“Celebrated my wife’s birthday here with three other families, as we were in Chicago between baseball tournaments. Not only was Coda di Volpe able to accommodate a same day reservation for a large party, but they went above and beyond, from personalizing menus with a birthday wish, to adding a special touch on dessert. With four teenage boys in tow, the menu provided ample carbs and comfort for them while we enjoyed a broad sample of the offerings - all were very happy with their meals! Cocktails and wine selection was also on the mark. Kudos to Jeremy and his staff. We came all dressed in white and he told us he knew he wanted to do something special for our party… they knocked it out of the park! Looking forward to coming back to Chicago and making a beeline for this restaurant… a no-brainer.“

“I have lived most of my life in Chicago not eating New York-style pizza, but this place opens a few years ago and it is becoming one of my favorites. I still eat a lot of other styles of pizza but for just one quick slice this is a go to. I had a friend recently turn me onto cheese pizza, and that is my favorite slice here. If you’re going to eat here, you have to make sure to fold your slice of pizza because that is the traditional way to eat this style of pizza. I hope you enjoy it.“

Freddy’s is like I went back to 1990’s St.Calistus St.Joseph’s table. Stop in the Food Service and Establishment all live up to its promises. You can not have a bad meal here.

“My family and I had an incredible experience at Happy Camper in Wrigleyville. It was extremely busy because of the event at Wrigley Field, but we were seated quickly and had an incredible waiter (I wish I could remember his name). For how busy it was, we were all pleasantly surprised by how quickly the food came out. My wife had a tuna bowl and absolutely loved it. My boys and I had the tavern pizzas and they were great as well. All in all, a great restaurant with a wonderful hardworking staff. We highly recommend it!“

“A Chicagoan recommended I take the pink line to 18th for this best ever pizza. With crunchy thin crust and an unexpectedly large serving size, it was piping hot and topped with tons of cheese and a generous amounts of sausage and hot honey. Mmmmm!

The horchata was the creamiest ever. The service was kind and helpful and the playlist was straight out of my neighborhood in the 90s. Made for a wonderful meal with lots of memories. Pepperonis were also high quality, if there’s a problem it lies with the sauce. There's hardly any, not even close to enough on either their tavern or NY style. Order the NY style with extra sauce. The tavern is so thin that there’s barely any room for sauce, if you care. Still solid tavern.“

“We recently had dinner at Coalfire on Grand Ave. in West Town and really enjoyed their coal oven baked pizza. We dined early on a weekend evening so no problem with grabbing a table on a walk in basis. Opening hours are Indoor environs were urban modern with tables spaced nicely. Opening hours are 4pm to 10pm (Tue-Thurs) and noon to 10.30pm (Fri-Sun), closed on Mondays. Service was very friendly. Menu features a few salads as well as a list of pizzas. They also do a build your pizza custom order if preferred. We ordered the Jalapeno Pepperoni which was nicely baked thin crust with a good amount of char. Savoury tomato sauces, cheese, pepperoni and jalapeno were all good quality and tasty. This was a really good pizza, one we'd gladly return to reorder. Would also be happy to try other pizzas on the Coalfire menu.“
