Their frozen custard is pretty good but I really enjoyed their banana shake. They have a good mix of Dr Pepper on the soda fountain most of the time.“

“Normally I LOVE this place ... not tonight. 45 mins in the drive through to get a cold burger handed to me , minus my concrete. She said she would go back and get it. Waited 10 more minutes , went inside , the line is out the door . Asked for my concrete, they handed me a completely melted cup of custard .... I asked for my money back. They had plenty of help , but no organization . They were all running around doing 2 or 3 different things , not organized at all, The manger was no where to be found .. I was told she was in the bathroom. When she finally came out , she had an I do nit really care what your complaint is attitude . I got my money back and left ... normally the food is hot and fresh, it takes a bit , but I have never seen such a mess as tonight !“

“We stopped on our way from WI to TX to see what all the fuss was about. A butter burger sounded mouth-wateringly delicious. Honestly, it was just a burger, but the crinkle fries were hot and crisp and salty, and the cheese curds were zesty and fresh. And I got a mini flavor of the day frozen custard, b/c apparently frozen custard is a big deal up here, and when in Rome… anyway it was scrumptious and I wanted to lick the cup clean.

Best part of this place was friendliness of staff. After being in Wisconsin and Chicago, it was nice to finally be in an area where people are nice and actually respond to you when you say something! Big difference between northern and southern Illinois. We felt like we were getting closer to home (Texas).“

“This is by far my favorite place to get lunch even with all of the other options in the Glen Carbon/Edwardsville area. I am in this establishment at least 3-4 times a week and while there are other options closer to my office in Maryville, I will make the drive not just based on the food but the service as well. “This is one of the best White Castles that I have ever been to. The customer service here is definitely on point, as they will take your order in a timely fashion and the food is always fresh and hot along with tasting juuuuust right! The dining room is very clean and well kept, as any restaurant should be. The restrooms were 90% right, as zip could use a bit of freshening up, but I have no complaints. I'm sure as soon as the employees have time it will be done, because they stay really busy near downtown and the Busch stadium location here. Go Cardinals! Thank you to the owners and employees for doing an excellent job of running this business correctly! My bacon cheese sliders, large (44 ounces!) chocolate milkshakes, mozzarella cheese sticks, and breakfast sliders were always absolutely perfect as far as the menu and fresh fast food guidelines state. “I pulled into the drive-thru at this Arby's location for a quick, hearty meal while out on the highway. The service was impressively fast, and the employee taking my order was incredibly cheerful and polite. I ordered the classic roast beef sandwich and a side of curly fries, and both arrived hot and fresh the beef was sliced thin and piled high, and the fries had that perfect, seasoned crunch. The only slight drawback was that they forgot to toss a few extra Arby's sauce packets into the bag, but the food itself was spot on for a quick and satisfying roadside lunch.“

“I clicked yes to recommending Cane's, but I wouldn't recommend an experience like I had today at this location. If I get out of my car and go inside to dine, I don't want my food served in styrofoam containers shoved in a plastic bag and handed to me. In addition, the French fries are typically a tad saltier than most other places, which is OK, but today they resembled candied orange slices they were so COVERED with salt. Not a stellar experience today. 😩“

Update on 5/4/26 - I literally purchase sandwiches at least 2-3 times a week if not 4. Same thing, Number 8, Sub Club Mike's Way with pickles. This location is closer to me than others but they are not consistent. This time the cheese and meat were cut so thin, I couldn't taste the cheese and the meat was lost amongst the bread and vegetables. At $12 a sandwich, this is disappointing yet again.

3/25/26 I purchase sandwiches from this shop almost weekly. Today, I received the most disappointing service. The guy with the red beard and hair made like I annoyed him because I didn’t want my Mike’s Hot Italian to be heated. He said you don’t want that then, you want the regular. I said no because I want the meats and everything I just don’t want it heated because I drive 25 minutes there and back home. He throws my sandwich together by the grill where I couldn’t see. Something told me to check my food before leaving. He didn’t add the pickles, onions, or mayo but gave me wilted lettuce and soft tomatoes. He threw the pickles on, I received a side cup of onions and mayo packets. Didn’t bother to cut my sandwich either. I felt disappointed and dismissed while others after me were treated pleasantly. I’ll spend my hard earned dollars elsewhere!“

“Went there to the Edwardsville IL location to dine in on Sunday with a friend. We were both almost done with our food when my friend noticed what was very clearly a pubic hair sitting neatly on the wrapper that his chicken sandwich was in. Absolutely disgusting“

“Went in today (6/24) around 2pm and had the most delightful experience I’ve ever had at any fast food store. The manager was direct and efficient, did their best to complete my orders to satisfaction, and was a well-spoken professional from the second I walked in to the second I walked out. It was the highlight of my day to see her effort in small talk with other customers— one customer being a sweet older woman. The manager asked if her sandwich was to her liking, in which she responded that it was so good it persuaded her to eat her second half. I must agree, the food was superb compared to subways closer to my home town. Everything tasted fresh and the building was respectively clean inside!“

I think something went wrong with how I ordered tho on the app, the app didnt show all the extras I wanted so my note related to olives and mayo for the pregnant lady lead to even more extra mayo and olives than expected but other things weren't extra and the app showed everything not updated to have the extra so and so stuff .... but the sandwhich was really good and made me happy and my son and the baby baking currently“
