“We celebrated our anniversary @ Lahody's tonight. It was a rainy Monday evening and pretty slow, but the hostess and our server, Kyle, were super nice! The food was really good too. My husband loved the clam chowder. I got the cattleman's burger and told Kyle that I was a fan of pickles and he understood the assignment! We will definitely come back and recommend to anyone we know who is looking for a nice place for dinner.”

“Visited on a weekday afternoon. I ordered the Black & Bleu Steakhouse salad but then was told they were out of the steak so I ordered the Brisket Tacos. Let me say the service was great. But whoever thought up the addition of Brisket Tacos on their menu must have been asleep or drunk. It was so unappealing I knew I was in trouble when she sat it down. Cold JERKY-like chunks of meat on a bed of raw sliced cabbage on a cold tortilla with a garnish of green onions & a squeeze of BBQ sauce is not appetizing at all. I don’t think I need to explain any further. Now imo, a nice serving of real brisket on a bed of coleslaw on a warm tortilla, that would be tasty!!”

The only reason for the 3-stars for ambiance is because the casino/betting area around the restaurant and the casino still allows smoking and the restaurant area smells like stale smoke.”

“Old school onion burgers with the onion in the middle of the burger. This is the oldest restaraunt in anderson and pretty famous. Its an old place..but a classic staple...you can always take it away if ya dont like the inside. You dont get burgers made like this anymore...unless you go here then you will...so get going!”

“I was so impressed with this little sub shop that I had to leave an exceptional review. The owner is also the person that will take your order and quite possibly be the person making your sub or salad. You can taste the love and pride that this sub shop owner has for his business. He hands you a clip board with everything he has available and all you do is just circle what you want. There are all kinds of meats, cheeses, vegetables and sauces for an infinite amount of combinations. This is a must stop shop.”

“Atmosphere: Great place to meet a friend or to come and study or work. There is free Wi-Fi, a (more than) generous amount of plug ins, a lot of comfortable seating, games, books (& children’s books), and clean restrooms. Also gotta point out that I love their area for small businesses to hang up cards/ flyers! 🫶 Food & Drink: Amazing ! Can’t remember what I ordered the last 2 times but that’s because each time I just talk to the people up front and tell them what I like, and they make something great for me! 🙂 Staff: As I mentioned above, they’re great! I also met the owner the last time I was here & he was so, so kind! Please come support this small business if you haven’t yet, and then.. Don’t stop (you won’t want to!) ;-)”

“Took my adult son to lunch at Toast Cafe today. The place’s decor is ‘50’s fun. Clean and casual. Food was delicious and filling. Son had eggs and French toast; I had chicken sandwich with onion rings. Service was good and wait staff were pleasant. Much better than anticipated.”

“Wow. This place is amazing !! Their pizza, sandwiches , salads and apps are so yummy. I have never had anything to eat here that wasn't good. However, today they did something to make me a life long customer. I ordered a pizza to take home, On the way home I got an emergency call I had to go help with immediately. Sadly the pizza got left in my very hot car for 2 hours. I called Arts and asked a manager if they thought it was still safe to eat. They just were not sure, so they said bring it back and we will make you a new one, no charge. What!! This was not their fault. I left it in the car, I didn't ask for anything yet they stepped up to offer me a replacment . I live 45 min. away so I didn't go back, but their kindness was unbelieveable.. I am an Arts girl from now on !!”

“Ribs, brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, and EVERY side dish are the BEST I have ever eaten. Smoked Banana Pudding!! AMAZING!! Yes, we also had to try the pork tenderloin sandwich—hands down, absolutely delicious! I really can't express how wonderful this place is enough. In every aspect, it is incredibly tasty. We were in the area for a concert, and we tried Nerdy BBQ, which is without a doubt the best I've ever had. Friendly employees and atmosphere. WE WILL BE BACK. I guarantee you won't find anything better. Thank you for the BEST experience and amazing delicious food!!”

