“My wife and I celebrated our anniversary breakfast at Gardenberry Cafe, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how clean, friendly, and welcoming the atmosphere was. The outdoor seating was a real highlight—it felt so good to enjoy a quiet meal outside together. Now the food… wow. I ordered the fajita skillet and French toast—both were incredible. My wife had the deluxe Philly cheesesteak with fries and tortilla soup. That soup was out of this world, and everything on her plate was just as impressive. The service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. Honestly, the only "negative" is that Gardenberry is 35 minutes from our house. If it were closer, we'd be regulars. But even with the drive, we’ll absolutely be back soon. “Like many barbeque places I want good side orders . They need to improve a little on those. But that being said .there ribs are fabulous . Nice and flavorfully. They grill them before serving . I prefer no grilling just reheat and serve.

I usually stop by after grocery shopping at Whole Foods with my family when we feel a bit hungry. It’s a self-service kiosk, yet it prompts for tips. At first, I didn’t realize and added a few times, but honestly, if tipping is necessary, it should go directly to the chefs.“

Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. The staff didn’t come to take our order, and we had to go up to the counter to ask for the check.“

“Finally found my 1st great Thai place in Lake Cty since I moved here a year ago from Chicago... I tried them yesterday and looooved the eggplant with basil and basil chicken dishes... It's 30 minutes away but that's better then having to drive twice as long to the City for great Thai... I'll definitely be back again and try some of the other unique dishes they have to offer!! 😋🌶😋“

“The first thing you notice is the farm house decor. The menu is American fare with a hint of some southern dishes. The staff is great considering it can get busy after 8:30 am. There’s plenty of parking and weather permitting. They have outside seating.“

“Excellent Chinese Food. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants at North suburbs of Chicago area, particularly the one at Vernon Hills. Food is delicious, each time I ordered carry out, they all packed very well too. Definitely recommend.“

“Food was amazing after a nice confusing hang out with the boys. Great night discussions and amazing water and fries. Service is understandably difficult at midnight but I tried to ask for more water at times because of wings I got, they were slow to provide that. Vibes were almost there on the atmosphere very lowkey and chill just was also weird at night like it was.“
