“My wife and I stopped in at the Lake Zurich location this past Saturday, 1/11. We definitely loved the beer and the establishment. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They also had a great wood fire pizza food truck. I highly recommend Phase 3. We will definitely stop back in..“
“The best brewery around focused on traditional German and English beers like Bitter, Marzen and Maiboch.“
“Had an amazing time at Sundial. it was pretty sleepy when we showed up. But just an amazing selection of saisons and Ipas and lagers. Their spent blueberry saison was just great and reminds me a lot of Afterthought.
Our bartender Mike was amazingly warm and offered other options in the area for his guests. His love of beer and sandwiches was much appreciated. I am only sad that I live so far away from Barrington.
5 out of 5 stars, will come again.“
“Fibs is an IYKYK kind of spot. A nano-brewery tucked into an industrial spot with great beer, a full bar, tavern bites, and machinery for turned your loved one’s ashes into a diamond. You know just like all of those other breweries that you frequent…
The owners and staff are friendly and have a good sense of humor—exhibit A, the artwork in the bathroom.
Fibs is a great hang. Highly recommended.“
“Great beers (as usual). Tonight’s review is for the featured “food truck” experience the Counting Crow. Full disclosure, we have never tasted CC prior, although online it looks like they regularly service most of the top Independent craft brewers for some time throughout suburban Chicagoland. Given their excellent reviews, was excited to taste. Nope. Didn’t realize their posted 5-7 limited quantities meant exactly that. By 6:00 pm on a warm busy spring Friday evening, CC was already sold out of 2/3rds of their (flash heated on a table top griddle) menu of Pork belly tacos and Shrimp po’boys (on a Friday, in lent)? Which only left the many hungry to enjoy their signature chicken sandwich (original, medium spicy and extra spicy) served with chips. While the sourcing of their chicken breasts (decent size/texture meaty and fried well) was good, their temperature plated was lukewarm and underwhelming. Maybe a pop up on the patio isn’t the best way to promote your food, Idk. Not a fan and can’t recommend. Definitely won’t go out of my way to sample again“
“I’m from out of town and maybe stop here 3x a year and bartender always knows I want a BA beer and a Buffalo chicken pizza!!!!!“
“What a hidden gem that’s not so hidden anymore. Staff is beyond accommodating and beers are some of the best around with a ginormous selection. Patio is huge and everything is SUPER clean! Biker Dude Smash Burgers was there, went to a 90 wait within 15 mins of starting up…. Would’ve waited 9 hours and been worth it!!! Must visit if in the Chicago area 🍻“
“We used Buffalo Creek Brewing for a celebration of life for our brother. Owner Mike was very easy to work with and helpful in letting us view the event space upstairs several times to plan the event. The per-person price includes unlimited drinks, both from their large beer menu and a number of tasty non-alcoholic options. There's a large TV screen in the upstairs event room that we used to show pictures. A microphone let us tap into the sound system for speeches for the group. We were very pleased with how the event turned out and would use this space again for any similar event.“