“It was overpriced hospital food, not hot!! I ordered the Pot Roast with potatoes & carrots, it was warm with a brown gravy that was overly salty. There was no potatoes & carrots. I ordered Mac n Cheese as a side, it was warm and gross. The 2nd side of greenbeans w/bacon was also warm but tasted the best of the whole plate! If I had known there was no potatoes & carrots as the menu says I would have ordered mashed as a side. The waiter who seated us wanted an answer about our drinks immediately as he rudely hovered over and wouldn’t let us look at the menu. It took a decade to get our bill and pay. I won’t go back!”

“Took my parents when they came to visit a few weeks ago and we were all impressed with the portion sizes and taste of our food. We all had breakfast and everything was delicious. Food came quickly even though they were busy on a Saturday morning. I highly recommend the feta and spinach omelette, it was incredible and huge. Plus came with bacon, hash browns and pancakes (which were also amazing). We decided it will be our go to spot for breakfast every time they visit.”

“I picked up several items at the Gluten Free Indy Spring Market today, They are all amazing! The lemon blueberry cupcake may be the best cupcake I’ve ever had. I will be watching for them to be available. After trying the apple fritter bites, I panicked for a minute that I ate something that wasn’t gluten free. Knowing darn good and well it was gf. They are that good. It’s been so long since I’ve had anything like that. I also tired the peanut butter dream bar and lemon drop cookies. Both of those were also amazing! I really don’t think you could go wrong trying any of the products from Reynolds Roost Bakery.”

He noticed my Grandma getting out of the car and immediately stepped in and helped her every step of the way. He called in and had a table ready for us. He came by numerous times to check on her. “Today was my first visit. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, the service, and the quality of the food! And the pricing! I had a western omelette and pancakes with hashbrowns, and everything came out perfectly. I asked for the hashbrowns to be extra crispy, and they were! I asked for extra butter, and it arrived with the pancakes. My wife and I were short on time, and were in and out of the restaurant within 40 minutes! On a Sunday! I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.”

“I was so happy to find a panaderia in our small town of Anderson! The sweet breads and baked goods are delightful. I so appreciated getting the tres leches cake made for my daughter's birthday there, many people fell in love with that deliciously fresh sweet (but not too sweet) cake! “Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken has been a staple in Anderson for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a small town like Anderson has places you can't find anywhere. Lee's is one of those for me. Unfortunately, my cancer diagnosis doesn't allow me to eat the gizzards like I once did, but now my go-to is the spicy wings. They are not hot, but just enough heat to flavor them perfectly, at least for me.”

“My family often comes to the Anderson Chicken for meals. My children love the clean and safe play area while we wait on our food. The drive thru is very quick, easy, and friendly. This facility is always clean and I feel safe having my children use their restrooms. The food is always hot, and I often try different things to mix up my food choices. My current favorite is the Turkey Wrap, but you can never go wrong with some grilled nuggies, in the Mac n cheese with some buffalo sauce on top!”

There is one complaint I have…The waitress made it a point on how she gets certain privileges for good surveys. So we commented that we would do the survey after we paid on the little computer. After we ate My husband paid with the waitress looking over his shoulder. Then she took the computer away before we could think about the survey. A few minutes later when she came back, I asked oh what about the survey. She told us she filled it out herself! Wait what??? Because she pulled that trick I am giving a 4 star rating. If that ever happens again it’s going down to 3.”

After a few opening glitches, all taken care of by competent management, they’re now the quality I’ve come to expect from other locations. Consistent menu with so many options, especially the pick two 1/2s where you can make an almost limitless variety of options. A bit pricier than than other fast food but worth it for homemade taste and generous portions. My only complaint about this store’s layout is there are only two single-person bathrooms, so there is usually an awkward wait. Maybe they expected Anderson to be mostly carry out business?”

Restaurant for several years. Have always received great food, good service, and friendly smiles. Breakfast, lunch or dinner - it doesn't matter. Good homestyle meals. Comfort food at its best! And a special hello to Debbie, the manager. She has been there for over 20 years (a long time to put up with me)😏. Debby is a problem solver, a support giver, and always a friendly face. What more could a customer want? Well . . . maybe to take home a package of freshly made Banana Nut Bread!”
