“This is a rustic woodsy atmosphere. Peanut shells are all over the floor. Probably not a great choice for those with peanut allergies. We order the wings they are meaty and flavorful without any sauce. We also had the Double Decker pizza. This is one of our favorites.“

The cooking here has seriously degraded in quality since 2022. Talk about flavorless! It wasn't that way just a little bit ago.

Service is still great but tipping 25% is loopy.

The place is clean and, other than for the poor cooking, well operated. Parking is still rough on weekends.“

“We live 2.5 hours south of Lake Villa, but we were meeting some friends from Florida for dinner. They were in the area for their grandson’s graduation from Great Lakes Naval Academy. Found this place via Google and it had great reviews, with good reason. We wish we lived closer because it would be a favorite for sure. Probably the best bruschetta and lasagna I’ve had in a very long time. Everyone loved their entrees. We tried multiple pasta dishes and the pizza. Prices were very reasonable and our service was exceptional. Excellent dining experience all around. Highly recommend.“

N it was .... The best steak burrito I've had in years.
Perfectly grilled burrito. Mistake was juicy and tender which is most places biggest mistake or steaks usually very chewy I find very few places that I would even order steak burrito.
Because it hasn't been done right in a long time when I order it I just ordered chicken from now on but since I've never been here I went with it. And that was a very good choice.nyu yum yum
No doubt I will be back if you've never been just give it a try even there mild and their spicy sauce is very good I can find nothing to complain about and I'm generally picky about food because I love to cook so if I go out and pay for it and I can make it better myself that's disappointing I'm no professional I've only gotten my head into learning to cook like three four years ago and I am an amateur but I know there's places where I do a better job myself so I would go to Raul's anytime over anywhere I don't have another burrito place and I don't need one probably if this place up once or twice a week don't want to overdo it but you get that craving immediately it's because sometimes you haven't had good food that you paid for in a long time all right I'm surprised how much I put so I'm going to stop rambling and I recommend highly really give it a try“

I had a large pickup order today for myself and my family and when I arrived the kitchen manager came out to describe that they had to restart one of the pizzas, offering to let me go now with the rest of my order - plus the messup free for extra snackage - and that he would come deliver the remake himself in a bit so I didn’t have to wait. “We were visiting from out of town and were fortunate to find this lovely place to have a Mother's Day breakfast. The food was phenomenal as was the service. They were very busy but you would have never known it by the attentiveness and smiles from the staff. The flower they gave to all of the moms was a beautiful touch. I am a little sad I didn't go back before we left to bring food home with us. We will definitely be back the next time we visit the area and I will have a cooler ready to take some of the delicious food back with us. Thank you for making Mother's day so special!!“

“My wife and I have become a little picky with our restaurant selection but this place was great and the food was fresh, it has fancy atmosphere with decent pricing. We have come a couple of times with my wife for their lunch specials and they are the best. Pricing is very fair for what you get. We had the 2 sushi roll option and I had the Chicken pad Thai which was great. The server was a little serious and dry but it's been great every time.
