“I've been wanting to go to this restaurant because I heard so much about it.So I had my son take me. The food was okay, very overpriced. they have a special from 3 to 6. The only way you find out is when you go in the bathroom and look at the wall, the advertisement. tacos are from $5-7 dollars. 😒“

“My husband and I went for dinner in restaurant and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious, and the best part was that the chef Sergio sent us a dessert he had created that day. “My 3rd time there and had the Chile Relleno dinner.,the Best I ever tasted!!! The sauce they are in is so delicious and the peppers are so fresh and made perfect! “I went here Sunday for lunch. The food and service was excellent. I had the steak and chorizo taco with rice and beans. Both tacos were filled with meat. Super good and filling. I highly recommend the apple pie. I got the dessert to go and it did not disappoint. It was the best apple pie I have ever had.“

“Unbelievably good. The desserts are what they're known for; they used to have knockoff chipotle hot food but recently they changed the menu and everything is AMAZING. Very well made and a very creative menu. Whenever i go in it's not crowded, and it should be. Best mexican food in tinley, and nobody has ice cream and so many different other treats to go with the hot menu.“

“It is heartwarming to see a family working hard and earning a living. It is take out only. We had the steak burrito and it was tasty and the meat was in generous portions and it was nice and hot on a cold rainy day. The prices are the best.$9.55 for a steak burrito is unbeatable. I highly recommend this place. Honest and hardworking folk.“

“The margaritas were outstanding. The food was excellent as well as the customer service. My only suggestion was that they should serve chips that aren’t so hard. I thought it first they were stale, but I think it’s just a type of chip they serve. They were a bit too hard for my liking.“

“This place is great! Definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere was so welcoming and the staff is really friendly. But OMG the food was fantastic!!! I ordered the Birria tacos with a side of rice and beans. I also ordered a steak burrito with a large Horchata. Everything was fresh and the meat was really tender. I also ordered a strawberry frozen margarita it was deliciously made with a patron sugar on the rim. And yes I ordered tacos to-go everything was just that good! And the pricing was decently fair. Definitely a place I’ll be bringing my spouse for date night and my bestfriend for girls night.“

Our food was everything from tacos, to steak, to seafood and it was all fabulous.
The waitress was one of the best parts of the night because she took care of us like she was trying to sell us a used Hyundai. I'd come back again just because she was awesome to us.“

“OMG! We found this place on a whim, looking for GF in Oak Lawn for last minute lunch options. Stumbled upon this GEM! I am no vegan, but the flavor profile is so spot on. Casandra was so amazing, putting together a random taco tray that was so delicious! And A+++ for presentation! Thank you Abuelita Coco, we will be back :)“

“Was at office next store saw they had tortas so asked if they did shrimp tortas as they also did shrimp burritos got that instead with avocado added.
Burrito was good, shrimp seemed cooked and fresh (although the first one I ate still had some shell or pieces of the tail on it, mistakes happen though.
Still was tasteful, bit heavy on cilantro but overall worth the 15 dollars or so I paid for it, would go back for sure.
Inside was nothing special but it was clean had decent seating for so small a space and they seemed to have lots of stuff to offer on the menu.“

“Food is very authentic, with large portions at a very inexpensive price. Could easily fill yourself on $10. The environment is nothing fancy, but the food is fantastic. Highly recommend if looking for quick and inexpensive Mexican food. Stop by whenever I'm in the area“

“We ordered from the Mama Maria’s catering menu for a small gathering of 10-12 ppl we were having. EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC! The gentleman who took my original inquiry was pleasant, helpful and explained everything in detail. The night of the order we were running behind schedule and I called to the restaurant to make the change with no problem. When I arrived to pick up the order they were so helpful and even carried the order out to my car without hesitation. The food was amazing! All my guests loved it and it was a big hit of the weekend. Plus everything was packaged so nicely and labeled clearly. It was an abundance of food and we will definitely be ordering again! Thanks Mama!“

“We have been coming to this little hidden Gem in the BP Gas Station for years. Most authentic food around town.
