“Went for early dinner tonight I had raw oysters for an appetizer! They were so fresh and tasted delicious. My boyfriend had the tortellini’s, my son had kid’s quesadillas, and I had 1/2 seafood chowder soup 1/2 salad. Everything tasted delicious. Our waitress I didn’t catch her name but she was awesome! We will definitely be back!“

“I had their lemonade, chicken bow tie soup, chicken strips, French fries. EXCELLENT!! Lemonade was tangy with just enough sweet. Soup was flavorful. “The wait staff is friendly and professional. The food is fast, hot, plentiful and delicious. The Friday fish tacos are great. We love the LaSalle salad, crispy and resh; the chicken stir fry, tender crisp and tasty; the chicken dumpling soup. we haven't had anything that we wouldn't reorder. This is a to-go-to restaurant when you want freshness, consistency and flavor.“

“Best place we stayed between Chicago and Grafton, IL! We were stuck at Starved Rock lock for around 5 hours. We didn't get through until after dark (9:30-ish). I called and amazingly enough a guy named Chuck answered the phone! He said our boat was a little big for anything they had available but he could put us at their fuel dock for the night. He waited until we got there around 11pm, helped us get tied up then invited us to the bar for drinks and even opened the kitchen and made us supper! Seriously the best place we stayed. Fun, clean, not pretentious, extremely accommodating, and super reasonable prices! Thank you South Shore Boat Club - and Chuck - for your help and amazing hospitality!!“

“Had a great meal with my wife. The Rootbeer is made in house and was the best Rootbeer I have tried. Very clean drink, not much carbonation, and served in a frozen mug. Onions Rings and Burgers were really good. Year long ice cream service as well. Reminds me of Super Dawg in Chicago.“
