“I decided to bring my better half out to dinner, and we couldn't have been in one of the best P.F. Changs And this place was the right choice. Isaac introduced himself. This guy was terrific, and you can tell when people love what they do. We asked questions about the menu, and he answered like he was the kitchen chef and bang, we ordered exactly and made the best decision and don't forget the dessert we decided to order the one with banana and the coconut ice cream it was one of the best deserts a must if you come here and my hat goes out to Isaac for excellent service.Love this place and highly recommendedParking: Plenty space“
“This was our first time here. It was very busy so we ate at the bar. What a treat! We had conversations with the two women behind the bar and learned a bit about Chinese alcohol and the Jasmine tea they serve. The food was wonderful. We had Wonton soup, hot and sour soup (the best I have ever had!), potstickers, Hunan beef, and garlic chicken. Everything came out of the kitchen quickly and hot! The food was plentiful and I had to pack most of my entree to go! The staff was very kind and attentive. What a wonderful dinner. I can't wait to come back to town to dine there again.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant was accessible.“
“Visited this place with a friend a few times in the past, one of the best Asian restaurants in the area. You can tell the eggrolls are fresh when you can taste the ingredients instead of grease, and the sweet and sour sauce (ask for home made, not packet)- I'd say both are fantastic.Never had a single bad meal here, food is fast, staff efficient and courteous, and you get a large amount of food for the price. While it *can* get more expensive, sharing meals cuts down on the cost, and the food IS worth it.Only complaint is parking is iffy, but between Johnnie's beef and the other lots you'll likely find something nearby...pulls you out of the experience abit, but the food is worth it.“
“Had a great experience my first time here. Food was delicious, portions were huge, and the service was phenomenal!! Service is what really stood out to me. Also they were very fast and gave a complimentary cookie and fortune cookie with the check. Highly recommended ! Try the combination rice can't go wrong.“
“If you read any of the reviews for Al's Drive In online, people have a ton of nostalgia for this place. I find nostalgia for a restaurant can play a negative role for those who don't have the association, but that wasn't the case for me who only ate here for the first time today. The Chicago dog and super taco were solid but the combination fried rice was the hero for me. Never thought l'd find this kind of wok hei flavor from a Chicago Red Hots institution in Maywood, IL that would remind me so much of the fried rice I grew up with at my Chinese immigrant family's restaurant in Arizona. Honestly just throw in some bean sprouts and you'd have a 1:1 copy. I may not have the same nostalgia that a lot of the usuals have with Al's, but that familiar taste of home is so present in every bite of this fried rice. I'm immediately transported to teenage me devouring a large combination fried rice at my own family's restaurant after working a full day's 12hr shift in the summer and immediately passing out in my bed when I got home. I wish I had started coming here sooner.“
“Probably the best Chow Fun I’ve had a in a long time. I had some last week and today I had to get some more. So good. Paired this with a mango smoothie. The Chow Fun I requested to be extra spicy with shrimp. Don’t miss this place. The fried rice is amazing as well. It’s as if they grill the rice or something. There’s a little char on it at times that makes it so addictive and delicious. Beware, one visit will not be enough. So darn good.“
“This is a great place for maki rolls... The service was very good. I love the fact you ordered your food and it came to the table fresh, great concept for buffet. Abit of advice go hungry and with more the 2 people for the buffet. Going back soon to try other foods for sure.“
“I've ordered from this place 4 times and it never disappoints! My 7yr old granddaughter came over so we ordered Chinese food from here today and she absolutely loved it! She said grandma why havnt we ordered this delicious food before ..lol I always get the Mongolian beef, egg rolls, crab Rangoon! Everthing is delicious!“
“Sooo fantastic! I asked for wonton soup..Korean wings & spring rolls. I'll say that I will be a FOREVER customer now..the wings were the BEST I've ever had,so crunchy and the seasoning was spot on~the flavor was mmmmMMmm also ,the soup tasted like it was JUST made.. i was really happy when i saw that i was given rice as well! ..most importantly for me, this food was REALLY clean and by that I mean -ingredients that were selected & prepared with intent..no "after taste" no grease..just delicious homemade honest food! Thank you!Parking: Wouldn't ever be an issue“
“Excellent service and sushi!! They served 22+ of us and were on top of it! Drinks, many different menu items and never missed a beat. Delicious sushi, sashimi and cooked items along great portion sizes. Awesome place and definitely returning!“
“This take out Chinese restaurant is so yummy. There dishes are freshly made. When they say spicy be careful you can have your spice level adjusted, just ask.Great crab ragoons and egg rolls. Kung pow is good and love the loew main.Friendly gentleman at front and answers phone. This place has been around for a long time for a reasonVery large portions.“
