The flavors were so authentic they reminded me of the meals my grandmother used to cook. “Maple Leaf slaps. First time coming here, I was expecting the usual - a coffee shop that has ok food but coffee is the main focus. Nope. The food here is excellent! I am an absolute stickler when it comes to breakfast restaurants.. the vast majority sling out the same boring mediocre meals or are the pretentious breakfast place that sounds better than it is. This was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. It’s intentionally not fancy; just quality ingredients cooked correctly. Those hash browns were on point and I could tell they hand shredded those taters the ole fashioned way. The sandwich, again nothing fancy, it just felt like the way I would make it at home and it was perfect - garlic aioli for the win. If I had to critique something, the English muffin could have been better but it was perfectly fine. The breakfast alone would rival any breakfast in a 20 mile radius but - don’t forget the coffee! The coffee was great too. Most coffee places just lack in the breakfast department, I was presently surprised with ML. We even tried a gluten free donut - wow. They had some other bakery items that looked really good as well. 10/10 highly recommend.“

“This was my second ever visit in three weeks, both because of events at Arcada. My first visit, which was on a Saturday, was great! My friend and I were promptly waited on, the server was informative and attentive and our food came out quickly. My second visit was a little less impressive. The restaurant was quite full and understaffed. We were given water right away, but waited quite awhile until our server returned to get our drink order. Then again to get our food order. Thankfully the food came out quickly, as we were already running late for the start of the show. As the first visit, there are absolutely no complaints about our entrees. The food was very good!! Looking forward to another show and visit to the restaurant to try something new yet again.“

“I’ve been to Alter Brewing (St. Charles) several times over the course of the past 2-3 years. I have never been disappointed.

During my visit yesterday, I ordered the Salmon Lunch Bowl. My colleagues ordered Rice Against the Machine and the Crunchy Shrimp BBQ bowl. It was $13.99 in restaurant. It was the perfect size for a lunch. Our entire group was satisfied with the service and serving size of the bowls.

In previous visits, I have fish and chips and the shrimp tacos. It was all delicious.“
