), the mampar soup (my fave thing), the boso lagman (meat was absolutely *perfect*), and the plov. Came for Iftar where they provided complimentary water bottles, dates, watermelon, & bread. The food was so good we almost forgot maghrib.“

“Oh My Crab is a must-visit for any seafood lover! The food is absolutely delicious—the Cajun seafood boils are packed with flavor, and the garlic noodles are a standout. Everything from the snow crab to the shrimp is fresh and cooked to perfection.
Beyond the food, the service is excellent; the staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. The restaurant itself is impressively clean and well-maintained, including the facilities, which makes for a very comfortable dining environment. Whether you're there for a family night or a casual hangout, it's a 10/10 experience!“

“Visited for the first time over the weekend. Had a wonderful time, loved the large varied menu, loved the food, loved my drinks, and really loved the performance by Denny Diamond! Three of us in our group and we can’t wait to return! Ordered many food and drink items from the menu because we were all trying the food for the first time and between the three of us, every item was a hit, with no misses. Will be back in August for Denny Diamond’s next performance!“

“the food is always incredible, perfectly light and filling at the same time! The crispy chicken aioli baowich always wins and the creative baonuts hit the sweet tooth without knocking it out. I cant recommend this place enough, amd so far I've only done delivery! huge soft spot for being the first bit of food I was able to keep down and enjoy on a very sick day. THANK YOU FOR AWESOME, COMFORTING, DELICIOUS FOOD!“

“The bowl customizable add-on options are AMAZING. Everything tasted fresh even though I went in pretty late at night. Plus the bowl is plenty food, you could probably split it into 2 meals! Only complaint is that the chicken I got was slightly dry.“

“My husband and I stopped into NoodleBird while visiting Logan Square, and we’re so glad we did. Everything we ate and drank was absolutely delicious. The Pork & Ginger Dumplings, Charcoal Chicken, and Ginger Lemon & Turmeric Soda were all standouts and definitely worth ordering. I also loved the thoughtful detail of the owner’s grandparents’ photos on the bathroom doors. It was such a sweet, personal touch. We’re already looking forward to eating here again the next time we’re in Chicago.“

“I loved “Perilla” …Please do not think of this as your typical Korean BQ grill/Restaurant. This is the most excellent Korean BQ restaurant I have ever been in and I have been in quite few over the years both in Korea back in the day and in the USA…Tomba⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“This place is awesome! We went for a girls night and enjoyed the whole hotpot experience! The lamb is halal here, so we were happy to have a meat option. However, the veggie broth itself is so flavorful—having just veggies would have been just fine! By the end of the night we were drinking cups of the broth, because of how flavorful it was!! If you like spicy, definitely get the spicy broth! You won’t regret it. Appreciated how clean the place was—the staff were great about checking in and refilling the broth regularly! Will definitely be going back for more!!“

“Our Saturday lunch at Rice’N Bread was great. They have a tight menu of Korean and Western diner style food. We had the Buldak and Spicy Yang Nyum Chicken that were generous portions with rice and coleslaw and very tasty. Efficient service. Well priced. The washroom situation is a little different, walking through the tight kitchen. There is a liquor store next door for BYOB. A great find in the neighborhood. No frills, just good authentic food.“

“This place is such a wonderful dining spot for a girls’ night out! From the moment we walked in, our waitress greeted us with such genuine delight. She was warm, friendly, and set such a positive tone for the evening.
Then came Carlos, who completely elevated our experience. He was attentive, understanding, and incredibly talented. I can be pretty particular with food, and when I told him exactly how I like my salmon, he went above and beyond. The result was even better than I expected! The flavors were perfect, the presentation was beautiful, and his service was outstanding from start to finish.
Between the amazing food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the exceptional service from both our waitress and Carlos, we felt so comfortable and well taken care of. This spot is definitely a must-visit if you want great food and even greater service!“

