“This is my favorite go to Chinese restaurant in St Louis!! All the dishes are sooo good, so good that I have to get 2-3 each time and have leftovers. My go to dishes are chicken n broccoli ( healthier), general tsos and the mei fun noodles Singapore style bc it has a little more pazazz with a light curry flavor!! The Mei fun Singapore style is a must try!!“

“Movoc Hot Pot is a really solid option for malatang, especially in the St. Louis area. I was impressed by the selection of seafood (scallops, abalone, mussels) and meats. The pricing felt a bit high at $15.99/lb, but the variety of food options justifies it. The sauce bar was lacking compared to other malatang places. Free rice is available for dine-in and $2 for take-out. There were labels for the ingredients, and ingredients were constantly being stocked. Overall, it's a really solid food spot, and I will definitely be coming back when I'm craving malatang.“

“The food was great. Order prepared quickly each time I've visited. Been back about 4 times in a single week. Pricing is a bit higher than other suitable Chinese restaurants but Food has Great and my orders were exactly what I asked for and expected.
I highly recommend.
How ever, there is no guarantee to get a call in order answered.“

“This place was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was so clean and organized. The workers were so kind and polite. And the food was so delicious ESPECIALLY the crab Rangoon it was chef’s kiss! Definetly my go to number one top restaurant for Chinese food. I would rate even higher than 5 stars if I could. Would def recommend!!!“

“Found this place on TikTok. Definitely worth the hype. A but run down but that's usually all the good food spots. The fried rice was different from what I've had in the past in a good way. Service was meh but my food was good and hot. Would recommend“

“4 star when it comes to the special fried rice, they cook the rice very well.
Poor service for real. Always call and someone either irritated or just answers the phone and place you on hold for long periods of time.
Hopefully they get more workers so they won't feel overwhelmed. But service need mad improvement.“

“Food is pretty good. My go to dishes are veg egg foo young, s&s chicken, potstickers. Efy not bad but their gravy needs work. Also, if you get veg fried rice or something you have to also ask for egg in it, & you get charged for EVERY LITTLE THING. They charged me pork efy, minus pork, no minus charge, then charged for veggies. Same w/ the rice. They did similar thing on the lomain we ordered. Crazy. The food is good, s&s chicken definitely tasty. I'd go back.“

“Tonight our pickup order was about 20 min late. Apparently there was a new cook doing the dumplings. We just want the new cook to know that you may have had a tough night, but your dumplings were excellent. Thanks!“

“In the majority of these restaurant/Chinese....what's to be expected but you either call your order in before you go, or order when you get there. The services are not like a real restaurant...hell you can even go to the restrooms in the majority of them. The food is cooked to order and usually be reasonably-priced and good. I can't say even say if they are rude...I have never been treated rude here, your service is simple "How can I help you "give you a total, you pay. You either get a number or they call out what your order number, you get your bag, check it and go. The majority of the places you stand and wait on your food and go. I can say...in the City for me the food is better....at the majority of the all Chinese restaurants. Everyone has their favorite one to go too...but by far the City's restaurants are better.“

“Facebook is asking me "What do you recommend about China Garden on Gravois?" Well, I could - and truthfully should, write a whole essay on this subject. However I will not do so since I will instead be enjoying everything about my repeated excellent experiences at China Garden on Gravois. I will leave you with this note - China Garden on Gravois is stupendous and makes all other Chinese take outs look like imitators.“

I If you are looking for fried rice, chicken wings, and mouth watering St Paul sandwich ( it’s fried egg, onion, bean sprouts and your choice of protein on a bed of lettuce with mayo and pickles!!) YUMMY 🤗 Very affordable too! If you live here or passing through STL this place is a must!!“

“I’ve been here before and in the past the service wasn’t the best — I often felt like I was being met with an attitude and even charged extra for sweet and sour sauce when ordering multiple boxes of rice.
This time was a completely different experience. The rice was delicious, the service was great, and the lady who helped me was kind, polite, and even gave me extra sauce without hesitation. I ordered shrimp fried rice and it was excellent.
I’m really happy with how much better the service has gotten, and I’ll definitely be coming back more often!“

“I’m from STL but moved to Nashville. Everytime I come home I GOTTA go to China moon. The crab Rangoon never fails, sweet, hot, and abundant. The rice is really good too. I’m mainly a St. Paul person so that’s what I usually get and absolutely love it! And I got more of my family switching to them as well!“

