All the veggies (carrots, daikon, cilantro, cucumbers) were fresh. The sauce was a perfect amount which brought everything together beautifully.“

I tend to get the peach slush with cheese foam, and recently tried the yogurt with crystal and it was yummy - trying to branch out and try their other drinks and so far nothing has disappointed me! The mango lemonade drink was certainly refreshing for a hot summer Chicago day. The black tea boba milk tea was nicely balance in terms of taste and sugar. The milk tea wasn't too sweet at all, which I like. The amount of tapioca pearls you get is adequate for the size.

It was busy when we walked in with lines for those wanting to get there bubble / boba tea. There was a great menu of options to choose from and a nice sitting area to relax, and enjoy the drinks. Staff were quick and busy filling in the orders that were coming in. This is located in Chinatown near the Chinatown square. Great spot and delicious boba teas! I usually grab the Big Bird sandwich too—it’s huge, juicy, and filling enough to last me through classes. The staff is friendly and it’s such a nice break from the usual campus food.“

“My wife and cousin bought drinks from this place. The young gentleman that made our drinks was very friendly and polite. After receiving our order we had to leave in a hurry as we were heading to a meeting. My wife accidentally left her purse containing her cards, cash, IDs and most importantly her medications on one of the seats inside. Unfortunately she didn’t notice that her purse was missing until later that night and the store was closed by then. Needless to say she didn’t get a good nights sleep as she was worried that she wouldn’t see her purse again. The next day she came back not really expecting anything but got a pleasant surprise when the young guy(not the same as the one who served us) that opened the store handed her back her purse with everything still intact. With the terrible things we hear and see in the news and oftentimes we experience ourselves, it’s amazing to know that there are still decent and honest people out there and especially in this store. “been here a few times, each is better experience that the last, attempt to try most of their items on menu. So far, my favorite is their Mango smoothies with cloud cheese, as drink. Their cloud cheese is really good and a balance of salty taste with the sweetness of the mango, the tapioca in the drinks is plentiful but not overpowering the water content. I had it in other Chinatown restaurants, some had too many tapiocas that my teeth were tired chewing them. Cuckoo is not. Their Don (Japanese rice bowls) and their bibimbap (Korean rice bowls) are excellent. Have not decide which is better because each have their own uniqueness and tastes; I had 2 types of their bibimbap before and only 1 type of their Don. So far, I am leaning towards the Don but there is excellent amount of veggie in their Bibimbap, which is ideal for weigh concise person. Wish they have a loyal customer rewards style of drinks incentives, much like some restaurants, for example, buy 9 and get 1 free drink, or some % off after 5 drink purchases, and give customers an advertisable nice pocket size reward card to keep track of their purchases. That may also work with food item purchases as well. Crossing my fingers that this may happen soon. With summer in Chicago, cool refreshing drinks is ideal and as loyal customers, return for more drink purchases with rewards will be even better.“

“Tried this location this past August mainly for the sake of my 9-year-old son who loves CBT. We just got done eating dinner so naturally I have to ask him what he wanted for dessert.

Just like any other Chill parlor, delivers the same consistent taste which isn't necessarily the best tasting bubble tea but definitely not the worst either.

I've heard some ppl describe it as the McD's of bubble tea being it's not deemed authentic like other higher quality Asian chains and originated from Chi-Town.

Honestly it's not that bad at all and the older of my 2 sons claims it's his favorite brand in which case it was the very first bubble tea he drank (Taro) just before his 3rd birthday at the Hawthorn Mall location.

We live pretty far northeast in Lake County in Beach Park but if ever in the area again and my son gets that craving for CBT, we'll be back in. Hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).“
