“This is hands down our favorite restaurant. We eat here at least twice a week, and the consistency is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. The service is warm, efficient, and always welcoming. The chicken skewers are outstanding. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked just right every time. They are flavorful without being heavy, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. The Greek salad is equally impressive. Crisp vegetables, generous feta, balanced dressing, and always fresh. It is simple, but done exceptionally well. When a restaurant can deliver this level of quality consistently multiple times a week, that says everything. We highly recommend it.“

“My wife and I have been to Petite Vie several times over the last few years. For the handful of times we've been there, we've enjoyed the great food.

However, the service is equal to the food, which helps in rounding out a restaurant that you'll want to come back to. Also, there's a nice, lively atmosphere that we enjoyed during our time there.

The food was on point and presented beautifully. The wine list was well represented with nice selections of bottles and wines by the glass.

The pancakes were not that great, they were a bit spongy and didn't taste as good as I'd like but pretty standard for a breakfast place

“The first time I went i wasn't impressed. I say this because the rice and black beans wasn't great. The sandwhich was not toasted enough. But I went when they have a buffet on Sundays and the rice and black beans was still okay but everything else tasted great. They had red beans which tasted great. They had fresh salad, toasty cubano sandwiches, Maduro, plantain chips, lechon was tasty and fresh, fresh cut bread with butter. They had flan which I'm not a big fan of but this flan tasted great. Also arroz con Leche. Servers was attentive and informed us of different favorites spoke English and Spanish. Restaurant is off Oak Park so street parking only.“

“After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer. “We have dined at First Watch in Florida and were thrilled to find that they opened a location in our neighborhood! There was a wait for tables when we arrived so we sat at the bar for brunch. Our server was so friendly and attentive. My husband had Carna Asada Queso Hash and I had the Million Dollar breakfast sandwich with egg, gouda, sausage, bacon and hot honey on a toasted English muffin. So delicious!!! They habe the most flavorful Bloody Mary's as well. The portions are huge by the way! By the time we left there was an even bigger wait for tables. So glad we have First Watch close by to enhance our brunch options! Worth the wait and every penny spent! We'll be back soon!“
