“First time here. The atmosphere is clean and bright! The service is delightful, and perfectly attentive. The menu selection is creative and thoughtful. I was easily able to find something great. The drinks and food came out very quickly with great timing. They have fun pineapple 🍍 😉 glasses for their delicious cold pressed fruit drinks! Mediterranean omelette was perfect, tho I requested avocado and black olives be added because avocado addiction -- which they happily added (kalimata). The accompanying fruit was nice (watermelon, pineapple, grapes). The loaded french toast is amazing [dessert for breakfast FTW HAHA ]!! Asked for fresh pressed watermelon 🍉 basil drink (slightly custom) and it's perfectly refreshing!! I had a great breakfast with my son. Thanks 🙏🏼 !!! This is my new favorite spot.“

“This was my first time going to a Steak ‘n Shake. I really was impressed by the ordering method if doing it on the screen inside. The inside of the restaurant is nicely clean. The old fashion theme is really nice too. I got the triple steak burger. Dyammm, It fills you up! If you want to easy a lot, go here! The fries were also good but the cheese on top could have been a bit hotter. Overall, not a bad place to stop by, or even before you go to the movies!“

“I visited the Crystal Lake Culver’s on Saturday, May 24th, 2025. I am an avid fan of Culver’s and I have visited 35 locations in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri and Kentucky. As a resident of Crystal Lake I visit this Culver’s very regularly. The food was excellent and the service was quick. “I had the Beast double combo, added bacon , extra cheese and lettuce. I have to say, the burger was pretty good. I wish it had a little more sauce and mayo but it was really good. It's up there in price but you do get full. I would like if they had more advertising or anything to let you know it's a ghost menu. I drove around a few times because it was a pizza joint and couldn't see any signs of Mr beast burgers. I will be back but I hope Mr beast makes these adjustments.“

“I ordered catering from Eggville Cafe a friend of mine said their catering was amazing and I had a family gathering coming up I had to try it out! Everything was perfectly cooked they had so many different options to choose from I ordered the kebabs and a side salad, some potatoes some meatballs and a couple other things that they threw in everything tasted amazing. It was delicious and was reasonably priced if you were looking for catering for any event like a graduation coming up or birthday or family gatherings I definitely highly recommend them they were amazing and they got everything I wanted and more!!“

“Very good hot dog; they really grill it until it is hot. A "Shroomer" made as a grilled chicken sandwich is good. The burger is good and I have ended up getting a kid's meal last time so that I can try to eat less meat. I am more of a light weight person anyway. The inside of the restaurant could be renovated. They are still in the real old Kooker's building with the same old tile floor that Kooker's restaurant had when I was in high school. It is over 20 years later now. I have been willing to go back to Happy Burger to get meals. The people at the front desk are nice. I do admit, though, sometimes I end up getting a burger for $3 at fast food drive-throughs. Happy Burger (HB) burger tastes more like a fresh made juicy burger when compared to the McDonald's on the other side of the street. HB fries are not bad but could be better because when the HB fries come up and go into a bag, I have found they were a bit wet.Wet fries is a common imperfection with Chicago-style grills.“

“I have been going to this place for over forty years and they still have one consistent problem that never gets solved. They short me items in the drive through. It doesn't happen with the dine-in and the food is always hot and fresh. I just wish they would teach the workers to count burgers and fries when they put them in the bag for takeout.“

“They are by far the best dq in the suburbs. They are not stingy with toppings. Sure the price reflects that sometimes but will you rather pay $8 for a blizzard with 2 Oreo cookies in it or $10 for one with 8 Oreos in it? I love the Oreo blizzard and Reese’s. Though no fault of their own…I wish the Reese’s had less choco chunks and more peanut butter stuff ❤️. Regardless i appreciate them and always thank them!“

“Burger King in Elgin really lets you 'Have It Your Way'! My vegetarian girlfriend and I went on Sunday to try their new Philly Melts. The manager was super cool about making two Impossible patty versions for us. Those new sandwich buns were bomb too - they should definitely add a 'create your own burger' option with them. Staff is always friendly and goes the extra mile. Solid spot, will be back for sure.

“This is a new Culver's, still great food, in a modern package. You must try everything but for your first time go with a butter burger, cheese curds, and leave room for custard of your choice.

Next time (there will be a next time) look beyond a burger and try the cod, pot roast sandwich, or soup.

“McDonalds is getting way overpriced and food is....ok at best. Thought I'd try Culvers in FRG. Was NOT dissapointed! For about the same price you get a DELICIOUS, HOT, LOOKS LIKE THE PICTURE burger, huge portion of hot crispy fat fries and a soft drink of your choice! I'm not one to take pictures of my food, but I did! It was a masterpiece! Loved it!“

“These were the best philly's we have ever had. Customer service was excellent and you have to try the Philly fries. We also ordered the mozzarella sticks, nuggets, and regular fries, everything was on point. We can't wait to try this place again. Have been recommending this to all my family and friends. “Great chicken fingers!!! But if someone in charge could please fix the menu on DoorDash for the mozzarella sticks? It says it comes with marinara sauce, but then makes you select from a list of sauces and marinara is not a choice. So one time I just picked a different sauce and got that sauce and not the marinara and the other time I picked no sauce and didn’t get anything. So if marinara sauce could be added to the sauce selection so there’s no confusion that would be wonderful.“
