“What a great find! Such friendly people and spectacular food! Nice, airy interior -- plenty of space between tables and booths. The appetizers we had were the hummus and baba ganoush, and falafel. Best in the area! The chicken schwarma was delicious, as was the chickpea salad. And try the baklava -- heavenly! We'll be back!“

“Me and my husband have been coming here on Saturday nights for takeout for a few years now. We go so often that some of the staff recognize us and say hello when we come in! The food is always delicious, and we are more than happy to keep coming back to say hi. Highly recommend!“

“I have been to several Pita Pita locations and the food here was a little off. There were multiple pieces of shwarma that were undercooked, the hummus lacked the usual zip and the salad was overdressed. Any place can have a rough day and I am quite sure the food will be better next time.“
“Went there with a group of friends last night. The place was so cute & cozy. While there are a lot of entrees to choose from we just ordered a bunch of appetizers & cocktails. Food was delicious & service was excellent. Great for a date night, girls night or just hanging with friends. It also has a very nice bar to just stop in for a cocktail. Check it out!“
“Discovered summer 2023…it’s my favorite! The Mediterranean food chains don’t hone close in service, much less value or flavor. I live 23 West…and try to make it there weekly, bi weekly at the very least. The kindness makes the drive worth it…a $27 order generally renders about 4 meals for me. There’s a place nearby that also has a meal location…it just doesn’t compare to Mr.Pita. Give it a go, you’ll enjoy the burst of flavors and fair cost!Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot, sidewalk, and restaurant seating are all wheelchair accessible.“
“I went to this restaurant with family on 11/13 2023. We got outdoor seating and they were able to put tables together and seat us very fast. The service always had smiles on their faces and were all around very pleasant. The view was amazing, right next to the water. There was a bit of a wait for the food (which is expected for the large group we had) but they had live music and just such a great atmosphere. The food was 10/10 meeting and beating all of our expectations. Some dishes were a little pricey but not bad for the amount of food we were given and for the quality of food it was.“
“The place isn't too big, they have some pretty good Gyros, their fried options are average. Client service is good never average and below, I called to make an order for a pick up and they were generous with the time saying it'll be ready in 18 minutes but by the feel of the food and how warm it was I say they only needed 10 to 12 minutes to get my order ready to go.Their Gyro isn't crispy or dry like some places, its even slightly juicy. This is the place I buy my gyros at when I get the craving, there's rarely anything better.“
“Went for a late afternoon family birthday dinner. The menu selection, food quality, authenticity, ambiance were all second to none. I recommend the Yemista (stuffed peppers and tomatoes filled with beef and rice) served with Greek potatoes and veggies. Other family members had the Dolmades, Pastitsio, and Makaronada, all of which were mouth watering and done right! Avgolemono was glorious, and the Saganaki was awesome, spot on-not dry or too salty. Portions are generous and yet dont leave you stuffed but satisfied. It felt like we were in Greece. OPAA! You must eat here! Bravo Dimitri's and all the staff, σας ευχαριστούμε!“
“The atmosphere for New Year's Eve was lively and loud to be sure. Entering through a back door into a narrow space was odd and not the most welcoming set-up, especially having parked on the street along Milwaukee Ave. The dining area was comfortable, aside from a couple guests who were loud and could be heard from several tables away. Service was good and pleasant though robotic and somewhat forced. The gentleman refilling water was superb and always on his game! We never had less than half a glass full---much appreciated! We came to Chrissoulas, having read excellent reviews. The food was good, including the pasta with chorizo and octopus and gyro. The pork medallions were only three, however, with a whole lot of salad, leaving one guest in our party inadequately full and value for the money poor. Menu options were overpriced in general though not outrageous. Two televisions playing sports over the bar did not seem in keeping with a fine dining establishment, but rather with a sports bar. Overall Chrissoulas was a decent experience with good food but not deserving of the amazing reviews seen elsewhere---a solid 3-4 stars out of 5.“
“Eastern bloc foods served by the nicest family. Nonna showed up and was appalled that I'd been waiting she offered me free honeyed dates, and when she finally rushed my order out, she apologized and gave me an apple. Lovely people. I'll be back.“

“Been here multiple times and it is a great experience every time. They are so quick and the food is always so fresh. It is definitely one of my favorite counter-serve restaurants. They have some of the best dressings and meat choices, all for a very reasonable price.“