“Great food. I recommend the low mein, fried rice, egg rolls and egg fu young . Their duck fried rice is their specialty. Food is served hot and fresh. There was a man outside the door pan handling and it made us uncomfortable. We waited inside but there were no chairs. It's located is a plain old building.“

“Best St. Paul sandwich I've found so far. Sometimes a little salty, but still the best I've had. I've tried other food from here, but mainly come for the St. Paul. You can call in a pickup order, which seems to be what most people do. Or you can come wait while your order is being prepared. They have a dining room but rarely have I seen anyone eating there... the wait is usually something like 15 minutes. You ring a bell through the plastic partitioned ordering window when you arrive and someone will come out of the kitchen (if no one is already there) to take your order. This place isn't fancy by any means, and the tables seem like they could use a cleaning. Of note are the plants up front which are seemingly ancient. Lastly, not the St. Paul, but I went in late on a rainy night and had the best egg drop soup I've ever had. It may be because I was the only customer at the time, but I will definitely be back to try for that experience again.
Wheelchair accessibility: A step or two up into restaurant, so probably not wheelchair accessible.“

“The best Chinese food I’ve had in years. I always get sweet and sour chicken combo.🔥. Wish they had a second menu hung in the waiting area, Away from the window. I always wanna try something new but I walk to the window to look at the menu and they are immediately there like I know what to i get all ready . That’s why I’ve only gotten the one thing.. no update menu available online. But besides that, the food is fantastic. Hot and fresh. Plus they have all flavors of Faygo and Vess!“

“This place has been here since I can remember. My Uncle worked at the wonder bread factory down the street from here over 40 years ago. They are inventing new ways of making Asian cuisine here with the Ultimate Saint Paul sandwich, and the infamous 'Happy Box'. Your favorite rice, or noodles, topped with saint paul patty, and asian gravy. Sprinkle a little red pepper, and you've got street food like your over there buying it. The neighborhood has changed a bit, but for the most part its still the best fried rice I've ever had in the states?????“

“No dine in option is available only take out. The hot braised chicken boneless was well seasoned and plenty of sauce noted. I asked for rice without white onion and it was still white onion in the rice. The crab ragoon the way that it was wrapped was the lazy way. It was just folded in half like a triangle. It was good though and and you saw the imitiation crab meat in it.
Dietary restrictions: They do have vegetarian options“

“This is the place to go for Chinese food in STL. Delicious food, polite A+ customer service, clean place, and an eccentric menu with many options. A word of advice though. NEVER tell the cooks that they didn’t make the General TSOs spicy enough. They’ll put some spice in it next time That’ll make you forget your name and where you live.“

“This is a great little hole in the wall but amazing Chinese restaurant! I stumbled upon it while having a craving for Hot & Sour soup. The location is easy to get to off Lindbergh. I was amazing how many locals were inside ordering food and taking it to go. It seems to be mostly a to go spot. I was given some recommendations right there from some of their most loyal customers. Hands down their general tso chicken was indeed great. And the soup I craved didn’t disappoint! I’ll be back.“

“They have good food I like the fact that they don't put egg in their food by me being a vegetarian I get plain fried rice or vegetable fried rice I really appreciate that they don't use egg that's the biggest thing about me going to other places so with that being said I stick with King chop suey and not only that they are very nice.“

“Special Lo Mein to any fried rice, Duck and noodle and St.Paul sandwiches I've all tried and loved it. But the crab racoon and egg rolls always keeps me coming back. I've tried many chinese restaurants and nothing else compares. People from out of town love stl "chinamen" and they all go here. I've been going here since I was a kid and I'm 22 now. I will go until the doors cloSe. Henry will hook it up“

“Grew up in this neighborhood and only ate Newstead chop suey. Came here tonight and service beautiful crab ragoon excellent, chicken egg roll off the chain. Rice alright taste a Lil burnt but edible but spicy chicken wings is a No look like they been cooked to many times taste ok but look and batter was a no I ate a drum but the rice and chicken I couldn't finish. This restaurant been here for yrs. This is only my opinion. It's good food but my wings look like they been thru it. Just being honest I don't know if it was rushed but it was a No . Now I do recommend this place prices worth it and maybe other foods but my wings was killed 3xand rice tasted a Lil burnt. But overall give them a 4. I still enjoyed what I could.“

“I have been to many Chinese food places in STL. I have to say they are on of the best. They are across the street from the old schnucks on grand. Love their rice. “My late night go to when I work like. Fried rice and duck and noodles are the best ive had. Atmosphere lacks but it's in a good area they have to protect themselves. Unlike other places they always take my last minute order. Other places turn you down even before close these days. Not them.“
