“Had a wonderful experience here today. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The garlic naan was soft and perfectly baked, the curry was rich and aromatic, and the appetizers were delicious with just the right amount of spice. The mango tree leche dessert was a perfect way to end the meal. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Definitely a place I would return to and recommend to anyone looking for great Indian food.“

“Great Authentic food,superb!“
“I have been dreaming of visiting Nadu in Chicago for so long, and our date night there finally blew us away! First things first: reservations are a must because this gem is wildly popular. From the moment we walked in, the service was a perfect 100/10. My husband was welcomed with champagne, and I got the most refreshing rose non-alcoholic drink—so elegant.
We chose the tasting menu, and every bite was a masterpiece. The papad with chutneys was divine, and that yogurt-based kanji drink was like a hug of flavor—earthy and comforting. The small plates were a dream: the vada pav took us straight to Mumbai, and the chili fish fry was bold and unforgettable. Then, for the big plates, the murg makhani was tender perfection, and the paneer dish was rich, nutty, and so vibrant.
And let me just say—the naan! I know it sounds wild, but their naan was life-changing. We had both the chili naan and garlic naan—crisp, airy, and just bursting with flavor. We also got a side of dal makhani, which once again blew us away. The whole evening was a symphony of tastes, and it all came together so beautifully.
I have to give the biggest round of applause to the chef and team who orchestrated this magical evening. Indian food can be so hard to master, especially in a city as diverse as Chicago—but they did it flawlessly. The combination of outstanding service, a stunning ambiance, and a menu that sings of India’s vibrant flavors—this is now my favorite restaurant in Chicago. Every dollar spent was a joy, and I will be shouting about Nadu to everyone I know. Go, and thank me later!“

“Amanda was an angel. We got to know her and she was really sweet her and the other tall worker were very quick on filling up our empty water cups. The food so good and fresh. Food came out very quickly. Despite being busy they managed to stay on top and tasks and keep the place clean. Good experience, will be back.“

“Nina's was an excellent value, and tasty - a place I will return to or order from in the future for Indian food. I've been enjoying indian food since I was a child in the 70's, and recently my elder greek aunt mentioned she knew about Nina's and wanted to try it. She's in her early 90's and I knew she had concern for flavors and overly hot spices, so I was initially anxious - yet the menu had many clear options and while I can tolerate medium heat in dishes, I was able to discern helpfully which dishes were significantly spiced and also find out if the spice was hot, or simply aromatic in descriptions - she tried the Goat Biryani and requested it not over-spiced. Portions were excellent, both for her dish and the Chicken Tikka Masala which my wife and I requested, which we stated we liked spice for. They accomplished our dishes well all around and accompanied with delicious crisp veg samosas filled with the usual lovely and tender filling - dipping sauces, garlic naan, and complimentry basmati rice with our tikka dishes. The little gulab jamuun donut balls in sweet sauce was a perfect desert at the end.
My aunt's goat biryani was very pleasantly spiced, not hot but still a nice medley of spice that accompanied the large and tasty pieces of goat - which really pleased my greek aunt and though she ate as much as she could, she still sent half of it home with me and my wife AND took some of it home with herself as left overs! As a standby, we orderded normal chai with cream and sugar and it was excellent, but they have a full bar and selections of indian beers and other beverages, as well as western sodas.
The ambiance as some have mentioned may need a little work, but it was nice tables inside, many two tops, but also enough to handle medium parties as well without rearrangement. Quiet inside, we could hear ourself talk and enjoy the gathering - and though some might feel an indian restaruant needs something like lowly played pleasant music -by and large Nina's cooking did the speaking and it would call us back.“

“Food was delicious and our waiter (Jaden) was friendly and attentive. We had the samosas to start, the fish basant, chicken makhani (my personal fav), and the side of yellow dal. Desert of the cheesecake was great as well. Plenty of left overs between 2 people. Will definitely be back!“

“Being an old Irishman, I wasn’t sure Indian food was an option for a family dinner. Adda Restaurant in Little Italy proved me wrong. They were kind and most helpful in choosing entrees. My family was excited and blown away with the flavors, the options, the spices and the quality of the chefs entrees. Thank you for your help and we will be sure to become regulars.“

“Had an amazing experience at Mughal The Biryani House! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The chicken lollipop was perfectly crispy and juicy, the biryani was aromatic and authentic, and the samosa chaat was just outstanding with the right balance of spice and freshness.
We also tried the butter naan with chili chicken, and it was one of the best combinations ever — soft, fresh naan paired with flavorful and spicy chili chicken. Even the drinks were refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly.
What made the experience even better was the customer service. The Kerala guy who helped us was extremely friendly, polite, and attentive throughout our visit. He had such a warm and welcoming attitude that it genuinely made us feel comfortable and valued as customers.
The food quality, taste, portions, and hospitality were all excellent. You can really tell they care about both the food and the customer experience. Definitely one of the best spots for Indian food in the area. I’ll absolutely be coming back again soon!“

“Highly recommend! Good food that 3 generations of Desi immigrants approve of, from those born in colonial India, to post partition Pakistanis, to American-Born little ones. Suits all palates.
All food was good but saag paneer in particular was the bomb. So was nihari (authentic!). Elachi chai was great , too. Very clean, down to the bathroom. Kind service.“

“Some of the best coffees and pastries in Chicago! Im always amazed by the creativity and thoughtfulness behind each of their curated items. From their breakfast sandwich, ube cookies, and well-crafted fusion pastries and dosas, this is exactly where to go to find unique flavors unlike any other bakery in Chicago. The staff and owners are the kindest and go above and beyond to ensure the best customer experience. I’ve already recommended to locals and tourists alike, and they were all blown away as expected! “This place is out of this world very kind people very smooth experience. The server in my opinion was humble, professional courteous we ordered for different dishes. I absolutely loved three the fourth one. I didn’t like it so much but other people in my meeting liked it. It was the one that I did not like so much was mango something but the ones that I liked myself a lot and I thought they were out of this world were the chicken that’s fried with onion the butter naan the Samosa and there is a Lam dish that’s a little bit spicy. Forgot the name of it, but I absolutely loved it.“
