“There was a really bad accident this morning ...a car flew into the store and destroyed everything and now boarded up. for anyone wondering...no one was injured thank goodness...they are temporary closed until everything goes back in place... for the person who left a 1 star review because they closed...Shame on you! There are high school kids and young adults working there..someone could've been hurt or injured..things could be worst! “I love this specific location of Uni Uni because the staff are sweet and helpful. Today I walked in and the store was pretty empty except for an employee and a man who I think was a supervisor or manager. He was loudly berating his employee because she said he shouldn’t allow people to come in after closing and continue to order when they need to close the store and be out on time. He insisted that respect goes both ways and cited employees reading or being on their phones while it was slow. It was pretty disappointing to hear someone of authority equate these two actions when one forces employees to do extra labor and one is relatively harmless. The drinks I ordered came out quickly and the girl behind the counter was the sweetest. I hope their managers treat them better.“

“been here a few times, each is better experience that the last, attempt to try most of their items on menu. So far, my favorite is their Mango smoothies with cloud cheese, as drink. Their cloud cheese is really good and a balance of salty taste with the sweetness of the mango, the tapioca in the drinks is plentiful but not overpowering the water content. I had it in other Chinatown restaurants, some had too many tapiocas that my teeth were tired chewing them. Cuckoo is not. Their Don (Japanese rice bowls) and their bibimbap (Korean rice bowls) are excellent. Have not decide which is better because each have their own uniqueness and tastes; I had 2 types of their bibimbap before and only 1 type of their Don. So far, I am leaning towards the Don but there is excellent amount of veggie in their Bibimbap, which is ideal for weigh concise person. Wish they have a loyal customer rewards style of drinks incentives, much like some restaurants, for example, buy 9 and get 1 free drink, or some % off after 5 drink purchases, and give customers an advertisable nice pocket size reward card to keep track of their purchases. That may also work with food item purchases as well. Crossing my fingers that this may happen soon. With summer in Chicago, cool refreshing drinks is ideal and as loyal customers, return for more drink purchases with rewards will be even better.“

“This is one of the best Boba shops in Roger's Park. When I'm in the area, I enjoy taking a walk over to get a drink here. TBaar has an extensive menu of drinks and food. I enjoy having lots of options and the ability to try something new each time I visit. The shop is beautiful and always clean. The employees are friendly and hard working. On this visit, I ordered the Brown Sugar Bubble Coffee. It was really good. I have ordered milk teas, green teas and lemonade from here, all which have been delicious. This place is definitely a must stop if you want a great drink while in Roger's Park!!“

“Drinks and efficiency are 5/5. Best fruit tea in the area. It’s super cute with the couch and flowering tree, there’s some games, and good music. Accessibility is poor tho. I am using a temporary mobility aid, and there’s a couple inch step before the first door, plus no button to automatically open the doors. The path to the bathroom today was also very narrow due to lots of boxes, and I couldn’t get my wheelchair in (at least today). Seems like fixable things; add a small cement ramp by the door, clear the hallway, add a door button. :) I really do love this place overall and have even gotten a cute plushie keychain here too!“

It was busy when we walked in with lines for those wanting to get there bubble / boba tea. There was a great menu of options to choose from and a nice sitting area to relax, and enjoy the drinks. Staff were quick and busy filling in the orders that were coming in. This is located in Chinatown near the Chinatown square. Great spot and delicious boba teas!
