“The Banh Mi sandwich was honestly one of the best ones I've ever had. The lemongrass chicken was juicy and flavorful. The bread was exactly how it should be (crunchy outside, soft and fresh inside). All the veggies (carrots, daikon, cilantro, cucumbers) were fresh. The sauce was a perfect amount which brought everything together beautifully.“

“The workers here make great smoothies. I love the island green smoothie. And lately I get the detox island green (less calories) and I also add whey protein. This Tropical Smoothie is about a block away from 2 of Evanston's gyms (EAC and the Lifetime gym), so its a great location for a post-workout healthy and delicious smoothie.

“This coffee shop has the best atmosphere - inside AND outside! The inside was very clean and modern. Baked goods (cinnamon) were fresh and delicious as was the hot chocolate! Friendly staff.
The outside was my favorite part: Great for people-watching (large corner lot). Heaters were installed ON the awnings, which covered the entire table, and not just on a tall pole on part of the table. The best part was the doggy Biscuit Bar - awesome, varied dog treats and water on an outdoor cart. See photos

“Decided to pop in on a warm day in the pre-spring season and grabbed a feel good juice and tunacado….i don’t know what I expected from this sandwich, but it exceeded my expectations and then some. The bread is the perfect thickness and crunch, it’s like a panini but not at the same time. Definitely try a sandwich while you’re there!

“All hail Jamba Juice! It's back! Ever since my local North Shore Jamba Juice closed, I was a little down. But huzzah! Alas, recently, this location opened up in good old Evanston. The staff attended to me right away and made a delicious mango smoothie that I ordered. It was very quick and simple, not to mention delicious! I'm so glad that this place is back in my local area. In Evanston, it might be harder to find parking, but when I went I got a spot right in front of there. The whole family loves Jamba! In fact, my two year old son said the word "Jamba" before he could say "Dada"! Wouldn't you believe that?! Classic family story. Anyhow, enough about me... come to Jamba!“

My friend ordered a strawberry yogurt crystal boba lychee jelly and mango bursting boba and they said it was like they tasted a slice of heaven. “The froyo is delicious and they have great food selection too. I got tomato basil soup with pull bbq chicken and wow it was good. Combo for just under $10.

And the vibe/environment is so nice. Super comfy couches good music and plenty of things to do if you come with your kids. Lots of random games to use and some kids books too!“

“I was excited to see that they had updated their menu with new food and drink options for fall.

I tried the roasted oolong milk tea which was interesting. I'm always on the lookout for something that emulates the complex flavor of coffee without the jolt of caffeine. I personally would recommend doing 50% sugar and 50-0% ice as the tea flavor isn't very strong. I'm hoping I can try one of their chai drinks next time.

I also brought home the new mango Belgian waffle and was a bit disappointed. I was hoping for something lightly sweet as a snack, but no this is *very sweet* and firmly in a dessert category. The waffle itself seems both undercooked and grainy with sugar in some spots, and hard and dry in one spot like they were microwaved. Personally I'd rather have just a plain waffle made fresh, or at least to skip the mango syrup. But maybe I don't have the same taste as most customers :)

Lastly I was disappointed to see AI photos for their menu options. I feel like it's false advertising, and personally I'd much rather have actual photos or no photos at all.

Still, I prefer this bubble tea shop over the others in the area since they seem to use real tea and ingredients instead of cheap flavored syrups. I hope they can continue to improve!“

“How crazy is this. Going to Sunset Foods I saw this sign in the window of a storefront to the West. Fortunately I found BRIGHT BOWLS owned and operated by a Highland Parker named Lindsay. “This Sunday was super busy, we almost left to try again another time, but they had put up a sign with the wait times for coffee and food, which was such a thoughtful and considerate touch. In the end, our food came in about half the estimated time, and we got our coffee right away.

Since it’s a brand-new spot, the crowds made total sense. We still found a seat immediately, and even though the place was packed, the noise level was totally manageable. Everyone seemed in great spirits, and you could feel how delighted the community is about this opening. It’s definitely a wonderful spot for families.

The iced coffee and avo lox toast were delicious. It’s a café, so I’m expecting quality ingredients without anything overly luxe, and that’s exactly what they delivered. Prices were fair, and the service was lovely.

We’re lucky to have Hometown in the suburbs, and I’m looking forward to the Northbrook location opening!“

“My wife and cousin bought drinks from this place. The young gentleman that made our drinks was very friendly and polite. After receiving our order we had to leave in a hurry as we were heading to a meeting. My wife accidentally left her purse containing her cards, cash, IDs and most importantly her medications on one of the seats inside. Unfortunately she didn’t notice that her purse was missing until later that night and the store was closed by then. Needless to say she didn’t get a good nights sleep as she was worried that she wouldn’t see her purse again. The next day she came back not really expecting anything but got a pleasant surprise when the young guy(not the same as the one who served us) that opened the store handed her back her purse with everything still intact. With the terrible things we hear and see in the news and oftentimes we experience ourselves, it’s amazing to know that there are still decent and honest people out there and especially in this store. Kudos to these young lads and to the people who raised them.“

“Tried this location this past January after roaming around Northbrook Court and just as good as any LF location I've been to.

I apologize in advance that really the only thing I've ever had at any Liquid Fusion location for the most part is bubble tea.

Had the Strawberry Bingsu once which was good at the SW Northbrook location (it really is Glenview) but it's mostly the bubble tea my family & I come for.

My now 10-year-old son loves Taro bubble tea which is really the only flavor he's ever ordered in any boba house we've been to.

Good boba at fair prices in a clean & laid back atmosphere with friendly service. We live pretty far north in Beach Park but if ever in the area again, Liquid Fusion is a GO.“

It was busy when we walked in with lines for those wanting to get there bubble / boba tea. There was a great menu of options to choose from and a nice sitting area to relax, and enjoy the drinks. Staff were quick and busy filling in the orders that were coming in. This is located in Chinatown near the Chinatown square. Great spot and delicious boba teas! We will definitely come back when we visit this area again!“
