“Recently I’ve had the privilege of not only meeting the owner of this establishment but also trying their meatball sandwiches, which is one of their top sellers. First bite, you can tell immediately that this was made with a lot of love and care. It legit felt like a hug from my grandmother every bite. Every part of this sandwich, from the bread to the sauce, and even the meatballs, you can tell that no shortcuts were taken. It’s clearly an artisanal sandwich. By far one of the best meatball sandwiches I’ve had. Even talking with the owner you can tell that he’s proud of his product. His food speaks for itself. Can’t wait to try what else this place has to offer. Keep it up guys!“

“We started with the vegetable tempura. The veggies were fresh, lightly battered and perfectly cooked. We ordered three different types of rolls, Boston, Sweet potato and shrimp tempura, all were fresh and had excellent flavor. We also had the steak ramen, spectacular! Located in Park Ridge and parking was not the best but i ordered online and it was ready before the listed pick up time. Salad was fresh, delicious and a good portion. Charcuterie Board was also good. I work near by and will be adding this place to one of our regular lunch spots to add to our rotation.“

“I tracked my order and it stayed on "we are baking your order". It never alerted me it was done, so I went in at the end of the estimated pick up time and it was ready. But it was now, not fresh and hot like I like it. I order from time to time and this was the first time I was not happy with my pizza.“

I recently hosted a dinner for a baby shower for my daughter in their side room. Had 14 people with a catered menu of chicken limone, beef tenderloin, gnocchi, salad, roasted potatoes, and grilled vegetables for a very reasonable price. The food was delicious and the service was superb. This is the second dinner like this that I have done here and it was amazing! Thank you Ms. Medina, Jose , Dorita, and Chef Jose!“

“Our reservation was for 5pm and we walked in at 502pm. The food for both my wife and I were absolutely the best Italian food we have ever had. The price was excellent for such great quality. The manager took my call and commiserated with me a bit and suggested that I place my order directly with them via their website. Since I am just across the parking lot and can't leave my location (I was running out of time for my lunch), he graciously offered to run my order to me personally. JC showed up a matter of minutes later with my extremely tasty food and a smile!. I love their Lobster Bisque soup and mine was still nice and hot. Bonus... While on the website, I registered for the Cafe Zupas loyalty program and got a Free beverage! And, even though I have a discount on GH from my Amazon Prime account, my bill was nearly $8 cheaper! Overall, my experience today with Cafe Zupas Schaumburg has been stellar and I'll be ordering from them (directly, no more GrubHub) frequently and encouraging my coworkers and clients to do the same. “I wanted to give this location props for their lunch on 8/17. Walking in around 1pm, I could tell they had had their butts handed to them and were obviously understaffed. However, in my perspective they were handling the hangry customers very well, were staying calm and the staff that was present seemed to know what they were doing. The only reason for 4 stars is because and (this has happened more than once at this location) rather than suggesting I try my Pesto Cavatappi with pork, they tell me it comes with pork, which is not true. There is an additional charge for any meat on this bowl.“

The food is also amazing bc it stays true to Korean food fused with fresh veges and both Korean and non Korean based like glass sweet potato noodles or salad or purple or white rice. The flavors are authentic to Korean food items also. Online you can ask for extra of one the free included sides which is nice. The sides are healthful and tastes great. The staff (diverse staff) and manager (who looked Korean to me which is nice to keep authenticity) are always cleaning...authentic to the Korean way of non stop standards of cleanliness. The bathroom is immaculate and non odorous. I got a glass noodle (which is made of sweet potato) base bowl with tofu (cooked perfectly with just right saltiness, broccoli, beans, steamed and fried potatoes, red cabbage, corn, kale, and KIMCHI of course! What Korean dish comes without kimchi and it's perfect inside bc I grew up adding kimchi to everything like ramen or pizza or soup. Also FREE miso soup w tofu and scallion. You can serve it yourself anytime. Drinks are creative and yummy. Thank you Mr Shin (owner of this chain) for creating such a great deal with yummy Korean foods that help me eat for balance and wellness. Thank you to the manager of this Des Plains location for doing an excellent job! If I could, I would eat here everyday. You won't be disappointed. Free and ample parking in the mall and it's right next to Panera. “We were so happy to find that Little Joey's was still here after we moved away from the area for 14yrs! We started getting pizza from Little Joey's when they first opened - our son Joey was 5 or 6 at the time, so it was perfect! Now, their pizza quality has remained very good! We love their Chicago style deep dish, simple pepperoni or sausage, or even getting a spinach and garlic pizza is nice. Most of the time we get a Greek salad to go along with the pizza. Our favorite local pizza place! (We just miss the delivery van with the phone on top when they first opened ☹️)....“
