“Was recommended this restaurant from a friend. The maple tree and did not disappoint. Made a reservation online easy. Their menu is awesome, simple and delicious. Crab cake was perfect! Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!“

“Doug was patient, cordial, very attentive. My mom, 96, has not been out for a meal in 5 yrs. Doug made this a pleasant experience for the 4 of us. Comfortable sitting, great comfortable noise level, not crowded sitting( we had a wheelchair), food excellent. Pork shoulder outstanding. No stickiness on anything. Best day/meal ever! Thank u Doug“

“Mishkenut is our go-to when we want all the goodness of a slow-cooked, savory, healthy meal with the convenience of carry-out. The falafel is perfectly crispy, the hummus silky smooth (you can ask for it extra spicy!), pita warm and fluffy, shawarma seasoned to perfection, and Fatoosh salad with house dressing is light and tasty to balance everything. Plan ahead and call in your order with at least an hour of lead time. Dining in? Call ahead and don't sleep on the delicious hot tea with pine nuts to sip while you wait.“

“I went here Sunday for lunch. The food and service was excellent. I had the steak and chorizo taco with rice and beans. Both tacos were filled with meat. Super good and filling. I highly recommend the apple pie. I got the dessert to go and it did not disappoint. It was the best apple pie I have ever had.“

“It's my favorite breakfast restaurant. The food is great. I've never been disappointed with the service or the food. The one thing I would look into is the coffee. It's such a great place but the coffee is not so great. But that doesn't stop me from eating here. The food is delicious!“

“We typically love it here. However, we had an easily avoidable issue yesterday. The app only allows the "call ahead" for up to 6. We had a party of 12. So, we called the location to ask if they could accommodate a party of 12. We kept getting placed on hold by 3 different employees only to be told they can't give a time estimate until we are physically there (15+minutes btw of employee after employee). Okay, we pack up and head there. After arriving we are told they can't even sit the 12 of us together and it's a 1.5 hour wait. What a WASTE of OUR time. I understand the wait is based on the customer traffic. But if you guys know you can't sit 12 together, TELL US OVER THE DAM PHONE!!!!!!“

“We moved to this area and the only pizza spot we knew was Rosatis. Not no more. Tried this pizza for the first time. It was honestly the best pizza I had in YEARS. The cheese, the sauce, the crunchiness of the crust. 10000/10 we got half pepperoni/ half jalapeño. My new favorite pizza spot! Plus the best part was how your pizza comes in, not a traditional pizza box instead old school pizza paper idk if that’s the right way to say it but amazing.“

“Great value and even better service. Ordered the Indiana Skillet w/pancakes. It was enormous and delicious, served quickly, and the server was incredibly attentive and friendly. The server provided all of extras, as well; butters, jams, condiments, coffee creamers up front, and kept the coffees and water glasses full. Truly a great experience. I am looking forward to head back soon.“

“We ❤️ Thornton Distilling!! We come here regularly and I just realized I've never left a review encouraging others to check it out. The food and drinks are great (obsessed with the lavender lemonade they make in the summer), the bar itself is very cool and historic and their outdoor patio is dog friendly. My husband has done the distillery tour for his bachelor party and thought it was really fun. Highly recommend!“

“I went there for the first time. The vibe, service and food was great. my only issue was the automatic 18 percent gratuity. it was only two people who had one drink each, burgers and appetizer. Our bull was 89.00. Also we were not given an actual bill we were just told our bill was 89.00. I didn't appreciate that and have never experienced that before.“

“My husband and were at the ER across the street with my father after a car accident for hours. We realized we hadn’t eaten the whole day and were “starving”. We had a short amount of time to grab food, I realize picking a sushi restaurant isn’t the staffs problem that I am in a rush, but I let the server know that we were in a bit of a “time crunch” and would like to order our appetizers and entrees right away. Our server was extremely understanding and accommodating. The food came out so fast and was just as amazing as usual. Our server was clearly making a great effort to get us out quickly per our request. We left almost in shock of what a great experience and food we just had after a terrible day. I didn’t catch her name, but thank you very much.“

“I can't begin to explain how delicious everything was! For starters, I don't ever eat crab cakes but I tried them and they were DELISH! Next, I had the rolls. They were so good I didn't want to share! LOL! I had the salad with the balsamic vinegarette and it was so fresh and delish! For the main course, I had the Chicken Alfredo and it was FIRE!!!!! LOVED IT! Finally, I had the warm brownie dessert with Gelato and OMG it was soooo good!!! I honestly loved everything about this place from meeting Yvette (Owner and Executive Chef) to the ambiance and the food! I would give it 10 stars if I could! Can't wait to go back and take all of my friends!“

“This place is wonderful. I got the curry chicken, jumbo shrimp fried rice and egg rolls. Yummo .. plus last Christmas we did the Christmas Story and ordered lots of different foods. That was the best. So this year I'll be ordering food again for Christmas. Delicious ???

“I live literally across the street from the Dozelis* in South Chicago Heights and I will never go there due to the fact they have such HORRIBLE attitudeS AND ARE AS RUDE AS CAN BE! . Instead, I choose to go to the one on Joe. Or road in Chicago Heights because George and his whole crew are entirely AMAZING people! nd they make you want to come back over and over just because of their whole spirit and energy. They are the nicest people. You can come across, especially in the service industry nowadays. The fact that they are so giving of themselves and go above and beyond for their guests and customers. I can't even begin to tell you what a great place This is! Prices are decent, the food is ALWAYS HOT & DEEEELICIOUS! George and his crew GET THE JOB DONE!!!! GO TO THE 1 ON JOE ORE ROAD THEY WILL BE GLAD TO TAKE CARE OF YOU! Thank you for all that you are George! We need more people like you in this world!! ECSPECIALLY in food industry!
