“My sister and I recently drove from Pittsburgh to visit our Mom and Aunt Betty in Springfield. We stopped by Jamie’s Route 66 for some takeout pizza. Our Mom and Aunt loved it They aren’t mobile so getting out is difficult. My sister called to make a special request to celebrate my aunt’s 100th birthday. Jamie took them pizza personally. My aunt and mom can’t stop talking about Jamie and her special delivery. Thank you so much!!!! You made their day and ours.”

“we used to love this shop, has been declining in customer service for awhile, some what understand the hours changing, but when it's 20 minutes to close 6:40 pm and refuse to make a sandwich? Thanks good run from us, but will no longer give our business to you”

“What's not to love about this place? It's excellent & delicious, and the service is top notch! We've been to other restaurants and none can hold a candle to New China. Don't go to nasty buffets that are full of contaminated offerings and filthy serve-ware. We enjoy ordering there & eating at home after a long workday! Consistently #1 Chinese establishment in Springfield.”

“We ordered our holiday meal from Mission BBQ and picked it up on Christmas Eve. I can’t say enough positive about my experience. The person who took my order prior to the holiday was so nice and made sure they hadn’t over committed on carry out orders for that day. When we picked up, it was ready, the folks working were so friendly and they even carried it out to the car for us! The food was amazing and the service was even better. Only suggestion is to allow people to tip with a credit card. I didn’t have sufficient cash to tip the staff like I would have wanted to. They’re awesome and deserve it!”

“Today was my first time visiting & I was highly disappointed. Not because of the drinks or food but because of the lack of customer service. I went in right before closing, not realizing it since it was my first time there. But I was going to pick up something for a friend. Anyway, I walked in & there were three people behind the counter, one man & two ladies. They all looked at me while they were talking & then turned away as if I hadn't come in. I stepped back to make sure I was in the right place. As I turned to leave, there was another lady walking by so I confirmed I was in the right location & asked if I could still place an order. She says yes & started talking to one of the ladies behind the counter. But I made her aware of what happened & she was a little helpful. However, I ended up not placing an order. It's hard for me to walk into a place of business & not be acknowledged at all & still do business. I left feeling really disappointed. After being gone for 10 years, I'm relearning Springfield & finding new places to enjoy. But this is one place I will not be returning to. I'm not sure if anyone will care, but I just couldn't let the rudeness & lack of customer service slide.”

“What a treasure—this was the best Turkish food I’ve had outside of Turkey. The kebab and Mecver plate—a vegetarian patty—were outstanding, especially with the garlic yogurt sauce and red onion salad (more like a pickle accompaniment). Highly recommend!”

“I went in this morning and had a great breakfast! I misunderstood an ad about them having B&G all day when it wasn't supposed to be until 10, but someone from the kitchen came up and said she'd make it for me anyway! The gravy was SO good, I ate it up quick!! Got a chai latte too and it was delicious as well. Such great customer service and just a cute place. It's near my work, so I'm going to try and go more to support them!”
