“Went out to eat yesterday with my boyfriend and we really enjoyed it! The owner (we assume) was super friendly and informative! Our appetizer included the fried shrimp which was so flavorful! Then we decided to split their 10lb “Ocean Medley” boil to get a good portion of everything. We personally would have preferred more juice and seasoning but overall it was good! ? He also recommended we try their ice cream which was amazing!! The flavors were perfectly subtle and delicious and went so well after our big meal!Overall a good experience and we will return again!“
“Epic, memorable lunch. We ordered steaks, and they were perfectly prepared and grilled. The strip steak was a perfect medium as requested, and my filet mignon was a delicious medium rare. No gristle, very tender. Barry, our waiter was accommodating, efficient, and flawless. We had 2 special requests that he honored without blinking an eye. Barry's not your run of the mill waiter. He's entertaining and funny without interfering in conversations. From beginning to end, it was a textbook perfect dining experience.“
“Diana made our anniversary dinner special. Seasons 52 holds a special place in our heart as the last place we had dinner with one of our beloved grandparents who passed. Our food was delicious and the service made us feel cared for. Thank you for making our night exquisiteDietary restrictions: We’re dairy intolerant and they were accommodating“
“The highlight of my dining experience was, without a doubt, the Barramundi. This dish is a testament to the chef's artistry and the kitchen's commitment to sourcing the freshest, most sustainable produce. The barramundi, a fish known for its buttery texture and delicate flavor, was cooked to perfection. Its skin was crisped to a golden hue, encasing the moist, flaky flesh within. It was served atop a bed of vibrant, seasonal vegetables, each bite a harmonious blend of earth and sea. Parker Restaurant is not just a place to eat; it's a destination for those who appreciate fine dining in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor passing through, a meal at Parker promises not only to satisfy your hunger but to leave you with a lasting impression of culinary excellence.“
“My dining experience here was great, our server was Matt, he was very attentive, made sure our experience was great. The food didn't take too long considering they had a big party going on while we were seated. Definitely recommend coming in here ! And ask for Matt he won't disappoint!“
“Came here with my wife while we were in town for a marriage conference. It was a busy Saturday night, but we had a reservation so the wait wasn't bad. Service was excellent and they got us helped very promptly, even with the full house!I ordered pollo marsala (pictured) with The Godfather (drink). Both were excellent! My wife ordered the pappardelle al nonno and she liked it as well. Great atmosphere as well. Would recommend the high tables if you're on a date as they're a bit more tucked away.Parking: We went on a Saturday evening (6:30 reservation) and didn't have any issues finding parking. Used the side lot which is shared by the other businesses nearby and found a couple spots immediately.“
“Overall, this was a decent steakhouse. My husband and I came here on the last day of restaurant week this year, as we love trying different steakhouses. The service was great and our server was attentive despite the busy dinner rush we had entered. The food was decent. For our starter, I got the SRF Wagyu Meatball with Whipped Ricotta and Basil Pesto which was very good. My husband got the lobster bisque which was a bit cold when we got it. For our entree, my husband got the center- cut filet mignon and I got the Double Cut Prime Pork Chop. Again, my dish tasted more on point than his. Both of our desserts hit the spot though! We got the hot chocolate cake and the hazelnut chocolate mousse! Overall, there were some slight misses but definitely a lot of hits!“
“Absolutely stellar experience on a Sunday Funday at Devon’s Happy Hour! Amanda is a top-notch bartender who truly rocked the house with her exceptional service. From start to finish, she ensured our experience was nothing short of amazing. If you’re looking for a fantastic time, be sure to swing by on weekends, especially Sundays, and let Amanda take care of you. Five stars all the way! Drinks and Apps were amazing and mannnnn that ?? is straight ?.“
“I had the shrimp and grits and it’s very delicious. It looks tiny but they give you so much shrimp and it’s very filling. The drinks are delicious and will get you a good buzz. They should play more yacht rock music to fit the vibes better imo. Other than that it’s a great place to eat and it deserves more attention.Parking: Plenty of parking available“
