“DELICIOUS!

Based on the name, I assumed this was a kebab fast food (hot dog serving) small, cramped, smoky 1930's Greek restaurant. To my surprise, it is a spacious, well-ventilated, well-lit 2030's sit-down restaurant with absolutely delicious chicken, chick-peas (hummus) and meat-based protein meals, with generous portions of elegantly-prepared rice, salads, nice pita bread, ancient Christian food treasures straddling the fence between south-eastern European and middle-eastern and Asia Minor national palates. Հայկական, Assyrian, Greek, Lebanese Arabic and Persian cuisine-lovers would love the flavors.

They are a great place to rent for graduation parties or baptisms.

I ordered a yogurt-based drink (Karoun, yum), hummus appetizer, French fries (crispy and good as is or with ketchup), then got a delicious chicken and ground meat kebab which came with rice, salad, and several delicious garlic-based and spicy sauces. An hour later I am still energetic and not at all in a food coma.

Great for lunch or dinner, a place to bring family who is visiting from out of town to sate their protein appetite.

I have to visit again to try other dishes and a bunch of salads.

Don't let the location fool you. It is n ot a small place.

This is a roomy place to visit for couples, a family, or a single man or woman looking for a 100% healthy meal that will nourish you for the whole day.

I went on a Sunday after Church and was the only one dining in. The service was nice and generous. The Karoun Yogurt Drink provided a protein boost which is good for the stomach. My family loved it.

One of the most memorable dining experiences, and a top restaurant for serving a hearty, generous meal that tastes better than anything I or you have had in a long while. Take some home to finish it later or get carry out.

Worth every penny. Impressive quality of every food item. Hummus was rich in healthy olive oil. Շատ համով.

“Great food. I used to come here regularly when I lived in the area. We stopped by while visiting family in the area. Food was still great and my kids loved his burger. We had an issue where my son's nose started bleeding and the staff went out of their way to help or see if we needed anything. It was a minor issue for us. But the staff went above and beyond in helping out. Very glad to be able to visit one of my favorite local places! The kids also loved the milk shakes. Looking forward to visiting again!!“

She recommended the monthly special called “Moonstruck” and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The ambience, service and food is unmatched! “I come here for their WTF burger and it never disappoints- best burger in town in my opinion. The man who usually takes my order is always so nice and happy! Plus the last time I came, I decided to add on fries after my burger arrived and a different gentleman gave them free of charge. Definitely recommend this place!“

“We have always enjoyed VT but this was poorly managed. We came in on a Wednesday and ask to sit at a booth. The booth they sat us at was right next to a party they had going on. And people were standing right at the edge of the booth and was extremely loud. Why they didn't put the party separated in the empty section by the bar would be more appropriate. It seems they were over the limit on the one side. So we asked to move to a booth that was empty. They said we couldn't move to that booth as it wasn't open. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere.“

Full disclosure, we have never tasted CC prior, although online it looks like they regularly service most of the top Independent craft brewers for some time throughout suburban Chicagoland. By 6:00 pm on a warm busy spring Friday evening, CC was already sold out of 2/3rds of their (flash heated on a table top griddle) menu of Pork belly tacos and Shrimp po’boys (on a Friday, in lent)? Which only left the many hungry to enjoy their signature chicken sandwich (original, medium spicy and extra spicy) served with chips. While the sourcing of their chicken breasts (decent size/texture meaty and fried well) was good, their temperature plated was lukewarm and underwhelming. Maybe a pop up on the patio isn’t the best way to promote your food, Idk. Not a fan and can’t recommend. Definitely won’t go out of my way to sample again“

The eggs were silky smooth, melt-in-your-mouth delicious, perfectly flavored and paired beautifully with fresh avocado. The brioche bread pulls everything together — soft, rich, and just indulgent enough. I love how they “tuck” the sandwich into the cutest little box, and the sriracha mayo sauce is incredible. The space itself is spotless, the staff is genuinely friendly, and the easy digital self-ordering makes the whole experience seamless. Honestly, this felt like a K-drama sandwich moment — iykyk.“

The staff was friendly and I didnt wait very long for my drink and food even though it was quite busy. My only complaint is there is only one area with comfy seating. I came here specifically because I saw there was a couch and armchairs on google and they were all occupied by a group of students. I am new to illinois and was looking for a new coffeehouse to stay and read at for an extended amount of time and was disappointed I had to sit at a table. I didnt stay anywhere near as long as I normally would have at my shop back home- that place had multiple couches and chairs.

In response to the owner: you can directly control how you furnish the place. My old coffee shop was mostly couches and armchairs. I was disappointed to find this shop only has one comfy corner. The chances of ever finding it open are basically non existent. I would absolutely go back for to go food and coffee but I wouldn't plan to stay a while.“
