“We went to Woodfire for my birthday. The food and service is excellent. Vicki was our server and she was very friendly and attentive. The food is so fresh and homemade. The pizza crust is crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. There is an assortment of types of pizza, but the cheese pizza is the best I’ve ever had. The pasta is rich and delicious. It’s cooked perfectly and the vodka sauce is amazing. The appetizers, home brewed beer, and desserts are phenomenal too. Step aside Coopers Hawk, I have a new favorite restaurant!“

“I’ve eaten at Bleuroot twice when traveling through Chicago for hockey trips. Every bite has been phenomenal and there have been many “Oh you’ve got to try this” shared plates. The staff are amazing and this is a place where it’s okay to be loud and boisterous and joyful. Thanks to Maria and the crew for a great experience (and excellent customer service mailing me back a pair of prescription sunglasses I left on the table!). We had an issue at this location last night and I informed the manager simply so she was aware. By the way our server was excellent, so this was not a service or even a food issue. Hey things happen in a public setting and management doesn’t always have full control of that. But when I met Marisela she really wanted to make things right for our table and went above and beyond to fix our situation. We appreciated that SO much. Thank you Olive Garden management and particularly to the manager of this location. You really helped regular customers stay loyal.“

“I am a simple man. I usually get 2 eggs and some kind of meat. This place does a fine job and the other items I have tried off the menu are good as well. Usually not a long wait and has plenty of space even on Sunday. Staff is always friendly. Only complaint is that it can be on the pricier side but that's just the price of doing business nowadays. You could definitely do worse for breakfast.“

She recommended the monthly special called “Moonstruck” and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The ambience, service and food is unmatched! If you are looking for a great night out I highly recommend Al’s Cafe!“
