“We were pleasantly surprised! However, on the website it says some locations have Semi-sweet chocolate chip cookies on Thursdays…if this location had those I’d be here every day. The milk chocolate was just okay, not the best because milk chocolate doesn’t balance out the cookie. That’s why crumbl chocolate chip is bad. Semi-sweet chips are always the better choice! Please bring them to Mt. Prospect! (Not sure why they wouldn’t just be on the menu in the first place and every day, not just Thursdays?) Thank you!“

“This is the best Japanese bakery around. I have been coming here for years. The bread is so delicious you can eat it by itself and it is also the perfect bread for sandwiches and even French Toast. I got there pretty early in the morning after opening just not sure how fresh the pastries are in the case after opening. Looks like some may have been sitting for some time. Did not ruin my experience though, I just got coffee.“

“We went there for the first time yesterday. The staff is really helpful and friendly. I got the apple slice, oatmeal cranberry cookies and a raspberry kolaczki. The apple slice and the oatmeal cookies were some of the best I’ve had in a while. I haven’t gotten around to the kolaczki yet but I’m sure it’s delicious as well“

“Stopped in for a first visit. Julianna was cleaning as we entered and immediately stopped to greet us. The display was bright and appetizing, offering a nice variety of baked treats. My partner chose gelato, but he was torn between a snack and their hot food items (which sounded very interesting to try)!!! Juliana had the heated patio nice and inviting, and she had great energy. We felt welcomed and eager to plan our next visit!! Five-star for sure!!“

I ordered through Sweet C’s website for a birthday and I was behind on ordering due to my kids being sick. Celia was extremely kind despite it being a last minute order that was 100% my fault.

She had 2 dozen cupcakes for me and they were delicious. Everyone loved them - from the adults to the kids at the party. I always order extra cupcakes to bring home in case I can’t sit down at the party and enjoy a cupcake. I only have 2 left over and now have to share with the kids?! Not happy. Next time I’m giving myself a 6 cupcake buffer instead of 4.

Very easy to communicate with, is on time for pick up the cupcakes and you can still upload a design like she had in store. 10/10 recommend. We went with chocolate cupcakes and a vanilla buttercream. The cupcake will so soft and the buttercream was perfectly fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness. Very well balanced cupcake.

The customer service and the cupcakes were both outstanding. Placing my cupcake order for my birthday today with a 1/2 dozen cookie kit for Halloween.

Dietary restrictions: Able to have some accommodations for dietary restrictions but like many bakeries, cross contamination can happen. She has an info section on this on her website.

I’m super picky with cakes, but these ones completely win me over—it’s not just how pretty they look, it’s the taste and texture too. The mango shortcake and red velvet are our faves and absolute must-tries, and the Kahlua is seriously amazing as well! I love that they sell by the slice so you can sample different ones and discover your favorite.“

After he passed away last summer, my sister and I decided to keep the tradition going and surprise them. They both had flavor preferences and I was unable to remember them. I received a response the next morning from Jeannie and she was able to find the past orders and told me the flavors he usually order them. She remembered my grandpa and had planned on calling to check-in with him, since she was expecting his order this year. The shipping was fast and the cookies arrived on the day I requested, they were also able to accommodate to their flavor preferences.
