“I hardly believe this, but I left today and they forgot to include my coleslaw. I got home and called to mention it. I was told they'd bring the coleslaws to me. I thought it was a joke, like doctors making house calls. Sure enough, they came to my door with the coleslaws, an extra, and a pint of blueberry cheesecake. Unbelievable! I've gone there since they opened. Now I won't go anywhere else. Caring about customers isn't lost! Wonderful people!“

“I visited the Crystal Lake Culver’s on Saturday, May 24th, 2025. I am an avid fan of Culver’s and I have visited 35 locations in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri and Kentucky. As a resident of Crystal Lake I visit this Culver’s very regularly. The food was excellent and the service was quick. “I ordered catering from Eggville Cafe a friend of mine said their catering was amazing and I had a family gathering coming up I had to try it out! Everything was perfectly cooked they had so many different options to choose from I ordered the kebabs and a side salad, some potatoes some meatballs and a couple other things that they threw in everything tasted amazing. It was delicious and was reasonably priced if you were looking for catering for any event like a graduation coming up or birthday or family gatherings I definitely highly recommend them they were amazing and they got everything I wanted and more!!“

“I have been going to this place for over forty years and they still have one consistent problem that never gets solved. They short me items in the drive through. It doesn't happen with the dine-in and the food is always hot and fresh. I just wish they would teach the workers to count burgers and fries when they put them in the bag for takeout.“

Sure the price reflects that sometimes but will you rather pay $8 for a blizzard with 2 Oreo cookies in it or $10 for one with 8 Oreos in it? I love the Oreo blizzard and Reese’s. “This was my first time going to a Steak ‘n Shake. I really was impressed by the ordering method if doing it on the screen inside. The inside of the restaurant is nicely clean. The old fashion theme is really nice too. I got the triple steak burger. Dyammm, It fills you up! If you want to easy a lot, go here! The fries were also good but the cheese on top could have been a bit hotter. Overall, not a bad place to stop by, or even before you go to the movies!“

“I had the Beast double combo, added bacon , extra cheese and lettuce. I have to say, the burger was pretty good. I wish it had a little more sauce and mayo but it was really good. It's up there in price but you do get full. I would like if they had more advertising or anything to let you know it's a ghost menu. I drove around a few times because it was a pizza joint and couldn't see any signs of Mr beast burgers. I will be back but I hope Mr beast makes these adjustments.“

“This is a new Culver's, still great food, in a modern package. You must try everything but for your first time go with a butter burger, cheese curds, and leave room for custard of your choice.

Next time (there will be a next time) look beyond a burger and try the cod, pot roast sandwich, or soup.

it does not matter. this place has the best bacon cheeseburgers of any fast food place in the area, the best chicken sandwiches of any fast food place in the state, and the best fries of any restaurant anywhere in the United States

i was fortunate enough to have Diego as my cashier he was so great. I was particularly impressed with how patient he was when i had trouble deciding what i wanted.

“McDonalds is getting way overpriced and food is....ok at best. Thought I'd try Culvers in FRG. Was NOT dissapointed! For about the same price you get a DELICIOUS, HOT, LOOKS LIKE THE PICTURE burger, huge portion of hot crispy fat fries and a soft drink of your choice! I'm not one to take pictures of my food, but I did! It was a masterpiece! Loved it!“

“I’m in love with the Turtle Cluster Pecan Blizzard. I’ve had over 100 of these at more than a dozen locations over the years. Every time I get one, the bottom inch is pure vanilla because it’s never thoroughly mixed. Even Culver’s does this with their concrete mixers.

Until tonight! A young lady at this location did the tedious task of thoroughly mixing my Blizzard so that for the first time in my entire life, it was tasty to the last scoop. Thank you and please keep up the good work! And to her manager, give this girl a raise!“