“We went there last night and got a take out order. I love Chinese food. This food is the best ! The staff is very friendly and polite . The food is so good that this is My go to restaurant when I’m in Elmhurst from now on. I am very delighted that we stopped in .“
“We have gone her so many times. This place never disappoints us. The ladies are super nice. Food is served fast. They also pack the left overs for you. They also have vegetarian options. They have these super delicious almond cookies they give along with the fortune cookies.Thr decorations inside are unique and give a nice cozy look.Occasionally there are free music shows. One night there was Rod Stewart. We didn’t know about him, but we checked later. He is a celebrity of sorts.“
“one of my favorite pan-asian spots in chicago! the food is always so delicious and fresh, i've gotten it delivered, picked it up, and sat in and every time it's fire. it seems to be family owned, as sometimes there are kids/teens taking my order or serving me, which I love supporting! very attentive and quick to bring the food. if you come, don't miss out on the smoothies. my girlfriend and I will sometimes even come just for the smoothies. they are made with fresh fruit that you see them blend and make right in front of of you. they are so good! I come here pretty often, and highly recommend.“
“20 February 2024 on vacation from MI. While staying in a hotel, less than 2 miles away, I had a taste for Chinese. I google, searched for some tasty authentic chinese food. Happy I came across Hoa-My. The food was surprisingly good. I had the dinner special shrimp in garlic sauce#12. I really liked the beef fried rice, very tasty. The owner was very friendly.“
“Food was good. Hit the spot. We had HK style chow mein with beef and it was good. Bbq pork fried rice was good. The pork flavor was subtle but tasty. Singapore style green beans were good. Cooked perfectly, wasn't undercooked with "chaulky" beans. Fresh! Peking duck was good. Not as fancy as some places but passsble and tasty. A few steps above Panda. Servers were good and attentive. Quality service.“
“Beef Peapods with onions were way too bland, slimmy and gelatinous; the whole family stunned. Everything else was perfect and with great portions! We loved the orange chicken, potsticker?, egg foo young and the beef fried rice was delicious.#“
“Great, fast dinner. Best dishes are Cantonese, but they make versions of Szechuan and Hunan specialties. Very good wonton soup, as you'd expect of their namesake. Did I mention fast. Carry out orders usually ready in 5-10 minutes. Nice to dine in or carry out.“
“A family run restaurant with great food and a friendly staff that makes you feel welcome. The appetizer are start to every meal. A selection of appetizer and splitting a main course is often enough for two.Dietary restrictions: The food is made to order and meets the personal needs.“
“My family loves Ho Ho! We've been ordering from here for over 20 years. Even my children enjoy the food now. It's exciting that they recently added new items to the menu. We've tried many noodle dishes, rice dishes, and appetizers. Ho Ho has one of the best hot sauces! We will continue to order from here a few times a month.“
“Songs has very good food and their their atmosphere is just a small little Chinese restaurant that has a lot of pictures of food on the walls like many others nothing exceptional but the food is good and that's what's important and it looks cleanVegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian but I do eat vegetarian dishes from time to time because of my health issues and they're very good you really don't need meat all the time to have a tasty filling mealParking: There are a lot of parking spots around because it there's not just one store it's like a strip area so there's plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: When you call or go in you're greeted very friendly and they're very nice to you and accommodating and they'll get your food out to you as soon as possible“
“Damn fine restaurant, probably the best Chinese food in glenview. Highly recommend. I got crab rangoons, spring rolls, spicy calamari and the sweet and sour fish. Food was authentic and delicious. Will definitely come againVegetarian options: Lots of tofu options“
“LOVE LOVE LOVE all their dishes!! Always enjoyEd their satays, roti canai and yam pot. Great place to bring friends and family to savor delicious food. Serving time may be a bit slow but their offerings are worth waiting and worth the drive. They even have Thai entrees and tiramisu desserts.“
“This charming Chinese restaurant features a menu focused on Sichuan spicy cuisine, and it did not disappoint. To start, I ordered the Sichuan spicy wontons, which were packed with flavor and had just the right amount of heat. For the main course, I tried the Sichuan spicy chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender, and the spicy sauce had a perfect balance of flavors. If you're a fan of Sichuan spicy food, I highly recommend visiting Asian Bistro. The food is authentic and flavorful, making it a must-try for anyone looking for a taste of traditional Chinese cuisine.“
“I got delivery (from delivery service, the restaurant doesn't deliver to des plaines) twice I love love the egg Foo young. Best I've had since moving to burbs 17 yr ago. Orange chicken very good Only complaint is the chix rice soup was chix, rice and about a spoon of broth. I was really needing the broth I'd like to visit the restaurant if I ever get that way w friends that drive“
