“We read about Joe Doughnut Itasca and thought we would give it a try…pulled up to a Shell gas station?!? Wow we were pleasantly surprised. Can’t begin to say enough good things about this place…not gas station food, custom fresh made to your liking off their full menu. Doughnuts were great, flapjacks were outstanding. Great variety of coffee products - regular, cold brew, lattes etc. The staff were warm and friendly, making you feel at home and explaining the menu to you. Met the co-owner, wonderful lady with passion for this place. Can’t believe it has been open for over 2 years. Great kept little secret. Will be back to try more of the menu!“

“We've been to this location ballpark 4-5 times in 2 months since we found that there's a Vietnamese food place nearby! The ginger chicken bahn mi is superior, absolutely recommend with jalapenos! (They aren't too spicy, but they add a layer of delicious with the lemongrass chicken!) The fresh shrimp spring are also just delicious, the peanut sauce that comes with is a REALLY nice consistency I didn't know I needed- it's perfect for taking a bite, drizzling some into the roll, and having another bite. Most peanut sauces are more "dipping" sauces, this is way more brilliant. They also carry a sparkling yuzu and white peach drink by Moshi that is REALLY delightful, and perfect with the bahn mi.

My guy ordered the beef pho last time, and I tried it, and I wanted to steal it, but my chicken curry was also really good, so I definitely want to order these again! There's a few other locations around the area, but under a slightly different name, Lotus Banh Mi. Guy and I feel like the consistency between the 2 locations are excellent! HIGHLY recommend!

The atmosphere at this location is great, it's off the street, with parking just around the corner, and the location has a very comfortable, fresh, feeling. We're hoping to stop by for lunch one afternoon, get some things we haven't tried yet, and walk around the area some- there's a great park about a block away!

“What an adorable place!!! Eclectic , cozy look and vibe, they have pour over coffee which is what i chose, soooo good and really unique latte concoctions I have not seen anywhere else. There is a covered outdoor patio, with rocking chairs, a few chairs in front porch, ofcourse interior seating. Some standard tables and chairs but also couches and benches. The parking in back is tight. I recommend checking this place out if you want a different vibe than the usual Cafe.“

“My sister introduced me to this wonderful tea shop and I cannot recommend them enough. Their Earl Grey de la Crème blend changed my perception of the Leafy Noble and many of their other teas are just as scrumptious. Even non tea lovers can find something they like since the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and will find something for even the pickiest palate. If you are in the area, skip the Starbucks and venture here. It will be well worth your while.“

Jennifer was absolutely amazing—she took the time to explain the menu, offered great recommendations, and made sure we had the best experience. “Our favorite thing about Straw and Bubbles has to be their croffles, they’re absolutely delicious! We’ve tried all the flavors, and honestly, it’s hard to even pick a favorite because they’re all so good.

“I was actually referred to Dave by another person in the industry. He said to me "Dave is great. Go to him." Boy was he ever! Brought my machine in on Tuesday and it was ready by Thursday. The price was fair and the machine works great. I was exhausted and asked if he could make me a cup of coffee and he even happily made me a double espresso to go. He is a sweet, humble, good man. The facility is quite impressive too. I'm a fan!...and I forgot to say...Cafe Carioca is some of the best tasting espresso around.“

Today, I met a friend for coffee and I inquired about the iced horchata shaken expresso as it peaked my curiosity. But I wanted to stick with what I knew was sure fit - wasn't ready to chance it - so I ordered my usual. Shortly after sitting and chatting with my friend, the lovely barista walked over and handed me an iced horchata to try! I was most touched by her thoughtful gesture! Now that's customer service!
