“My experience here was stellar, I got some of the best customer service I've ever had anywhere and the cake we got was amazing.

This place was the third bakery I had called looking for a basic same-day cake order, and unlike all the others who blew me off telling me to fill out an online form or wouldn't give me an approximate quote, Ivan at Joyce's Bakery was immediately helpful on the phone and answered all of my questions with patience. Ivan was so helpful in letting me know what they could offer, when they could get it done and how much it would cost that it sealed my choice in getting my order filled there, today and in the future.

There isn't a shortage of bakeries in the greenwood area but this place stands out as the finest; the cake we got was precisely what I ordered, a light but moist crumb with very light whipped cream icing, not overly sweet and just a perfect cake for a special birthday, and they did it all last-minute, same-day. I can't say enough good things, it's just not often you get such a good product with such great service for such a good price (our same cake was quoted at 3x-4x as much at other bakeries who demanded a 48 hour notice, just lol)

Parking: This place is BUSY, expect parking spaces in front of bakery are usually taken. Parking is close but off to the side. Once inside you'll be happy with the variety of pastries.“

“I ordered the smores pie, as well as the pb&j pie. Both were beautifully presented and tastes just like they sound. Most reviews say there is an over abundance of crust, and while i agree that there is a lot, the pies are rich and dense, the crust really breaks that up and also adds a little saltiness to the pie. The only issue i had was the price of the pie, $7 for 1 slice seems a bit steep. But seeing on their social media all of the steps they take to have the best ingredients and fully homemade pies, it is almost worth the $7. Would absolutely recommend! Thanks Pots & Pans!“

“This is the best place to get baked goodies in Indy. We went two days in a row recently.

Purchased the Banana choc chip cupcake, choc cookie, oatmeal pecan cookie, cinnamon roll croissant, ube guava croissant, buttermilk biscuit, oat peanut butter cookie, all 10 out of 10.

The baked goods are perfectly crisp on the exterier with moist/soft interiors. Texture and mouth feel on point, clean flavor, good quality ingredient taste.

The coffee special of the day was very good.

“I read a review in The Star about the best jambon sandwich in Indy. I normally live outside the US and I find the ham here so sweet. I knew if it was a proper jambon sandwich, the ham wouldn’t be sweet so I drove downtown to this restaurant specifically for this sandwich. It did not disappoint. The sandwich is simple; a baguette with lots of butter and excellent ham. It’s served with a small side salad with the perfect acid balance for the richness of the butter. The staff were so helpful and friendly ( as I said, not from around here) helping me navigate to a store that may sell the ham they use. I am on a mission today for that. They had other delicious European pastries and had a great rustic baguette. Kudos to the owners and management and staff. For me, definitely worth the drive!

“My husband and I order 8 dozen macarons from Circle City Sweets for our wedding and were not disappointed in the slightest! Not only did we have a wide variety of flavors to choose from, everything from the ordering, to the pick up was smooth and painless! “I regularly come in on my lunch break with coworkers that I have introduced to Sun & Moon. We were so excited that they just came out with new tacos and flatbread pizzas. The churros are filled with a raspberry jam (or what I believe is jam). Slightly tart but that what I want in a raspberry jam. The Danish has a glaze that gives the pastry a sweetness to satisfy any sweet tooth. And the cannoli has a sweet cream filling with each end being dipped chopped pecans topped with chocolate sauce. I am writing the rest of the review in Hindi because I am telling it only to Indian people - the price is very high in comparison to the price. I spent around $17 on a regular ginger chai and a kathi roll. Chai Wagh Bakri brand is instant I think, because I have brought the same brand home so I have got the taste. The 3 flavors that are being sold (masala, adrak, and elaichi) are the same 3 flavors that are available in Indian stores. Additionally, the paratha used for the kathi roll was not freshly made, instead it was frozen paratha of Kawan brand (I also learned this because I brought the same at home). Overall I could tell their clientele is mostly liberal people who don't know the difference and are fond of drinking “chai tea” and “tumeric latte”, so they fully support Dukaandaaro's plan (min cost max profit), but overall If you are Indian you will definitely notice what I have noticed. I have been able to enjoy the sweets for nearly 10 years. A vendor would bring them into work.

I have had the Danish, which I wanted today, but they were sold out. The cinnamon rasin bread is delicious.

Today, we selected a few sweets to taste. Oatmeal cookie, eclaire, lemon bar, and flourless chocolate cake.

As usual, everything was great!

On Friday, with less than a 24 hrs, Yiselle//or whatever the sweet young lady’s name was took my order and full payment (which was a fairly affordable price might I add) and by Saturday noon the cake was ready for me to pickup. I was so amazed with the outcome and so thankful! I added the ribbons myself to cake which definitely was just the cherry on top! I also grabbed a tres leche cake which was so good!