“A Taste of Italy - "Made in Italy Trattoria"From the moment my girlfriend and I stepped into "Made in Italy Trattoria," we knew we were in for an authentic Italian dining experience that would resonate with us long after the last bite. This family-owned jewel, nestled in the heart of our community, exudes the warmth and charm one would hope to find in a cozy corner of Italy itself. As an avid seafood aficionado who's had the privilege of sampling some of the nation's finest Frutti di Mare from bustling seafood ports like Boston and San Francisco, I approached my meal with high expectations. To my delight, "Made in Italy Trattoria" didn't just meet them; it surpassed them. The Frutti di Mare I had the pleasure of savoring here was the epitome of oceanic freshness, perfectly cooked, and harmoniously married with a sauce that was simply divine – the best I've ever had, bar none.My girlfriend's choice, the Salmon Limone, was a masterpiece of balance and flavor. The fish was succulent and tender, complemented by a zesty lemon sauce that brought out the richness of the salmon without overpowering it. Each forkful was a testament to the chef's ability to elevate simple ingredients to extraordinary heights. The heart of the kitchen, Chef Gennaro, graced us with his presence after our meal, allowing us to express our gratitude for the passion and expertise infused in his dishes. It's not every day that one gets to thank the artist for their art, and it was a personal touch that added to the already exceptional dining experience.Even though our dinner extended into the time when most restaurants would be preparing to close, the staff welcomed us with open arms and never once made us feel rushed or an inconvenience. Their hospitality was as warm as the ambience, making us feel like part of the "Made in Italy Trattoria" family. It's rare to find a place that not only promises authenticity but delivers it on every level. From the impeccable service to the exquisite cuisine, "Made in Italy Trattoria" isn't just a restaurant—it's a destination for those who appreciate the true essence of Italian cooking.Whether you're a local resident or a traveler passing through, I cannot recommend "Made in Italy Trattoria" enough. It's a restaurant where every dish tells a story, and every visit feels like coming home. My girlfriend and I will undoubtedly return, eager to explore more of the menu and relive the culinary journey that Chef Gennaro and his family so skillfully chart.“
“After reopening, this place changed more likely similar to the one in Glenview. It's better than before and I like it. The quality of food is great. You won't regret your money for the food and service. I highly recommend this place.“
“Came in on Thursday lunch and sat at the bar. Stephanie the lovely bartender, was friendly , polite , attentive , and gorgeous. She had a great personality and attitude. I ordered a bacon , mushroom, and Swiss burger (off menu) and she was more than happy to accommodate me. Turkey chili was fabulous and so was my Bloody Mary. Stephanie was a true professional! Will be coming back to see her in the near future!“
“This was the best Brazilian steakhouse we’ve been to! The meat was juicy and well seasoned without being overly salty. All the staff were very professional and friendly. The only disappointment was the salad bar did not have any sundried tomatoes or goat cheese. There were plenty of other options though.“
“The atmosphere in there is so positive. It was such a clean restaurant. The staff and our server were very helpful & super kind. The food was phenomenal and full of flavor! It tastes so fresh, you can tell they put good thought in each recipe.“
“Sensational quality (food, friendliness, cleanliness), in an otherwise meh part of town ("Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Romeoville anymore"). My only wish would be for them to have some hot offering on a cold winter's day (such as the miso soup another reviewer suggested they bring back, or even Gyudon, a Japanese-style thin-sliced beef and onions dish served atop a bowl of rice).“
“This is the BEST Poke Bros in the area! The staff are friendly and they offer a punchcard for frequent eaters. We love customizing our salmon & tuna poke bowls with cucumber, edamame, ginger, jalapeno, pineapple and so much more. Avocado, mango, and seaweed salad are $1 extra. Get the mochi (3 for $5.50), you have 13 flavors to pick from, including espresso, toasted coconut, passion fruit, cake batter, and purple ube!“
“I would definitely recommend if you are looking to try something new that is healthy and tasty. Their menu items and drink options are unique and I loved the smell of toasted coconut while enjoying my meal. Make sure to get one of the dole soft serves!“