“It was the March of the slow melt in River Grove, when the last stubborn ice clung to the curbs like a defeated army refusing to surrender, and the wind off the lake still carried the bite of winter even as the sun began its tentative return, that the craving struck me deep and unanswerable. The Outback carried me south through the familiar arteries of the Northwest Side—past the shuttered factories and the glow of corner bars—until I reached Silli Kori on Division Street, a small brick outpost glowing warm against the gray afternoon, its windows fogged with the breath of cooking and the promise of something older than memory.
I stepped inside and the air wrapped around me thick with lemongrass, galangal, and the faint smoke of charred chilies, a scent that rose like incense in a forgotten temple. The server brought the khao soi without ceremony: a deep bowl of golden curry broth, rich and unctuous, coconut milk tempered by the slow fire of turmeric and red paste, noodles coiled beneath like the roots of some ancient banyan. Tender chicken sank into the liquid heat and gave itself up willingly; crispy egg noodles rose above the surface in defiant golden tufts, half submerged, half defiant, catching the broth in their strands so that every bite was at once soft surrender and sharp crunch. The pickled mustard greens offered their tart bite, the shallots their quiet sting, the lime a sudden bright slash across the richness, and the chili oil—oh, the chili oil—floated in lazy red rings, promising fire without ever overwhelming the peace beneath.
I ate slowly, deliberately, the spoon moving through the broth like a blade through silk, and felt the cold that had lodged in my bones since January begin its long retreat. Each mouthful was a quiet insurrection against the gray days: the curry warm as a hearth fire in a northern hall, the noodles yielding yet substantial, the whole bowl carrying the weight of northern Thai hills and the slow simmer of patience. It was good—more than good; it was resolute, life-affirming, the kind of dish that makes a man believe the thaw will hold this time, that spring might actually arrive before the next polar vortex descends.
The Thai iced tea came alongside, poured over ice in a tall glass, orange-gold and sweetened just enough to cut the spice without cloying, condensed milk swirling lazy clouds through the amber like cream in old whiskey. I drank it slow, letting the sweetness linger on the tongue while the khao soi’s heat still bloomed in the throat, and for a moment the city outside—the traffic on Milwaukee, the salt-streaked cars, the endless gray—fell away, and there was only the bowl, the glass, the quiet hum of the restaurant, and the small, stubborn triumph of a meal well taken.
I have not yet returned to plunder the rest of the menu—the green papaya salad that must sing with lime and peanuts, the drunken noodles that promise fire and basil, the mango sticky rice that waits like treasure at the end of a long voyage—but the khao soi stands as covenant between cook and cold, a steaming shield against the siege of Chicago’s reluctant spring, the steadfast companion a man hungers for when the wind still howls and the body demands more than mere sustenance.
Ten stars out of five, though the heavens are miserly with such reckonings. I would sup it at the gates of Minas Tirith itself and fear no shadow on the long ride back to River Grove.

“Ive been here before for the sushi and yakisoba and enjoyed it. This time I got the teriyaki beef half veg half rice bowl but wouldn’t really recommend. It came with 3 pieces of vegetables. The beef was a bit chewy with a piece or two of gristle, and it was kinda drowned in teriyaki sauce. Most everything else i had from here was good, just wasnt as big a fan of this.“

“One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. A great selection of microbrews - everything from lagers to IPAs to porters to excellent NA beers. Not to mention - tremendous food. Have been several times but came for $1 wing night (went with lemon pepper butter) and had an excellent experience. Highly recommend!“

“one lower level than top japanese american cuisine. BUT better than most out there. I don’t mean that in a bad way. I would definitely still come here and explore other dishes they have and definitely order these again. My spiciness tolerance isn’t great (I think hot cheetos are spicy) With that being said the spicy miso and spicy beef were spicy like hot cheetos level to me. but so delicious! This Thai tea, one of the best I have had! Not too sweet! I like the music they played as well.“

“I stopped by Happy Lamb Hot Pot (Bridgeport) on a chilly evening with friends and it was exactly the kind of communal food experience that hits the spot when you want warmth, flavor, and a little celebration around the table. The thing that stands out right away is how fresh everything feels — from the thinly sliced meats (especially the lamb) to the crisp vegetables and bouncy noodles — and the broth options range from mild and savory to boldly spicy if you’re craving heat.
It’s a pick-your-own adventure sort of meal: you choose your broth base, pile your plate with meats, greens, mushrooms, tofu, and more, then cook it all right at the table in the simmering pot. Between generous portions and lots of little dipping sauces, every bite feels personalized and fun. The vibe inside is casual and lively — people chatting, laughing, juggling chopsticks, and swapping ingredients back and forth — so it feels less like a restaurant and more like a dinner party that just happens to have really good broth.
Service was prompt and helpful with suggestions on broths and sauces, which is nice if you’re new to hot pot. It’s not fancy, but it’s cozy, social, and delicious — perfect for a group outing or when you want a hands-on meal that keeps you warm from the inside out.“

“Beem coming here for maybe three years. We have been making this our go to choice for sushi and more frequently over the past year. We have eaten at the restaurant and picked up for takeaway. The food for the price is excellent. While we have not dined in a while they had BYOB which we liked for buying a sake or wine and bringing it. Seems like a family business and staff is prompt, helpful and attentive.“

“We were indifferent to Mora when it first opened several years ago. The food was ok but not great. We went back for the first time in years a few weeks ago and were absolutely delighted by everything. We returned on Sunday afternoon and continue to be bowled over inspite of the noisy laughter coming from a couple of women in a corner booth.“
