“The chicken tenders were a good size, the breading was yummy and crunchy, and the chicken was juicy. The honey biscuits were good too. We got plenty of food for the price. For three people we got enough for two meals for a total of $50. The people working there were very nice and the food was ready when I got there to pick it up. Easy to order online.“

I was disappointed. It appears to be new staff and better quality. The chicken is not like years ago. The thighs need to cook longer. Chicken can not be cooked by a timer. It cooks by the thickness. “I stumbled upon this place by accident and I’m glad I did. The food is the *Byrd Bomb*
I would’ve never thought to put pickles and cole slaw on top of chicken and fries but it works.
My only gripe with the Oak Lawn location, in particular, is the night crew! I have to check my food before I leave because they keep messing up my order. I got all the way home one time and there was no 24k sauce on either order. My bf went in on a Sunday evening around 8pm and was told they weren’t taking any orders, although they were currently preparing an order for someone. The hours state that they close at 9pm so why aren’t you taking orders at 8pm?? Recently I ordered the same thing again, checked before I left and everything looked as it should. However, I get home, and there’s barely any cole slaw on either order. Also, I mentioned no spice on either order. My son mentioned that his was a little spicy and he couldn’t finish it. I noticed mine was spicy as well but could tolerate it. This is ridiculous that my order continues to be incorrect, or you’re turning away business because you don’t want to do your job. Then you try to compensate by giving out free drinks and the order is still incorrect. Not looking to get anyone fired (especially in this economy) but this needs to be looked into.“

Everything is fresh and cooked to order, which you can really taste. The chicken came out hot, juicy, and perfectly grilled with that nice char flavor you want from peri-peri. Nothing felt pre-made or sitting around — they clearly make it when you order.

The service was fast and super friendly too. Staff was welcoming, helpful with recommendations, and kept things moving quickly even during busy time.

The real stars though are the sauces:
• 🌶️ Medium spicy peri-peri sauce – perfect heat level with tons of flavor
• 🧄 Garlic sauce – creamy, rich, and absolutely addictive

Get both on the side — trust me, you’ll want extra for dipping everything.

Ordered medium and it was a good spice level, but if you are sensative to spice, I would opt for the mild as it was hotter than I expected. Their portions are great for the price too. “Very nice and friendly workers. Always some kind of deal on chicken. My favorite deal is cold chicken. You can get eight pieces of cold chicken if they have any for about $5. They are still one of the only chicken places that you can get livers, gizzards and hush puppies. All cooked to perfection and their delicious crunchy breading.“