“My family were in last night celebrating my father’s life in his passing. We have been dining regularly since the 1970s at the Orland location. This was my father’s favorite pizza by far. Always a sausage, green pepper, mushroom & onion-IN THAT ORDER ONLY! Marnee took excellent care of us & the pizza was exactly the same as I remember it at Orland! Keep up the great work! Cheers!“
“The food & service were great! Kelly was an excellent server and so patient with my autistic little brother. We enjoyed our burgers & the wings were great.Only con is that the women’s bathroom smelled horrible. It appeared to be clean, but the smell was really bad. Perhaps some bleach or re-tiling would do the trick.Overall, great experience. I just wouldn’t use the bathroom there.“
“Had the porkchops, it was enough for three people and was incredibly good. The restaurant is a well oiled machine, just getting people in, fed, and out the door. Everything was fine, no complaints. Just not relaxed and quaint for my taste but this is what you should expect from a good steakhouse in the center of a popular higher end shopping center. We went on a Saturday night and Parking was a nightmare.“
“This was my first dine in experience at this top quality fabulous restaurant. I truly enjoyed the baby back ribs, crab cakes, coleslaw and deviled eggs. The entire meal was scrumptious and so delicious!I will definitely be back for more quality food in a nice atmosphere, when I visit OakBrook, IL.Parking: Lots of free parking next to the restaurant“
“I dearly wish I had taken a photo of the Connecticut Roll when I enjoyed it at Black Horizon this past Saturday, Seafood is super fresh, and served up by a great bunch of Guys. Word of warning, reserve the Rolls in advance because they sell out quickly“
“I ordered on May 29th, and indicated that I have Celiac disease (gluten intolerance). I mistakenly ordered a portion of my bowl that included gluten ingredients. They attempted to call me twice (I missed it) to let me know. Even though I did not answer, they delivered the food with the gluten containing ingredient separate with a note to be careful. I am so impressed, and it is so hard to find safe places to eat as a Celiac. The extra care and time to make sure my food was safe really impressed me... not to mention the food was fresh and so delicious! I applaud the staff for their attention to detail and care, and am making Poke Bros a staple take out.“
“We went tonight for dinner and were shocked! As regular customers we were surprised by the UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT sign. We were also told NO ALCOHOL.Jose you and your family will be missed. We are saddened that we were unable to say ..you will be missed and your in our thoughts and prayers. We hope to see you again soon!Mike & Louise , your friends at the bar!“
“Visited "Catch 35" recently on a date and had a great time. The staff were very courteous, helpful and respectful. They explained things well, and made great recommendations. Hats off the the chef, the best cooked scallops I've ever had. All the dishes were delicious and my date loved it too. My only complaint would be the serving plates; they made the serving portions look small.“
“My 1st time here.Excellent place for good food and live entertainment. I had the largest fried Shrimp ever and they were amazing. We went for the fantastic Shindig 60's band, the top local band in the Chicago area. They were outstanding, as usual. The band stage was WAY too small but worked. It needs to be reconfigured to a larger size and the lighting needs to be adjusted because taking pictures didn't work.My suggestions :1. Remove the tv's since you're really not a good venue as a sports bar. Add more tables under the tv's.2. Expand the band area and include an area for dancing. Too many people were dancing around the tables.5 separate dining areas. Lots of seating.I rated 5stars because it was an exceptional situation with St. Patrick's Day, the staff was overwhelmed with the crowds but were amazing under the circumstances.03/16/24 was St. Paddy day celebration. We had a reservation 1 month in advance. Thank goodness. But we still waited 30 minutes for our table because the wait staff wouldn't get the previous people to leave our table. This needs to be adjusted.Parking: Free parking but on an occasion, like St Patrick's day, get there early.“
“Our server Aisha was GREAT! She spoke well, was patient, and very knowledgeable of the menu. You would think she was a senior server but only been with the restaurant for a few weeks. Aisha made the entire service beyond exceptional. The food was delicious and perfect.“
