My husband David treated us to a delightful dining experience for Valentine's Day Eve. (I love dining "off holiday" for a more peaceful pace.) We've dined at Salt on Mass many times and continue to be thrilled with our experience. We reserved through Open Table and were seated immediately with our on-time arrival. I love a table with a view of the room's comings and goings, so #41 was ideal, again. We were welcomed by our server Ryan, who explained he was also our bartender. (Love it - special insights on cocktails and wines.) He served us well, attentive but not too much so, and we loved his creative chocolate martini as our "appetizer." :-) We chose our dinner favorites - Chilean Sea Bass with delectable risotto for David and Salmon with expertly grilled asparagus for me. The portions remain appropriately generous, so we split the Key-Lime Chiffon Cake for dessert. Congratulations Johnny and crew for delivering another memory-making visit. The standard to Eat to Live, it's there, and you can taste it and feel it. The buttered cabbage...it's just great. I don't know what kind of butter they use or what they put in it, but it's 🔥🔥🔥🔥. I always get two because it's nothing like it, lol. I also got the Grilled BBQ Salmon burger, chefs, kiss cause, WHAT, LOL!!! So freaking good, like I can't even express how happy I am that they are back open. The cabbage alone will keep me coming back. I'm just excited. “The manager working at 4:30pm or so Saturday, May 6, 2023 was excellent! We called ahead and when we arrived there were 2 large parties seated and a few tables. After waiting about 15 minutes we asked the host how long it would be, were they short staffed etc. Unfortunately the host talked so quietly and did not seem to be able to answer our questions. When I asked for the manager she said they were short staffed and I would have been happy with just that. Instead, she had us seated in a few minutes and took care of us herself until our server was free. This was above and beyond in my opinion! Our server was also excellent! Highly recommend this Carrabba’s! I’m so sorry that I don’t remember names but both the manager and our server were excellent!“

Our server greeted us promptly and set the tone for the evening with friendly professionalism. We started with the shrimp cocktail, which lived up to its reputation huge, perfectly chilled shrimp with that signature spicy cocktail sauce that Harry & Izzy’s is famous for. It’s an absolute must-try appetizer.

For the main course, I had the New York strip steak, cooked to a flawless medium rare. The flavor was outstanding tender, juicy, and seared beautifully. My companion ordered the filet mignon, which was equally excellent, paired with creamy mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in preparation really stood out.

The service was efficient and attentive without ever feeling rushed. Drinks were refilled promptly, and the server checked in just the right amount. The wine list was impressive, and our server helped us choose a Cabernet that complemented our steaks perfectly.

For dessert, we shared the bread pudding with bourbon caramel sauce, and it was the ideal finish warm, rich, and beautifully presented.

All in all, Harry & Izzy’s delivers a top-notch dining experience that rivals any high-end steakhouse, but with a friendlier and more relaxed feel. Whether for a business dinner, a date night, or a special occasion, this place never disappoints. Absolutely five stars from me.“

“Ordered Kitchen sink. Fish, Clams, shrimp and crab cake were incredibly delicious. I had an issue with the 4 percent discount for cash not being honored. I got a business card from them and emailed as soon as I got home.

They replied quickly and escalated to someone higher up and was asked to call. Spoke to Molly Caplinger for 16 minutes and she was so nice, professional and understanding. Sent me a gift card for my troubles and appreciated me bringing the issue to their attention. I will be back! This is how you do business right!!“

“Reminds me so much of my trips to China ten years ago. Small food stand with a few seats in a random grocery store.

The food is legit authentic…maybe the last one standing in Indy. Don’t believe the review that states there’s only one or two pieces of beef in the noodle soup. Just finished a bowl and there was plenty of beef…just the right ratio. I mean, give me a break, if you want a bowl of beef, go elsewhere. 🤣
