The table had as a couple of the entrees, a beyond burger and a walleye dish. These 2 dishes were absolutely remarkable. The fish was prepared perfectly. The burger was juicy and flavorful. The chef is a highly trained Japanese chef and his skills are reflected in the exceptional quality meat choices, appetizers and soups. Real charcoal made of specialty hardwoods give the meats that unique smoky flavor. “The Peking duck three ways is the absolute move. The fried rice is good The egg rolls are excellent and the Chinese broccoli and bok choy are the bomb. They were low on beers as far as selection but everything else is always top notch here. Make sure you get a reservation because they can sell out of duck fairly quickly“
“I rarely write reviews but after our meal from Cluckers, I felt I must. Our first time getting food from Cluckers/Wilmette and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The first impression was the very friendly and efficient staff. Lovely to deal with! Then the meal...no fast food flavors here, it tasted more like homemade! Every aspect of our dinner was delicious: chicken, cornbread muffins, slaw and Caesar salad. No doubt we will be back to try something else!“

“The food was delicious. I had the rack of ribs and they were great. The jalapeño cheese sauce was a really good dip for the fries. Everyone at my table enjoyed their food. The service was great. Our server Colleen did an amazing job accommodating our needs in such a busy establishment. The atmosphere was fun. They had trivia night while we were there and you could tell it was a pretty big deal amongst the locals. The guy running the trivia was a star! His personality is great for it. This is definitely a place where the local people go which made it even better. We were even blessed with a Will Perdue citing. He is in one of the pics sitting with his family. “Great place to have a casual meal with friends or family. Not sure if you need a reservation but we made one for a Friday night just in case. Sat at a round table with cushy comfy chairs. You scan a QR code on the table, order what you want and keep your tab open. Our friends did the same on their own phone so at the end there was no awkward; how much do we each owe? situation. I wanted a beer flight but had no idea what to order so I waved down someone by the bar. I told him I usually like Blue moon, Stella, and coronas so he told me to order the "light flight" So I did and I loved all three choices. For my meal I had the Lobster Roll with a side of fries. My husband got the Chimichurri Arrenchera Sandwich and we split a large Mac and Cheese. My lobster Roll was packed with meat. So good and I was glad I got it. My hubby loved his sandwich as well. Neither of us were fans of the Mac and Cheese and I thought the seasoned fries could have been better. I will definitely come back to this hidden gem. I'm looking forward to sitting outside when the weather gets nicer.“

“Nice place. Food was quite good as was the old fashioned. I was in the bar so the server was the bartender and I managed to get great service. They had wonderful deviled eggs. The baked onion soup was tasty - on the sweet side- the melted cheese could have been crisper. The medallions were overdone but still were tender (?!? How did they do that) and flavorful. Didn’t care for the creamed spinach but maybe that is my taste. The au gratin potatoes were quite good. I was quite annoyed with the surcharge. It said I could ask to take it off but it came off the tip. Big business wins again. The menu was quite limited.“
“5 star food and service every time. Tonight we had the pleasure of being waited on by Lupe. Lupe is very passionate making sure he provides excellent customer service for his guests. He knows the menu and explained it in great detail at our table. He offered suggestions when asked and the suggestions were spot on. We started with the corn bread which was warm and the soft butter only made it better. For dinner most of our table had ribs. The ribs were cooked to perfection with the sauce ratio being spot on. You can taste the freshness of the ribs let me tell you, delicious! A few ordered the NY Strip steak with the added optional char, it was amazing. “This has been my go-to shop for broasted chicken. Quaint little hole-in-the-wall place for good quality, fresh food. I have not yet had any negative experiences with their chicken, apart from maybe the occasional soggy bits on the otherwise crispy skin, but that could be attributed to the chicken steaming inside of the box during the car ride home, so it is best eaten as quickly as can be devoured to experience max deliciousness and freshness. I have been ordering take-out from them for several years and hopefully will continue ordering from them for several more years to come.“

“So me and my girlfriend were walking on the sculpture park path when we saw (and smelled) this restaurant. We were both hungry and felt lazy to cook at home so we decided to drop in. From the outside it looked like a sit down restaurant, but when we went in it was more of a fast food Greek gyro joint with no d (nothing wrong with that in my opinion). We both got a gyro sandwich and shared an onion ring side. We got our food pretty fast and it was delicious! However, I do think they kinda went overboard on the onions but that's probably just me. Would recommend this place heavily for a quick bite to eat.“

From ribs to brisket, pork belly to sweet potato, everything was dynamite. And enhanced with the homemade bbq sauces, this was such a treat. Gus puts so much love and effort into the meats he prepares, you owe it to yourself to try this place. “It's been too long, Gale Street Inn! We missed the mouth-watering ribs, the classic cocktails, the skilled staff. Well, last night we finally made it back, along with couple friends visiting from Germany, and boy, you did no disappoint! Our friends were duly impressed with the classy supper-club-like atmosphere (we had to explain "supper club"), the size and flavor of the succulent ribs, the melt-in-your-mouth salmon, and a small, but well-curated beer selection. “We enjoyed dinner after a concert at the Winnetka Chapel. We enjoy sitting at the bar for quick service so we did and Raphael was our server. He was so nice and attentive. I had a delicious Blackberry and Bourbon cocktail to start while Craig had a craft beer. Lots to choose from for dinner! I wanted something light so chose the Beet and chicken salad. It had a light dressing on really fresh greens and freshly roasted beets and mandarin oranges. Craigs salad was Ahi Tuma on greens. I loved the marinade and intense freshness of his salad. Both salads had tender protein and very fresh greens. We loved the ambience and the personal attention. The staff all said good night as we left. If you want to watch soccer, the bar will accommodate.“