“A great place to try craft beers, warm atmosphere with live jazz, there are beer yoga classes on Sundays from 10 to 11 am 20usd per class with a pint of beer, I also highly recommend pinball tournaments.A great place to try craft beers, warm atmosphere with live jazz, there are beer yoga classes on Sundays from 10 to 11 am 20usd a class with a pint of beer, also pinball tournaments. Widely recommended.“
“Food was really good! The pulled pork sandwich was excellent! The burgers were delicious! The kids meals were good! I'm only keeping it at a 4/5 stars because we waited for almost an hour for our food. The waitress was great and everything about it was great! I would definitely recommend and go here again, just don't be in a hurry.“
“Title: A Flavorful Journey through Filipino Delights: A 10/10 ExperienceNestled within a welcoming atmosphere exuding family-friendly vibes, Val’s Kitchen Plus serves as a gateway to the heart of Filipino cuisine. During my recent visit, I was enchanted not only by the scrumptious dishes but also by the warm hospitality that defined the experience. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between cleanliness and an inviting aura, making it an ideal spot for a delightful dining escapade. It emitted the essence of a genuine family-oriented restaurant, welcoming patrons with open arms. However, what truly stood out was the impeccable service. The staff at Val’s Kitchen Plus were paragons of hospitality, displaying a genuine eagerness to ensure a memorable dining venture. Their attentiveness and friendliness added an extra layer of comfort to the entire experience, making it feel like dining among friends. Now, onto the stars of the show—the dishes. The palabok, with its vibrant medley of flavors, offered a harmonious blend of textures and tastes that tantalized the palate. Each bite of the meticulously prepared noodles coated in a rich, savory sauce, adorned with an array of toppings, left an indelible mark on my taste buds. The lumpia, a quintessential Filipino favorite, showcased culinary finesse at its best. Crispy on the outside and bursting with savory goodness within, it was a true testament to the artistry of Filipino cuisine.Among the desserts that crowned this remarkable culinary journey, the bibingka emerged as a standout. Its coconut-infused layers of rice cake, boasting a sweet, creamy texture, were a delectable revelation—a perfect marriage of tradition and flavor that left a lasting impression. In conclusion, my time at Val’s Kitchen Plus was nothing short of exceptional. From the savory delights of palabok and lumpia to the sweet finale with the mesmerizing bibingka, each dish resonated with authenticity and skillful preparation. Coupled with the inviting ambiance and the exceptional service, my overall experience surpassed expectations, earning it a resounding 10/10 rating.“
“This is real home cooked Chinese food! Very simple old school stall in a food court but don’t let the surroundings fool you. This place is worth the 45 min drive for me. Best Chinese food in Chicago imo. LOVE the scallion pancakes. Everything tastes “
“Loads of options on an attractive menu. Restaurant has a fun vibe with great tiles and flowers hanging from the bar. We went with another couple and ordered drinks that were all well done – we love the chips and homemade roasted tomato salsa that they brought to our table. We then shared the guacamole which was a generous serving and very fresh, I had ceviche with shrimp that was a generous mound served with avocados on top and it was delicious. The service – although they were trying really hard – was slow and very spotty. We ordered drinks and only three of the drinks came and about 10 minutes later the fourth drink came. All our meals came together except for my husbands which came about 15 minutes later, which didn’t make for a smooth me out together. The portions were generous, and the food was fresh, and I would definitely go back. For a family place, the music was blaring and unnecessary, there are a few areas that they could improve on but the reason we went was the food and it was fantastic.Parking: Loads of parking around the building at st the strip shopping center.“
“Food is AMAZING here, it's always fresh and ready in 10-15 minutes and comes with great sauces. Service was friendly and very helpful if you didn't like your food or if you wanted anything extra they were always ready to help! They also have some good vegetarian and vegan options!“
