“My friend and I stopped in here today for the first time and went simply because it was highly rated on line. We couldn't have been more pleased! Al, the owner was friendly, hospitable and made a simple accommodation so that we didn't have to eat our meal in the car in the pkg lot. The staff was very nice and explained every topping and offering. Falafel was hot and fresh, taboueh salad was fantastic. Overall, food was excellent! Service was outstanding. Neither my friend or I live in the immediate area, but I would bypass several other similar restaurants to come back!“

“We come.here all of the time, and the food is.pricey but always good, so we come back. I love the Philly chicken sandwich and get cherry peppery relish added. The only issue we had today was, we went there specifically because we got a text that if you go there "today" for lunch you earn double points. So when we presented the double points to them, they wouldn't honor it. Pretty bogus since that's the reason why we went there and I spent 48.00+ on 3 regular subs, chips and drink.“

“I haven't been to Wendy's in a while and this was close by to where I was in the suburbs. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, the restaurant was clean and orderly. I enjoyed my food in a nice peaceful and clean environment and would definitely return if I'm in the neighborhood again. Recommended!“

“Tony's is hands-down the best Italian beef you'll find in the Chicagoland area. Customize it how you like with sweet or hot peppers, cheese (provolone, swiss, mozzarella, or American), red sauce, giardiniera, wet (dunked/dipped) or dry (why?).

You can also get a ton of other food like Iltaco pizza puffs (my fave, which I highly recommend trying if you never have - basically a deep fried tortilla-wrapped sausage pizza), meatball, chicken, steak, and fish sandwiches, Vienna Beef (the best) hot dogs, Polish sausage, gyros, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, tamales, BLTs, a variety of breakfast foods, deep fried appetizers, salads, and soft serve ice cream, shakes, and malts.

Seriously, this place is awesome. And if you're a tourist wanting a genuine Chicago foodie experience, you need to add it to your list.“

“We got fries and chicken and beef shawarma wraps. I will say they had unique spices that I did not expect from a shawarma place, reminiscent of desi food!

But the meat was extremely flavorful and be mindful these come in large portions, so don’t hesitate to share. Fries were amazing, perfectly crispy, salty, and a little garlicky. Not every place can do fries correctly! I recommend this place from among the many amazing shawarma spots in the area due to the unique spices and new options, like the bashka bun.

Interior and packaging were unexpected to be so strong based on the size of the place. Packaging reminds of a restaurant in the city! Interior also had a gelato stand when we went, which was surprising but welcome.

Vegetarian options: Falafel sandwiches, lots of vegetarian appetizers & sides.
