“We always enjoy the food at Cracker Barrel. This past Saturday, we ate at the Shiloh, IL location. The service was terrible. Our waitress, Joya, stopped by our table to say she would be with us as soon as she finished with the table next to us. My husband & I knew what we wanted so when she took our order, we ordered our drinks and then told her we wanted an appetizer (loaded hashbrown tots) and we knew what we wanted for our meals. I ordered the cheesecake stuffed Pancakes and my husband ordered the steak & egg hashbrown casserole skillet meal. We got our drinks right away, and then waited about 20 minutes before she brought our meals out. When we asked about our appetizer, she said she was sorry and asked if we still wanted it. We said no. The skillet meal was missing the tomatoes & green onions on top and he was never asked if he wanted biscuits. She said she was sorry again and was "slacking in her duties". She brought out a tiny cup with about 3-4 pieces of tomato and a few pieces of onion. She still never offered biscuits. The couple next to us heard us talking about what we were missing & they got up & left before even getting their drinks. The couple behind us also had issues with items missing from their order because I saw them talking to her as she looked at her order book and then came back with food a few minutes later. We enjoy the food but may end up going to another location next time.“

“Golden Corral is a buffet so it is what it is. I wouldn't expect the atmosphere to be calm and peaceful, so, given the expected culture of such a restaurant it was actually well managed and maintained.
The steak was BETTER than I would've expected and the young man grilling and carving the meat was doing just fine at getting people what they wanted.

“A hidden gem. The food is always delicious. A must try for breakfast. The omelets are huge and could easily be shared. The pizza is delicious, my husband and I think their pizza is some of the best pizza around. They have a large selection of salad options for lunch and portion sizes are great. I have never had a bad meal here. My husband and I eat here 2 or 3 times a month, usually for a late breakfast or early lunch on Sunday and have always had a great experience.“

“Ordered turkey white bean chili, bbq sand on brioche (both daily specials), rosemary jalapeño fries, breakfast burrito to share. I sampled all and absolutely delish! Each item tasted extraordinary. I love this place because everything I order is made with carefully crafted flavors and texture—down to the salsa served on the side of burrito. It was homemade and fresh—not jarred. Burrito stuffed with eggs, chorizo, bacon, and more—ordered mine without potato. Smoky, not too spicy—YUM! BBQ was tender and tasty but chunky and not stringy—how delightful! Fries are always great and I must order every time I go. Chili had nice chunks of succulent turkey—you could see and taste the turkey. This place never disappoints and gets better every time I go.“

“The food is honestly borderlining on bland. Somehow even the jalapeños lack spice. It is like it was specifically designed for people who think black pepper is too spicy. “I went here last night, 1/3/25 with my boyfriend and we were pleasantly surprised! I always see the food advertised in the Lebanon fb page and it looked delicious. Lives up to the appeal. I had the Gasthaus but with Mac and cheese as a side and my boyfriend got the Brisket Loaded Fries. Both were delicious and really filled us up!“

“Normally I LOVE this place ... not tonight. 45 mins in the drive through to get a cold burger handed to me , minus my concrete. She said she would go back and get it. Waited 10 more minutes , went inside , the line is out the door . Asked for my concrete, they handed me a completely melted cup of custard .... I asked for my money back. They had plenty of help , but no organization . They were all running around doing 2 or 3 different things , not organized at all, The manger was no where to be found .. I was told she was in the bathroom. When she finally came out , she had an I do nit really care what your complaint is attitude . I got my money back and left ... normally the food is hot and fresh, it takes a bit , but I have never seen such a mess as tonight !“

“Food was phenomenal! HUGE portions! Great amount for the price. Literally had no complaints. The self service feature was so handy for us. As a large family we could just grab our own drinks, sauces, and everything at will. And you don't have to tip so you save money. Will be back every time I come to town!“

“My daughter and I ate at First Watch on January 25,2024, the food was good as always. So as we were leaving I went to pay and my daughter and granddaughter went to the car, my comes in and say mama I locked the keys in the car and my granddaughter is in there. She called O’Fallon police and so did one of the staff did as well. The police community service worker came out and tried unlocking the door for about 20 minutes, remind you my granddaughter is in there and it’s cold and raining. Next thing I know almost the whole staff came out and tried everything they can do because they seen we were out there for a long time. I finally got ahold of my insurance company and they sent someone out and they was able to unlock my door finally. Big shout out to the staff at First Watch for all your help, my daughter and I really appreciate you all ❤️“