“OMG best little place in carol steam, I'm here Sunday night no one is here and I am wondering why, I had a drink called sunshine, it's pineapple, orange, strawberry juices is delicious. I had crab legs, corn, potato, eggs, salad came with meal, the dressing on salad was very different but soft and delicate, the crab was very clean, sweet and plenty. ordered the cajin house, mild still had a kick of spice but perfect. If I could give this place a 10 star it would get an 11. Fabulous delightful very quiet, server's was not a pest, but cleaned up right away. I still don't know why it's not packed. This is a must go to if your in carol stream IllinoisParking: Plenty of pull in spotsKid-friendliness: Tv, kids menue“
“The food was pretty good! We started with the shumai which came with a delicious spicy sauce. Our rolls were all pretty good, with our favorite being the turtle roll. The spider roll was probably my second favorite after that. The only thing we didn't love was our rolls came out in waves instead of all together which was kind of annoying, but maybe they were busy or something. Our waitress was also very kind. Overall solid dinner and we both agreed we would come back if we were in the area again.“
“My experience was great, but this was with the private catering service.I celebrated my mother's 70th birthday surprise party. I started the planning in late December. The event planners were great. My party had 23 guests and we used the Savoy room. The event planners answered all of my questions, and I had plenty. As questions came up, I was able to message them and I would receive an answer almost immediately, and on the weekends, I only had to wait 30 mins to an hour tops! With the event planning service, they had a portal where the documents, contracts, payment deposit, and online discussion were maintained. This helped streamline a lot of the tasks. The event was on a Sunday in April at 11am - 3pm. I knew how crazy parking can be at Oakbrook Center Mall, so I got there at 10:15, and I informed all my guests to promptly arrive at 11am; plus they needed to get there before my mom. :-)For all the late arrivals, they had to deal with the parking issues, but that was on them, not me. LOL!Also a lot of the guests were seniors with previous knee, hip and back surgeries - so I informed them not to park where the restaurants are, but behind the Neiman Marcus. Otherwise, they would have to climb a lot of stairs! That was the best accessible option. I wish there was an elevator available through the Beatrix restaurant; but oh well! When I arrived early, I was able to add my decorations and wait for my guests and mom to arrive. The host was fabulous - super duper attentive, and also provided options for those guests who had food allergies.Since I was in charge of the food planning, everything was delicious. We had Grilled Pepperoni Flatbread, Mediterranean Chicken Skewers, Spit-Roasted Herb Chicken, Barbecued Baby Back Ribs, Cedar-Planked Salmon, Red Skin Mashed Potatoes, and Roasted Market Vegetables. All of that for $36.95 per person (price at the time of my contract) with a minimum of $800 wasn't bad at all!!Everyone had a great time and experience, and my mom was super surprised. That was the best part about the entire day!“
“Customer service was superb but most importantly the food was so flavorful. We ordered calamari and crab cake for appetizer and we were blown away by the amount of crab meat in the crab cake. Wished the calamari had a better sauce for people who don’t like spicy food. For our entree we’ve had, Fish Taco, Shrimp de Jonge and the Fish of the Day. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. Celebrated a birthday here for lunch and even if there wasn’t a free dessert for the birthday celebrant, it was fine because service was great anyways.“
“Cedar plank salmon was delicious as was the whitefish and the wagyu steak. The crab cake is the best. Sarah our server Debby th manager and Jennifer the hostess were all so gracious. I left my credit card with the bill and they called me immediately. I turned around and went back and picked it up. Thank you!“
“Very clean and friendly service. Food is quality and presented nicely. Worth the price to pick off the menu or build your own bowl. Lots of choices, can't wait until my next trip.Parking: The lot is not part of the larger strip mall, it has its own smaller lot for the smaller strip mall it's part of“
“We have been regular customers here for years! Tonight we went in...UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT ! What?! Jose - you and your family will be missed. We hope you are doing well though!! You're in our thoughts and prayers. We did not stay as they also have NO ALCOHOL. We're so sorry we didn't get to say "take care and we hope to see you soon!" Mike & Louise at the bar!“
“Came here on a Thursday and had 4 quesabirrias because I don’t eat seafood. They were AWESOME, best I have ever had. Wife had the “small” ceviche which she could only eat half of, and she said it was great. Definitely worth giving this place a look. The other seafood options on the menu look great, and we will be back next Thursday.“
