“Service was amazing and ice cream was excellent! We went without reading reviews with our 3 year old. He doesn’t scare easily, but the super loud music and scary animal farm theme was… a lot. Just not what I normally expect at an ice cream “shoppe” (shoppe with that spelling always has a quant vibe), with quotes on the walls about dead humans and such. Clearly a lot of love goes into the decor, and I’m not tucking anyone else’s yum- hence the five stars. But I did worry that the mannequins and paintings might give a young kid some nightmares. Fortunately he mostly looked at the ceiling, which is a super cool cloudscape. So, yeah. Amazing service, ice cream, and super friendly… just feels at odds with the decor.“

“Kandy Krush Melt was an absolute delight! The service was top-notch from the moment we walked in — warm, friendly, and super attentive. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and felt welcome. The food? Simply amazing. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the presentation was beautiful too. “They have the best ice cream! So good I normally only eat 1 scoop but when I go here I get 2 or 3 because they're so good. The employees are so nice, especially the teenage girls. The girl with blond highlights and the girl with dark hair are so sweet! On vacation I went to a gelato place, thier gelato was FULL OF SUGAR all I tasted was sugar but here I actually taste the flavor. The flavors are so good. I 100% recommend the banana and strawberry .I would have given this place six stars but it only goes up to 5.“

“Jeni’s is definitely a spot if you love ice cream and will be at least top of your list. Wow my root beer & toasty s’mores flavored ice cream - very very tasty!!! Others had gooey butter cake, cookie dough & peanut butter with chocolate flake spectacular as well. Next on my list is pink bubble gum and the lemon bars.“

“Let’s face it. There are La Michoacana ice cream stores on every other block on North Clark. We stopped here for dessert and it’s easily our favorite! The helado (ice cream) is to die for! The coconut is outstanding as is Abuela’s Chocolate. There are regular flavors and some (Rum Raisin!) are so creative and delicious. And the paletas! The BEST Arroz, Fresa, Mango, Coconut...the list goes on. And the couple that run the place are just the sweetest people! Highly recommended.“

“We love these cookies! The chocolate chip is always a family favorite but we like the fun of the variety too. Curbside or delivery service are a huge plus!

“We have bought an ice cream cake and came here for an ice cream treat. Store does not have indoor seating but their service is fast and friendly. Blizzard flavors change throughout the year.
Getting in and out of the restaurant can be tricky and there is limited parking behind the restaurant.“

“Immigration continues to benefit this country in so many ways, even foods we consider US staples are being perfected by communities of new Chicagoans bringing their unique skills from abroad. Before we had paleterias in Chicago we were limited to a few boring flavors in chains like Baskin Robbins. In my opinion, the best ice cream in Chicago is found at paleterias and Paleteria Las Delicias de la Michoacán is the best in Rogers Park. There are endless unique flavors to choose from here, all of the ice cream is made fresh onsite and every flavor I have tried is delicious! You cannot beat the quality and variety of flavors that Paleteria Las Delicias de la Michocana offers.“

“I'm so thrilled this spot never closed! It has the most friendly staff and great soft serve that suits me and mine. Our family loves to stop here on the way out of town, and it is always packed! I think the parking is weird but because the staff is quick, we don't wait long.

“The best yogurt shoo I’ve been to across many cities and states.
The shop must have a very good manager, it is always kept very clean (you can see the staffs cleaning the spot, like every minute) and the quality of yogurt is always on spot, with many good toppings.“
“I came here with my kids who were really excited for ice cream and boba, and we were very happy with the quality and service. Superman milkshake was so good, strawberry smoothie with tapioca was my favorite! We all had a blast and Jerry made us feel very welcomed! This will definitely be our ice cream and boba spot.“

“They have delicious ice cream and the staff was so friendly. We werent sure what flavor to pick, and the workers were glad to reccomend flavors to us. Definitely pricier, but still creamy and delicious. I would recommend the peanut butter cookie dough for sure! The line was short and we got served right away. Also, they give big scoops which is nice.“

“My husband walked by Graeter’s with our daschund Teddy today. One of the employees was handing out super cute Graeter Icecream dog leashes and a cup of dog icecream. What a treat! We already loved Graeter’s icecream and the delicious flavors, but now Teddy is a huge fan too! Thank you!“
