“I live literally across the street from the Dozelis* in South Chicago Heights and I will never go there due to the fact they have such HORRIBLE attitudeS AND ARE AS RUDE AS CAN BE! . Instead, I choose to go to the one on Joe. Or road in Chicago Heights because George and his whole crew are entirely AMAZING people! nd they make you want to come back over and over just because of their whole spirit and energy. They are the nicest people. You can come across, especially in the service industry nowadays. The fact that they are so giving of themselves and go above and beyond for their guests and customers. I can't even begin to tell you what a great place This is! Prices are decent, the food is ALWAYS HOT & DEEEELICIOUS! George and his crew GET THE JOB DONE!!!! GO TO THE 1 ON JOE ORE ROAD THEY WILL BE GLAD TO TAKE CARE OF YOU! Thank you for all that you are George! We need more people like you in this world!! ECSPECIALLY in food industry! “Was recommended this restaurant from a friend. The maple tree and did not disappoint. Made a reservation online easy. Their menu is awesome, simple and delicious. Crab cake was perfect! Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!“

“Doug was patient, cordial, very attentive. My mom, 96, has not been out for a meal in 5 yrs. Doug made this a pleasant experience for the 4 of us. “I went here Sunday for lunch. The food and service was excellent. I had the steak and chorizo taco with rice and beans. Both tacos were filled with meat. Super good and filling. I highly recommend the apple pie. I got the dessert to go and it did not disappoint. It was the best apple pie I have ever had.“

“Well, if they cook your food properly, it's not bad... however, if they don't and you need to send it back to cook it (not a fan of raw burgers 🤷‍♀️) and it comes back the same way... be prepared to not eat and pay for the meal anyway. I asked for it to be removed from our bill (over $100 total so not just a couple things) and they removed it after a small "fight" but literally charged us for a basket of fries cuz I ate a few fries off my plate, I guess. they don't take care of their mistakes nor do they care to make things right. Lost future business, everyone at the table was shocked.“

“I’ve seen a lot of good reviews about this spot and they did not disappoint at all. Very good pizza, to be honest some of the best I’ve had in this area. Perfect crust with good texture and bite with an amazing crunch at the end. Fresh toppings and perfectly browned cheese. Got a large sausage and pepperoni with half green pepper and onion and they load it up. The sauce is more of a savory sauce which pairs perfectly with the saltiness of the proteins and sweetness of the veggies. Will absolutely be back for more. 10/10 for me !!!!!“

“One of my favorite places to have a perfectly prepared dinner. The food never disappoints. Portions are large, so taking home enough for tomorrow's lunch is always possible. The service is really great. Most of the servers have been there for a long time so they know the menu well and are attentive without being obsessive. My favorite on the menu is the Tournedos of Beef. The sauce over them is wonderful.“

The food and drinks are great (obsessed with the lavender lemonade they make in the summer), the bar itself is very cool and historic and their outdoor patio is dog friendly. My husband has done the distillery tour for his bachelor party and thought it was really fun. Highly recommend!“

“We typically love it here. However, we had an easily avoidable issue yesterday. The app only allows the "call ahead" for up to 6. We had a party of 12. So, we called the location to ask if they could accommodate a party of 12. We kept getting placed on hold by 3 different employees only to be told they can't give a time estimate until we are physically there (15+minutes btw of employee after employee). Okay, we pack up and head there. After arriving we are told they can't even sit the 12 of us together and it's a 1.5 hour wait. What a WASTE of OUR time. I understand the wait is based on the customer traffic. But if you guys know you can't sit 12 together, TELL US OVER THE DAM PHONE!!!!!!“

“My husband and were at the ER across the street with my father after a car accident for hours. We realized we hadn’t eaten the whole day and were “starving”. We had a short amount of time to grab food, I realize picking a sushi restaurant isn’t the staffs problem that I am in a rush, but I let the server know that we were in a bit of a “time crunch” and would like to order our appetizers and entrees right away. Our server was extremely understanding and accommodating. The food came out so fast and was just as amazing as usual. Our server was clearly making a great effort to get us out quickly per our request. We left almost in shock of what a great experience and food we just had after a terrible day. I didn’t catch her name, but thank you very much.“

“I come here once a week. I normally get 2 bowls of soup and my boyfriend gets 1 in addition to the other food we get. Today I wasn’t feeling well and wanted to get our soup to go. They wouldn’t sell us more than 2 cups of soup. Thats very irritating considering the fact we get 3 bowls every weekend. I can go down the street and get a whole quart of soup from another breakfast place. I will continue to come here because I love the food and service from Rachel but they need to step it up for sure. Sometimes they don’t even have soup.“

“I went there for the first time. The vibe, service and food was great. my only issue was the automatic 18 percent gratuity. it was only two people who had one drink each, burgers and appetizer. Our bull was 89.00. Also we were not given an actual bill we were just told our bill was 89.00. I didn't appreciate that and have never experienced that before.“