“This place is so good it’s apart of mariscos el costeño. I’ve been there a handful of times and all have amazing delicious food & the service is fantastic. I’ve had Gio pancakes & steak chilaquiles with salsa verde. So good and flavorful! Definitely will be back!! Definitely recommend for breakfast!“
“Family get together dinner, some had been here before and 3 of us it was are 1st time here. Very enjoyable dining. Owner stopped by table to introduce himself and see if we were enjoying the experience at his restaurant, very nice to see how he watched over everything. Very easy to read wine list and food menus as when you open them they light up. The atmosphere was very interesting as the building is an old church built in 1928 and converted to this restaurant. Stained glass, fireplace, vaulted ceiling, and ivy covered walls outside make this a very unique place. GREAT service, easy to carry on a conversation, many candles create a pleasant atmosphere. Will enjoy returning in the summer as they have outside dining too. If you want a pleasant dining experience, this is a place to try.Parking: Large public parking garage behind restaurant and a few street parking spots in front of restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: No real obstacles in the way, and elevator to allow access to additional seating on 2nd floor, washrooms are also located on 2nd floor .“
“We buy crispy smelt to go here and those are the best! So cruspy even the nect day. Second time we dined in last night. All the food we ordered are authentic chinese and so delicious. We ordered hongkong steak, kung pao chicken- perfectly cooked and the sauce and spiciness is not overpowering.; yeong chow fried rice is yummy too, salt and pepper chicken is not what we expected. We were expecting a chicken but this is chicken strips covered in batter but it turned out really good too. Service is fast and tge owner is akways nice. The place is a typical chinese restaurant with round rables and booth. They just need to remove the table where they put the bakery products, it's just in the way when you walk to the tables.“
“Best Pizza in the area. A real Chicago institution out here in Bolingbrook. I go to the Salerno’s on Grand and it’s so nice I thought I’d try this one. The pizza was just as good. 5 stars. Delivery came fast so that didn’t hurt. My new go to.“
“The Carol Stream Browns is the best! All the employees are great and the chicken and sides are always so good! Fried mushrooms are cooked perfect and the chicken always tastes so good, never tastes like old oil. Also love the onion rings and green beans. Best chicken around!“
“First time here and it was amazing! 4 adults and one baby, seated right away. Service was top notch, super friendly. Food was really fresh and soooo good, better than we expected for an all-you-can-eat meal! Lots of options on the all-you-can-eat menu, too. Sushi, Mochi dessert, salad, and apps were all excellent. We will absolutely be back!“
“Since New Wok hasn't reopened and prices at House of Emperor have slowly been raised thru the roof, we tried here and got 4 dishes we have ordered at many Chinese take out places or even in Chinatown. Here we go: Chicken Chop Suey-excellent! Sauce is tasty, plenty of bean sprouts and pea pods, good amount of tender chicken, trimmed nicely of any fat. Beef Fried Rice-very good. Although it had yellow onion instead of the more normal green onion, and scrambled egg was kinda sparse. Still very good. Beef With Broccoli-would have also been excellent except it had sweetness, I have always hated sugar added to my Americanized Chinese food. BBQ Pork Egg Foo Yung-same comment as the beef with broccoli. The gravy for the egg foo was VERY sweet. Too sweet for me! The only option is large which is 3 paddys not the usual 4. I think without the sugar it would have been very good. Purely take out here, it was obvious they used to have a sit down business at some point but not now. Extensive menu, see their website and either phone order or online order.“
“Super friendly guys in there. Great freezer case options, fresh seafood, salmon burgers are great. Lobster kits on Thursday. Fresh salads are nice. Sell misc such as cedar planks, grill tools, seasonings etc. Easy in n out. Grilled the salmon burgers tonight 6/15...fabulous!!!!“
“I had a Great Experience as soon as I entered the door and was greeted my Miss Christina (Carryout). She greeted me with a smile, and assisted me with my order. I just had to let the manager Miss Tammi know how Miss Christina made me feel after a long day of work. I said at the bar and Rob was awesome. He made me the best drink ever “June Bug”. And the food was delicious“
