“Was feeling a bit under the weather today my second time having strep throat in three weeks. Yuck. . So Jack picked up some pizza for dinner. And I have to say for a casual pizza place Domino’s was really good. I was very impressed. And I know that the location is locally owned by a Carmel Family. Everything was hot and fresh and the toppings were plentiful. The crust was soft and tasty. I was very impressed, even with it being a more affordable pizza place. …..I thought they did a really good job …so a shout out to them. 🍕 🍕 🍕“

The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a great meal.But what really stood out was the exceptional service. Our server, a lovely young woman whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, was outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was top-notch and even gave my kidos stickers at the end of our meal. “10-3-2024 -Just an update on my review. I ordered a 10" meat feast pan pizza and it was delectable. The got it to me very quickly. It arrived hotter than you can put in your mouth. It was delicious and looked great too when I opened the box. Still extremely happy with this Pizza King!

Previous review: I have gotten pizzas from Pizza King for years -- and they are great -- but, I have never gotten a sandwich or anything else from them. I ordered the Beef Boat Deluxe, whole sandwich and it was incredible. Frankly, I would have gotten the half order if I had realized how HUGE it is. The Beef Boat deluxe is a full 12" long sub sandwich with shaved roast beef, lettuce, tomato, mayo and brown gravy. It was delicious and, I should say again, it was HUGE. Frankly I got a real amazing value for the price. It also came with a big bag of ruffly potato chips and a pickle spear. I could have gotten a 12" sub at one of the other johnny sub-station way type of shops, but none of them make it this big and delicious. I'll be ordering again from Pizza King soon. Maybe the stromboli next time? Wow!“

“Not a bad place for lunch. Decent pizza and a nice salad. I got the \"Lunch Box\" which is the special. Along with that you get a reusable cup and two tootsie rolls (which was kind of cute). My biggest complaint was the music was a weird electronic smooth jazz. Other than that, it was a nice stop.“

“I don’t know who answers the phone at the Downtown location. But she is so nice and so professional. She helped me with the situation and was as kind as I would ever want to expect from somebody. “We ate in at Blaze. Suffice to say, I’m a huge advocate. We were taken care of by Ruben and Allison. Allison was a master-craftsman with the organizing of the pie and expertly crafted my true desires. Then we moved down to our grill specialist, Ruben, who slung and spun that bad boy in that oven like no other. 100% of the way was my mouth drooling with anticipation. The pizza was absolutely perfect. 10/10 would come to be blessed by the heavenly grace of these amazing individuals. Whatever they’re paid, it’s not enough.“

“Absolutely fantastic pizza, probably some of the best I've had in my whole life. Our table had the Yeah-Yeah and the Sun-Dried Tomato and both were fantastic. The pizza took a bit to come out but was perfectly cooked and packed with fresh and tasty ingredients, absolutely worth it.

“I'm a fairly critical reviewer because I expect quality and I expect to get what is advertised and what I ordered (I also work hard for my money!). Seems a bit too much these days. But, I'm a fair reviewer as well. We've been ordering at this Hotbox for the last three months and it has been amazing!!! The skinny crust is incredible. We do like it crunchy and have to put that in the special instructions. But wow, they nail it and they do not shirk on the toppings, and the ingredients are really fresh. The pizza is always hot and fresh when delivered. I have to say, it's one of the few places that gets our order right and doesn't "forget" anything, i.e. cheese sauce, etc. They also certainly have the best breadsticks and cheese sauce. I never thought that HotBox would become my go to here in Carmel for pizza as there is a lot of great competition. Keep it up and we'll keep ordering! Thank you!“