“The people are nice and are working hard. I can tell. I stopped in on the way back from Chicago and I had the BEST avocado roll ever. The avocado was so fresh. I don't think you'll regret coming by when you need something easy to eat :)“
“This started as trying to find a back-up for Chinatown. WOW! This place is amazing... we call it "5 Minute" because that is what the lady first told me on the phone, and she wasn't kidding... for lunch, that is. Their Lunch Combos come with an egg roll, a bottle of water, a huge serving of shrimp fried rice, and your large order. I LOVE their Shrimp Kow, it is so flavorful, I'm sure anything China House makes is wonderful. Oh, best yet, you get all this for under $12. This is actually 3 meals for me, so I know you construction guys will have enough to eat here for lunch. Enjoy!“
“combination chow mein is always good. Beef with vegetables, salt and pepper smelt and pork chop are very good. their orange chicken needs improvement. The pho is good too although they need to provide addled housing and chili when they serve.“
“Always on point. Food is cooked as ordered. Though the pricing increased still decent amount of food.Vegetarian options: There are no vegetarian foods hereParking: Laramie is busy and the parking is one of those if you see a spot better grab it. I wouldn't suggest double parking in front of the restaurant becomes a clutterWheelchair accessibility: Access into store has a ramp and threshold. But there is no handicap parking spot“
“New favorite Restaurant ?I delivered for Uber when I came across this gem. Staff super sweet, very busy at check out side - I love that for them. The air smells soooo good. I decided to grab my mom and we sat down an hour later. The food didn’t take too long to come out. When we seen the portions, we were shocked. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. Staff gave us extra small plates so Mom and I traded a little of our meats just yummmyyy. Went to the restroom very pretty, updated and clean. They played music videos definitely a vibe. Different kinds of seating in the dinning area. We sat at a booth. We grabbed to go plates, I for sure ate the rest for lunch the next day and will be going again pretty soon.Order:Fried Rice Plate with Green Pepper Steak comes with an egg roll.Side of Crab Rangoon w/sauceFried Rice Plate with Orange Chicken also comes with an egg roll.“
“Great food & service. Their food is so delicious. My 5-year-old ordered 3 dishes & ate by himself. Definitely, kids will love this place. The Mayo Seau Shrimp is my favorite. My son loves the Jaengban-Jjajang & ordered it as non spicy.“
“I have been going to Chopstick Express for 8 years. The owner is very nice as he remembers his customers who frequently dine in, carry out, and have food delivered. The food is extremely fresh and always hot even if there is a wait time. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone as you want be disappointed.“
“We've been coming here for several years with a break also for several years because something changed and the good wasn't good. The last 3 yrs, this place has been amazing! There aren't a lot of good Chinese places around here so I am ecstatic this place exists and we eat here almost every week. Its our only chinese take out place now. Noodle dishes are great, rice, egg foo young, salt & pepper chicken, chicken wings, pot stickers. Really everything. We constantly try new dishes and they have all been good. If you've been here once and didn't like it, I recommend you try them again. Food is always done quickly too.“
“Back to Chicago after years, discovered this amazing place today! I have been transitioning/moving and had to eat out a lot lately. I don't often write reviews but this is truly the best meal I've had this year. I asked what's good, they said General Tso's chicken. Hands down the best variation of the dish I've ever had. the fried rice was delicious and the portions were enormous, I can put away some food and this delicious freshly made crispy yummyness was probably enough for 2 may be even 3 portions/meals. Oh I also had the best crab Rangoon ever, way too much food but I hadn't eaten all day. Needless to say at $12.96 for all that, I will be trying everything on the menu and probably write another review.Vegetarian options: I requested a vegetarian eggroll which they made fresh for me.“
“Food was great. Ate on location with colleagues first. Pass the taste test. Talked to Yan. She was very friendly and helpful with my catering questions. Ordered catering for 80 people. Delivery was on time. Food received great review. It was more than enough to feed 80. Will cater again in the future.“
“This is the best chicken fried rice I've ever had. It tastes so authentic, fresh, and delicious. My wife and I crave this rice. Their orange chicken is great also. That's all I've had, other than the chicken egg rolls, which are good, too. I love this place, and the service is great to amazing! Clean establishment, and I will return many, many times.“
