McDonald's in Rockford

“Went through drive through, was having trouble with app, employee was perfectly timely both in letting me try and figure out my app issue, resolving problem and food was hot, crisp and fresh. Many thanks as I was picking up for family that can be quite particular.“

“Great McDonald's for Rockford. Generally fast in drive-thru and accurate with orders. The food is as expected, coffee was hot a long with the French fries.

We have used the front lobby to meet with folks to have great conversations. Friendly and fast!“

“Surprisingly a great experience at this Mikey D's. Food was freshly made to order. Tonya B, I think that was her name. She was courteous and polite. You can tell she takes her job seriously. “This McDonald's has some of the freshest food items in Rockford I haven't been yet where I had a cold order of fries, burgers, or anything that was supposed to be served hot and fresh. Even on their busiest days the line still moves quickly.“

“Vegetarian options: I don't believe there's any clearly marked vegetarian options, but as long as you're not vegan, there are generally employees that are willing to work with you to modify things so as to make it vegetarian for you. Vegan a little harder.

Dietary restrictions: If you do not have genuine necessity for dietary restrictions, please be kind to your food workers. When they very clearly recognize that you don't. If you don't bother to lie to them about being allergic and just tell them you don't like it, you don't want it on there and then they won't put it on there. When you lie about your allergies, you make people with allergies have a much harder time. Don't lie. Be kind, and they won't mind.

Fun tip : If you have something like diverticulitis or Crohn's and you want to enjoy a Big Mac or quarter pounder any of the buns that have seeds on them, request that they use two bottom buns. Most the time they'll do it

Kid-friendliness: Mcdonald's was made to get your money because of your kids lol

Wheelchair accessibility: Most locations will have an area that has an incline that reaches their parking lot. It is sometimes a little further out of the way than directly in front of the door, but there typically is one. corporate tends to require it, and if you do not see it, it is clearly marked whether or not they have the accessibility look for the wheelchair sign for the differently abled and you will know whether or not they have one somewhere along the sidewalk going up to their door.“

“Came through the drive thru and there was only 3 employees working this night but yet they were amazing and nice. Went to 2 other locations that same night that said was open 24 hrs and 11 th st had cones blocking the drive thru and wouldn't take any orders and the Harrison Ave location turned away 10 or more cars saying they were taking no more orders due to being short staffed. Waited in line for over 15 mins just to get turned away....the kishwaukee location had some of the nicest staff working that night“

“I filed a complaint about an iced caramel coffee I ordered there that didn't have any caramel flavoring. I hadn't take a drink until I was on my way home from the drive thru and didn't want to go all the way back to the restaurant. I rec'd a phone call from the manager Theresa about a day and a half later to solve my complaint. She offered to either give me a free iced coffee when I came in or she would mail a coupon for a free iced coffee. I think this is GREAT!!! I asked for the mailed coupon. I would recommend this location to everyone for the fast way they reached out and solved my complaint.“

“You know I generally hate Rockford and the lack of customer service even more so at fast food places. The gentleman with the locs who gave me my food was so polite and had great customer service. Food was fresh and hot also rare in Rockford . The woman who took my order was also great and got everything correct. First time in 5 years I had zero complaints I came home and told my husband how I was shocked at the great customer service. He immediately went into describing the same gentleman I was referring to and how he received the same experience. Which lead me to having to leave a review because it’s great to see there are people who take pride in what they do while carrying a good attitude.“

“I used the app to place my order. Waited a few minutes to be acknowledged at the drive thru. My server was friendly but my food was room temperature which was disappointing.

Parking: Though this location shares a lot with a convenience store, there is plenty of parking available at the attached parking lot.“

“Very pleasant experience, although I am bumping it down a star because it took a little longer to get our food after ordering it. Came to this McDonalds on January 20th. Ordered food on the kiosk and ended up being smoothly done. After we got to our seating, it took 15 minutes to get out food. Normally takes 7-10. Got our food and it looked great, and overall a good experience. (And yes, it has a playplace that looks good!)“

“Of all the McDonald’s in town. This is the best. They are not raising prices. The ice coffees are the best. The don’t lie to you. Bathroom is very clean. Friendly staff. Fresh fries!!! That’s a huge 5 stars. Many mcds seem to be sloppy on the food freshness. I’d drive the extra miles to this one any time.“