“Really good place, fast delivery, fresh food!, egg rolls were fire big dawg. Really good place, fast delivery, fresh food!, egg rolls were fire big dawg. “Classic Chinese place in that it is a small storefront in a local strip mall. They do not deliver. The lady in charge was very nice to deal with and our order was ready as promised. We had Kung Pao and Sesame Chicken with a couple of egg rolls. Food was quite good and in "lunch for the next two days" quantity. We will be returning. It should also be noted that dine-in facilities are at an absolute minimum. Functionally, this is a take-out joint only. And that is okay.“
“First time ordering from here, and we'll definitely be back. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The Xtra Large size is no joke!!! We ordered an Xtra Large order of sweet and sour chicken, BBQ pork egg foo young lunch special, crab Rangoon and BBQ pork ribs. The sweet and sour chicken was a huge hit, my kids absolutely loved it. Light and crispy, and it didn't taste oily at all. Egg foo young lunch special was great, really liked the plain fried rice it came with. BBQ pork ribs were tasty, as were the rangoon. They stuff those crab rangoon very nicely!Kid-friendliness: My kids loved the foodDietary restrictions: Let them know if you have any allergies etc, they seem accommodating“
“Been coming here for some many times and the food always served hot fresh and fast..food tastes always amazing portion and prices reasonable..if you love wonton with noddles this is your place..serve with different topping your choice price varies..always serve hot“
“Ordered accidentally b/c this was on doordash and didn't realize it was a bit far from our Northbrook home and very happy we did! Everything was fresh and delicious. Asked for veggies to be added to the Shrimp lomein and rather than the load of cabbage and green peppers we get from other Chinese restaurants they added a nice mix of mushrooms, peapods and broccoli. Tasted like homemade noodles too! Egg foo young and other dishes were great as well. If they don't mind coming out this far - we don't mind ordering!“
“In order to get better Chinese BBQ at Chinatown prices you have to drive to Chinatown ??♂️. Specifically now the Kennedy expressway is under construction, Jason is it.The lunch plates with a little vegetable, some basic soup and a BBQ meat is about &10-$12. It isn’t a good value anymore. Tasty but not a good deal.Carry out only.“
“Such a welcoming place with amazing dishes. I have the kun pao shrimp, crab Rangoons, and shrimp fried rice. Everything was excellent. Perfect amount of spice in the Kung Pao. I'll be back! We loved it.Parking: I was able to find a spot close by.“
“I usually don’t have good experiences with small businesses, but this place was definitely what I expected!. My family and I went in and ordered the orange chicken, lo mein and white rice. The food was delicious. The lady there was really nice. It’s a good hidden spot I definitely recommend.“
“Really just a pickup or delivery place, has a dine in section of about 10 tables-booths but since covid dinning section seems sparse and uninviting. Fortunately delivery and pickup orders are ready and hot.Now the food...Really basic American Chinese fare. Egg rolls are plump and good, other appetizers are the usual suspects but done correctly. Entrees are again basic dishes if not inspiring are good. I like the fried rice, always seems moist with lots of meat. Vegetables dishes are good, nice selection of fresh veggies. So if you're new to the area or looking for some-pickup or delivery-standard American-Chinese food Lins mandarin just might fill your needs.Parking: Larger strip mall with many parking spaces.“
“This is korean style chinese restaurant. Its inside of mall so not recommended you to eat here when you dating with someone. ?But if you miss or want to try korean food i recommended here. ? foods are always great. If you are vegetarian there are only two options. Spicy noodle and mapo tofu.“
“Been coming here for years. Food is good. Nice size portions. Service is ok. Staff could be friendlier . Typical small dine in area not much to look at besides a fish tank with 2 fish and nothing else. But the important thing is good is pretty good.Vegetarian options: They offer dishes with tofu snd just veggies.“
“I moved into this neighborhood about a month ago, and since then, I've ordered from here four times, two pickup and two delivery.. I like to consider myself half of a connoisseur when it comes to Asian cuisine, so when I tell you this food is DELICIOUS, I am not lying.. the order is correct every time, it's always HOT and they give you very good portions.. and the ladies in the store and the delivery driver are always so friendly.. today, I called in and she saw my address and asked me how I was doing.. I know that seems trivial but 2023 has seen some insanely negative interactions in fast food establishments so maybe my expectations are lowered.. regardless, no need to lower anything at this location! Great food and great service.. ordering again next week lolPic is of the pepper steak with chicken fried rice lunch special.. total was just under $15 but I gave him a $20 :)“
“I have been going to Moon Temple for years because they are the best Chinese food around. I have yet to find one dish that I didn't like, the quality of everything is outstanding, and the quantity is plentiful! They have a friendly staff, and delivery which makes it even better if you can't get out.“
“It's better than other branches. But the lady got the wrong order. I ordered 2 bigger plates, but she gave me 2 plates. I didn't worry because I just needed to eat less. And when I got home and looked at the receipt, the extra payment was made because of the premium menu that I didn't order. Please be “
